It was very frustrating that they did not allow us to check in even if I already paid the booking. They didn’t even look into my papers that I came in for my work and not for leisure. I chose this hotel because I thought it is safer than any other cheaper hotel and also because it is close to my work. They should look into their guests validation for travel first before rejecting them and now I don’t know if I will be receiving any refund. I hope their guidlines will be clear as I have to look for accommodation last night knowing that I still need to go to my work at the hospital early in the morning.

Front desk and staff were accommodating but there were 2 staff from housekeeping who suddenly barged into my room 2 seconds after knocking and turns out they were coming in cause apparently I called for housekeeping for checking out but I didn’t even call and wasn’t even due for check out. This was very very inconvenient considering that I had to be in quarantine and also it felt like an invasion of privacy. The hotel is okay but that was a deal breaker :/

I don't recommend the hotel because the front desk is not accomodating, rude and racist. They told everyone that my foreign dad has a fever and they cannot clean the room. I recommend them to undergo training again because I think they are not well trained. Thank you.

February 13-14 stay Great job, Privato! Quality staycation in reasonable price. Complete responses and details from customer service in Facebook chat, booking. Com App, over the phone and email. The staff are very accommodating. I want to commend Angela that pencil booked my reservation with the same price offered online and gladly answered all my questions. She also offered us a smoking room and allowed to bring food and drinks (as long as not bulk). No downpayment and hidden charges ✅ Katrina and the guy at the frontdesk who assisted us as we checked in and out are very professional. As well as the other staff and guards, greeting Good Morning and pinayungan agad kami nung umuulan. Our stay is very peaceful and relaxing. Solo namin ang pool. Malinis ang room, bago ang throwpillows, bed is VERY COMFY esp yung comforter. With kettle, personal ref and teacups. And good Wi-Fi signal I must say they are really improving their service and considering feedback from customers. Would definitely recommend.

I booked 3 rooms from Privato Ortigas for my business partners from abroad. I was definitely embarrassed since they told me about their horrible experience:
1. Staff wasn't helpful as they reported that one of the rooms has an aircon that wasn't functioning well. It took them countless follow ups before allowing my guest to change rooms
2. One of the closet in the executive room has a huge cockroach
3. My guest booked a spa massage for 10 and 11 pm. I called their manager to confirmed (since they are foreigners there may be a chance to have any miscommunications). The manager confirmed with me that they time slot is available only to find out the next day that they let my guest waited until 12mn. When my guest called the front desk for an explanation. The front desk was downright rude and antagonistic to say that they were inform which they weren't at all and kept on insisting that their information was correct. The next day I also tried to ask the other staff about this and they kept insisting that they were booked at 11:45pm. I told the staff that it's impossible since the manager himself told me that the time slots are at 10 and 11pm. I had to ask the staff to just apologise to my guests just to save any embarrassment which she did but I doubt she would have done that if I hadn't ask her for a favor since she also argued with me about it. Still waiting for their manager to call me for an explanation though. But I won't hold my breath.

Was here for New Year’s Eve. Nice view but their dinner was horrible. Steaks were all well done, took them forever to serve. Ordered baby back ribs, but I think the part they served was “pigue” therefore it was soooo hard, all meat and no bone. To top it off, it was cold in the middle. Music was terrible as well, it made the ambience feel so down being played on cheap outdoor speakers. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Cmon guys, you can do better.

The staffs are dependable, the building facade is good, the interior design is quite amazing, the room is fine, but the Wi-Fi is low.

I booked a room via Agoda because it’s cheaper when done on-site. I just presented my receipt, an identification card, and the payment. The process was surprisingly fast and smooth. The room I booked all had the essentials I need. There’s a complimentary water bottle when I first entered the room. There’s also some bags of tea and packets of sugar, coffee, creamer, dairy, and even an electric kettle and a fridge. Unlike in rooms at some hotels I previously went to, a hair dryer is very accessible here. The TV channels are not limited. I don’t know about you but it’s definitely off-putting if a TV in a hotel room doesn’t have entertaining channels (e. G. Discovery, NatGeo, and TLC). The only thing lacking in my room is a mini dining area. Free breakfast wasn’t included in my booking so I had to eat a nearby fastfood restaurant. For those who are looking for a food adventure, Kapitolyo is just nearby. However, I did not venture for that experience. I didn’t have a chance to explore the roof deck and the bar so my review might not reflect a true Privato experience. Overall, it was a satisfying stay at this average hotel, albeit expensive.

