From the moment I approached the lobby of Holiday Inn all I felt and saw were genuine smiles and hospitable politeness from all the staff from security guards, front desk receptionists to bell boys. The elevator from the lobby to my 21st floor was quiet and had a smooth ascent. It smelled good, too, but the print (or aren't they suppose to be lighted buttons? ) of the floor numbers are hardly readable. I had to bring my face close to the numbers so I could press my floor.
The rooms are spacious, clean, cold and well-lighted. They did not have a ready blanket for me when I asked for one and took 30 minutes for the housekeeping guy to find one.
Had to call housekeeping for drinking water several times because they only give 2 small bottles at a time and I had to boil water for coffee or tea several times a day.
Food at Fab was delicious and service was good.
No complaint on the bathroom.
Free Wi-Fi is a plus.
Checking out was effortless.
In toto: I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Galleria.

So disappointed with this hotel. First of all the place does not smell nice, second the food is horrible. The view is horrifying straight out of a horror movie. I won't recommend this place just go to a different hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is the mall access.

People say that the decor is quite dated. I somewhat agree. But it is bot as bad as you might think at first. Almost all the floors that we've visited had a citrusy smell. The rooms are big compared to the other hotels. The dining room was spacious. Breakfast buffet menu and taste are average. One of the downside is that it was a hassle to get a hold of someone to talk to over the phone. It was either they pass you around or the lines are busy. Would still go back though. Having the hotel next to the mall isn't a bad deal either.

The place is nice, the room is good, food is great. But the front desks personnel are lacking something. I booked for 2 straight days but the key card expired after one day. So I had to walk all the way to the front lobby wearing my swim suit just to reactivate my card. Also, my room missed a couple of toiletries.

This is my second time to stay at Holiday Inn Manila. I booked two deluxe rooms for a planning session for my newly opened business — travel agency. There was an hour delay for my check in and almost two hours for the 2nd room I booked. Notwithstanding, I still prefer checking in to this hotel because it caters to my needs. I was even provided a whiteboard that I requested for the planning session we did free of charge. Plus factor they have is the Robinson's Galleria linked to the two hotels. The breakfast at the FAB is really superb… will return once again when the need arises for another business meeting/session.

Love it here. I really slept very well and they gave my husband a free bday cake we also loved their breakfast.

Horrible service… Booked deluxe room, King size bed and when I arrive they inform me that there are no deluxe room available but they were upgrading me to a 2 queen bed room. I put a little pressure on them and suddenly they found a room with king size bed… walk in the room and is outdated, stinky with all old furniture damaged and lack of cleaniness or maintenance… I wish I could post pictures of what I am talking about. I am calling expedia to cancel my next reservation for next week on this hotel.

Holiday inn Manila Galleria has good service, nice rooms, lobby, pool and breakfast restaurant. It is right beside a shopping mall with many restaurants inside. This makes for a good experience. This is my first time in Manila so I do not know for sure if it's pricing is comparable to alternative hotels.

The rooms are kept clean and have ample space. Their is a refrigerator in each room. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms do have light blocking drapes, which is great because I slept during the day for the two months I was here for work. The staff was outstanding! Very polite and did their best to accommodate every request. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious, and could be free depending on your room. I would definitely stay here again!

Aside from some disappointments upon checkin, we had a great staycation. As always, rooms are comfortable, staff are nice. ‘Will keep coming back whenever we have leisure time. A good place for relaxation.

Clean and spacious hotel rooms. Overlooking Metro Manila from our room. Walking distance to all big Malls like, Megamall, Podium etc. Connected to Galeria and accessible to all types of transportation. With amenities like swimming pool, gym, spa etc.

Great location if you're in the Philippines doing business. The hotel is in the business district of Ortigas and a few minutes drive to the main business district of the country, Makati city. This is a great place to hold business conferences and meetings. Hotel is conveniently connected to Crowne Plaza Hotel and Robinsons Galleria. SM Megamall is also a few minutes walk from here. Great breakfast buffet which goes with your reservation. Has a Gold's Gym in the lower floor. Taxis abound in the area. Rooms are big and gives you a great view of the area.

A nice hotel to stay in if your in a business. Situated in the business district of Ortigas Center in Pasig. Also near with several malls like Robinson Galleria, SM Megamall and Shangri-la Mall.

Clean and huge room. Awesome breakfast. Location in the middle of Makati, prone to traffic jams.

Good place to stay. The hotel is probably due for a re-fit but at least it is clean and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable.

The sales and after sales service of this hotel sucks. Their sales agent called me up inviting me to purchase a membership. He told me that (1) I can get a special rate at Holiday Inn Makati (2) That I am immediately entitled for a free room night with breakfast. This is discussed over the phone, which is normal since I was also a member at Diamond Hotel before. After They charged my card, they emailed me the benefits and privileges and was surprise that there's no mention about the special rate in Holiday Inn Makati and that the free room night will accrue once I earn 10 stays within 1 year! Totally misleading! Naturally I asked for a refund. I emailed your membership manager, and he replied once saying that they will look into it. No response after several follow-ups later. What's irritating is that the credit card bank doesn't want to issue a refund until I get a cancellation letter from the merchant. So what am I suppose to do when Holiday Inn continuously ignores me? My money would go down the drain just like that? This is so unfair to think that holiday inn as part of the "hospitality business" but they can't take care of simple complaints. Will not be staying in this establishment ever!

Personal favorite in Manila. Great breakfast, warm staff, reasonable rates, access to Robinson Galeria Mall.