Beds are super comfortable to sleep, it's a bit spacious though the bathroom is small and smelly, there's a strange smell to it. Amenities are so so, pool is small, no kids playroom. Staff are friendly. The hotel is a walking distance to capitol commons where mall and different restaurants can be found. 1

Dated but it has fantastic internet speeds. Its accessibility is also a big plus since it's along Shaw Blvd. Breakfast food choices are limited.

We've been here thrice and their service is always superb! Their always after the customer's satisfaction. Glad we've found this place. I'll always recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an affordable yet classy hotel.

The hotel is 3 star, but had some 5 star feel to it in places. The reception and lobby, 5 star. The Roofdeck 5 star, the views 5 star. The room 4 star, the bed 3 star, the shower uses a small instantaneous hot water unit so doesn't get very hot. Dont have the air con on when you go to use the shower and it will be fine. Roof deck had amazing views. Staff were excellent. Breakfast bar on level 6 could use their bain Marie's running hotter, but food and selection for price was good at 350 pesos per all you can eat buffet.

This review is for my room and stay at Privato Hotel. Spent 5 days here. Total, with fees, came to 46$ a day, for executive suite. The hotel is right on the Shaw Blvd. Was on the 11th floor. Nice and quiet. Hotel lobby was clean and tidy, air-conditioned, with free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff, polite. Hotel a little dated, but very clean. Secure, and we didn't have any bugs. The a/c was very good. Fridge was too small for me. Beds were comfortable, with clean sheets, and new towels in the bathroom. Shower was clean with good pressure, with warm/hot temp. Overall I would recommend to anyone. Enjoyed my stay there. And free Wi-Fi in rooms too.

I booked a hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. My bill was 3, 830. I give the receptionist 5, 000 and she said she gonna the 1, 000 for deposit so if ever I have any room service I dont have to pay on check out. My check out time I ask for the deposit since I dont have any room service charge. Now they said I have the room book for 2, 000+. This hotel is liar and irresponsible. I went out for my interview and went back to my room to fi d out my room wasnt lock and told the reception but they didnt do nothing. Theres also weird thing happen. I was sleeping and woke up by the sound of my door closing loud and TV was off when I let the TV on when I sleep.

Its a nice clean hotel near Ortigas. Rooms are clean. Comfy beds. One of the cheapest around the area.

I had a very tiring night from work. Spent the night here so peaceful and quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Staffs are all accomodating, approachable and with a big smile. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. I will go back here that's for sure.

We stayed here last holy week 2018. Mdeyo mahaba ang pila when we checked in kaya may delay from the time we arrived and from the time na nacomplete yung check in process. We were assisted with our luggage paakyat sa room. Elevator was so scarce (2 lang kasi elevator nila) na kelangan maghintay ng few minutes to get a lift. We requested for our left over food to be reheated the next morning kaso ang tagal bumalik ng food. Nagiiyakan na mga anak ko at kelangan pa magfollow up twice bago dumating yung pina reheat namin. Nagsorry naman yung staff na nagdala. Which is ok na rin. My kids enjoyed the pool very much. Pero di ideal for adults pero super ok sya sa kids. They have courteous and nice staffs. Sa toilet, medyo nahirapan kami kasi ang tagal magpuno ng water para dun sa flush kaya ang tendency waiting game nanaman. Haha. I have requested for few extra items and it was brought to us immediately (Kudos! ) House keeping was also abrupt in responding with our request. Bumawi naman sila sa check out. Mabilis na. Hehe.

Stayed for 3 nights for a workshop. Rooms are spacious for 2. Breakfast has a variety of choices. Conference room we used is big and can accommodate up to 50 participants. Meals are delicious but not the snacks they served during the workshop. Staff are nice and easy to deal with. Clean and organized reception area.

Staff are friendly, cool aircon. Nice view at Roof-deck, there are nearby restaurant and fast food chain, though elevator are small and sometimes it takes so long. Welcome drinks is no good room is simple but clean.

I checked in for a few days and had a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. All was good, the staff very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I never used the pool, gym, bar or restaurant as there is so much availability for other places near to the hotel. My only issue was with the soundproofing as there was very little and as most know, the traffic in Manila is non stop and very noisy — especially the emergency vehicles. For anyone who is a light sleeper (like me) this can be infuriating. However overall I liked the place and will definitely be staying again. My thanks to the staff who looked after me.

Very pleased to know that concerns my family had when we stayed in 2016 were already improved when we came back December of 2017. The handwritten welcome note with a delicious brownie was a nice touch and the staff were very courteous and attentive. Our requests were addressed throughout our stay. Bathroom lighting can be added at the shower area for safety and ambiance. Apart from this, Privato has greatly improved.

We have an overnight stay with my family, 2 weeks ago, the staff are accomodating, the room was ok, but the flush omg, ubos power sa tigas. Second concern was my lost and Found item which is my white gold ring place near the lampshade, I forgot it due to rush for check out I have my 2 kids to attend to, thats why… Ive complain it to the hotel, and they insist that there was no ring found on my room, my concern here is they have no control on the housekeeping, in. Short pinag intresan nalang at wla manlang silang action.

It's been my 2nd year to celebrate my birthday there and the hotel lived up to my expectation. Got a personalized letter and small gift on the bed which is so cool. Room is spacious, bed is big and comfy, and there is bidet! Wifi is quite fast which impressed my son cos ours is quite slow. Lol. View at the rooftop bar is amazing. Pool and gym is quite small which is fine since the building itself is not that big. They also have in room massage and I treated myself to one and this is one the reasons why I kept coming back there.

Upside: 1. Ease of booking online 2. Professional front desk people 3. Courteous staff 4. I was upgraded (although) it didn’t really feel like it Downside: 1. Elevator doors had to be smacked hard by a staff I happened to be with to open/close at one point. 2. Mosquitoes at the elevator waiting area 3. Dusty lobby 4. Dusty room caused my allergic rhinitis to flare up, so I barely slept. I actually checked out 4 hours ahead of check out time due to this. 5. Old thinning towels, insufficient toiletry 6. Housekeeping had their cart eating up the hallway and they were discussing loudly 7. No stirrer provided so I had to use the end of a toothbrush to stir my coffee 8. Roof deck (smoking area) needs to be cleaned 9. Why take back the key card when normally other hotels don’t? All personal info and billing info are there after all? 10. No doorman. 11. No offer to help with luggage upon entry.

Privato hotel's elevator consumes a lot of waiting time. Swimming pool is cold, maybe you can add a heater for it to be warm, and there are kids jumping (which is dangerous and also disturbs other hotel guests), hotel staff should have reprimanded them. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay. And value for money is satisfactory.

We appreciate Privato for granting all of our requests. The staffs — from security, housekeeping up to front desk personnel are commendable for being consistently warm and courteous. The hotel's location is very strategic. It's near establishments and is just a few meters away from Capitol Commons, where you can find various restaurants. It's very easy to locate and ample space is provided for guest parking. Room was smaller than I expected but I didn't mind since the interiors look great. I appreciate that they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a Double Twin Bed room to a Double Queen-sized bed room. Check-in and check-out was fast, I didn't wait too long. Facilities were complete, though the aircon in our room was leaking. It didn't bother me much though. Massage was great! I think you need to improve on your breakfast selection. There were only a few options for the viand. I know that breakfast only costs 350, but I think there's much need for improvement, it's okay if you need to charge a higher amount for the breakfast, as long as its something that your guests can enjoy.

The receptionist gave me the wrong room number upon check in and thankfully, we (my companion and myself along with a hotel staff who assisted us) didn't end up walking in on a guest in the room we thought was ours. The bidet in the bathroom was broken and would not turn off after being used. Also, the air conditioning unit in our room was quite old and would only go down to 21 degrees and so it was quite warm in the afternoon. Overall, I've had better stays at other hotels at much more affordable prices.

Nice boutique hotel. Room prices weren't so bad considering how nice the rooms were. While the food wasnt so great here, it's conveniently located near Kapitolyo and Capitol Commons where you'll get to find many options. Will definitely go back here for weekend getaways with my family.

Imagine you cannot ask for another set of bottled water. They can only provide 2 water bottles only per room. But their room is expensive. And there's also a charge of 45 pesos for a bucket of ice. That was supposed to be free of charge for hotels that has a rate of 3, 000 plus. Too abusive.

The Room which I stayed in is not that bad, its small yet clean and cozy. It has a great view of the metro. Food (room service) came a little late and it was not warm anymore which was kinda let down but overall stay was nice. Would consider coming back perhaps bringing the family for a staycation.

It was a last-minute decision with my friends yet they didn't fail to give us a very good service! The staff are very courteous, from their front liners to their house keeping staff/room attendants. We were also given a free room upgrade which did not disappoint because the room might be simple but it's tidy. Ms. Arianna Colamonici Oangalan was also generous and provided us a guaranteed late check-out at 4pm. We stayed there on a weekday so, we got to enjoy their pool all by ourselves! Two thumbs up!

Everything is good. My family enjoyed our weekend staycation. Staffs were very accommodating. The room is good, somewhat comfortable, except for the "little" imperfection, (my husband and I found bed bugs on the other bed — — as our room has two beds) but it won't affect our stay since we were there to just relax and bond as a family.

Overall, our experience was pleasant however I just want to highlight some items that you need reconsiderations, to name: 1) Towels are overly used — In every hotel, we expect to use clean, white towels, rags and bath amenities. We were given off-white towels, mostly over-washed and would be thinking twice if those were clean. 2) No conditioner was given, only shampoo 3) Water bidet is defective — it doesn't automatically turn off when you release the lever 4) Remote Control — asked to replace the remote for the air conditioning, twice! We expect that all is functional when we check in 5) TV is too small for the room. Maybe a 32-inch TV set is not that bad for two bed sharing the room. The TV is relatively too small and good for desktop use only 6) Housekeeping — service is relatively too slow. To think that the hotel were not full at the time of our stay. 7) No utensils in the counter. You need to ask for spoons to even mix your coffee. Basic needs should have been present. But I would like to commend on the following: 1) Bed and pillows are good — we had a good night sleep 2) Laundry service is fast 3) Parking is free for tenants 4) Location is best 5) Receptionists are warm and accommodating Thanks for asking to be evaluated. This is where we see that you also aim to serve your customers better.

Very accommodating, hospitable and approachable staffs. It is a great hotel, nice room with a small fridge, and very functioning AC unit and TV. I only scored them 4 points because I think they should place a mini microwave oven in their rooms so if their guests want to eat their leftover food last night, they can use this microwave oven to reheat their food for breakfast or for brunch. Despite of that we really enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed our stay. Staffs are very accomodating and helpful. They upgraded our room to two queen beds since I have 2 kids. It's just towels are not good because it is very obvious that it was use for a long time, its not white anymore… off white or dirty white… bur smell is good. Elevator took so long. But regardless, me and my family had a wonderful stay.

I normally stay in high class hotels and was pleasant surprised with this hotel. The hotel and all the staff are extremely polite, very clean and I liked the fact that they put on lemon water in the lobby. The hotel room was very clean, however the towels wee somewhat old. The facilities there are very good, with a nice pool that gets very busy and it has a great view of the city from the top floor bar/restaurant. The food was excellent and the hotel seemed very busy. Over all, I had a lovely stay and will be happy to go back and would highly recommend it.

Spent my nephew's 2 yr old bday here. The staff had a happy birthday greeting posted on the wall which was a pretty sweet gesture. Service apart from that was a bit on the slow side. The room we had was spacious, fitting two queen beds easily. It looked like a condo. We tried the roof deck bar area too. It's a small sitting area at the top floor. They serve affordable cocktail and drinks there. San mig light is 75 per bottle. Overall, I'd stay there again for the price and the location.

Stayed here for a night. When I told the receptionist that I booked a room in the smoking floor a month ago, she immediately upgraded our room to the 22nd floor which had 2 double beds, beautiful and spacious. Highly recommended!

Close to Capital Commons. Price will not break the bank. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfy. Pool area was clean with towel service. Nice place to stay if you plan on doing a Kapitolyo Food Crawl and need somewhere to crash afterwards. Breakfast buffet was delightful. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were nice and courteous.

Pros — Website was streamlined and minimalistic, everything is well laid out — Reservation process was easy — Room is minimalistic but provides all the traveler's essentials for a great price. Quiet, fridge and safe included, waterfall showerhead with hot and cold water. Areas for improvement — Improve reservation and in-house booking system, there was a slight disconnect between the two upon our arrival but everything turned out okay albeit a minor delay — Include an FAQ section on website — Provide check-in and checkout information in confirmation email — Improve weightlifting machines in the gym — Provide taxi reservation.

Its not have more room like heretage but the room of copacabana is big nice and comportable.

It's a pretty good hotel. The beds are comfortable and it's easy to control the temperature. However, there are a few things amiss. You have a stove in the room, but no pots, pans or plates. Also, bidet pressure could be a bit better.