This is my 2nd time in Holiday Inn Manila Galleria but I have been checking in different locations even outside the country. They have standard best customer experience as all employees are courteous and friendly. Though on my 2nd time, there was one employee which was unrespectful and have no manners. Her name is Cynthia, as per the receptionist, she was a manager. I made a complaint about her behavior as we were about to go up after checking in, she get hold of the elevator just to tell me that they will charge me with corkage because I brought foods and drinks (they saw me with cake and pansit bilao). She really pissed me off and told her that I never experienced any hotel with a food corkage. Every guest has the right to bring foods if they don't like the taste of the food in a hotel restaurant. Only resorts are not allowing foods but they have a disclaimer in the website and some will disclose it during check in time. Hey Cynthia, you should be trained again with the right behavior on how you treat your guest. All staff were apologising to me and even told me that my booking has no corkage as I booked 2 bedroom suites. You are the only one employee that has no manners and you will damage the reputation of Holiday Inn Hotels. I hope that higher management will address my complaints so you would learn your lesson. FYI, I am an IHG member and I will not tolerate what you did to us.

One thing that makes my rating become three star is that the room 701 has no exhaust on both toilet. Very disappointing… hopefully not all rooms has the same problem. Otherwise I can give it 5 stars.

Friendly and helpful staff. Old but clean. Very good location. Breakfast buffet is mostly good. Pool is small and pillows are tiny.

Special treat at breakfast for IHG members. Beside a shopping mall, easy to get food. However the area is always crowded and in terrible traffic jam.

We had a stop over in Manila for 3 days and stayed at Holiday Inn Manila Galleria. Our experience with the staff and dining was above and beyond our expectations.
Breakfast at Fab, all the server was very attentive esp Angel he was very kind. The food by the way was delicious. Our bfast experience was like eating three meals at one setting.
I can't help but write good review's about our server Angel. He was very attentive, the next day dining he already knows our drinks preference and we were not able to use our breakfast for the last day he offered that we call front desk ahead before checking out early morning for our flights for a to go breakfast.
Thank you Holiday Inn Manila Galleria we had a great time on our vacations and surely will be back.

Nice place to stay. But lots of refurbishments taking place that time. No vivid signs going to the hotel in the mall entrance, coming from carpark. Breakfast buffet is fantastic!

Rooms were well kept, fully air-conditioned and spacious. Varied, healthy and clean food were served. Staff were courteous and good mannered. Lastly, the hotel is adjacent to Galleria just in case you need things.

At first, we are hesitant to book a room in holiday inn because we are reading a not so good reviews from people who stayed here. But it exceeded my expectation… our stay was pleasant, the room is clean, very accessible to the mall, buffet breakfast is love there's a lot of selection of food to choose, the staff assisted us agad since we have an infant and a toddler. The only downer is that you have to wait a little bit to check in. Thanks Holiday Inn Manila Galleria for a wonderful staycation.

Hello. My wife and I stayed here overnight while we waited to catch the flight to Butuan City the next morning. It was so pleasant from the moment we walked in to the check out process. In our room were some fresh fruits (banana, apple etc) and the linens were clean and the bed was soft. Just what we needed after flying for over 16 hours to get to Manila. And when we went to take a shower the water was nice and hot and the water pressure was good. The next morning we took advantage of the breakfast buffet. All you could eat from there international buffet for about $15 per person. If you have extra time, the Hotel is directly connected to Robinson's Mall for shopping convenience. This is a 4 Star Hotel about 45 minutes from the Ninoy Aquino international airport (Terminal 3) and cost about 300 pesos for a cab. I will stay here again. Holiday Inn Galeria is located right at the mall with mall access. It is walking distance from The Podium and Mega Mall. Its comfortable enough with good breakfast and very helpful staff.

A very friendly and polite staff. But, the location, cleanliness and amenities of the hotel are not so good. Bit boring as well.

Loacted at prime location, with Robinson mall next door. The hotel itself is a decent one, not the high end ones. Rooms interiors are bit old. The TV is grainy and most of the channels are non-viewable. Staffs are good and helpful. Breakfast is an OK affair.

Celebrated a joint birthday staycation (for me & my son) here early this year. Enjoyed the old warm vibe of the guest room. Staff were courteous & helpful. I appreciate the antacid provided by the clinic nurse when my hyperacidity struck. We love Fab! Very warm Fab staff so we visit Fab even when we're not checked it.

Not a new hotel, but very well maintained, even has 110V outlet in the bathroom. Was a good choice. Room just as in the pictures, large and comfortable. Wi-Fi is satisfactory but faster in the morning, nice bed, had a good sleep, big curtains too. Excellent room lighting, Just some slight noise by 7:35am. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Convenient location, easy to get Uber.

Its a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and price is reasonable. I highly recommend.

Carpeting in rooms are old and have an odor. Furniture's in rooms are dated. Cleanliness is very suspect, as when I checked in there were lipstick stains in the bathroom wall switch. The bathroom convenience items were missing, toothbrush, soap. Very high internet daily charge for in room Wi-Fi. The toilets were difficult to flush, usually requiring two flushing operations. Lobby area sucks big time. Super small, no couches to sit on and relax for a bit. Lots of people. The pictures on major travel web sites do not accurately reflect the rooms here, as word of caution. Staff are friendly, definitely I won't be back at this hotel. It isn't comparable to Holiday Inn's in the western united states. I would not pay over $60 for a room here. Trust me. I like the fact the gym is on the 4th floor and I also found the suriya spa on the 5th floor which was super cool. Also I love going directly to the mall using the direct access on 4th floor. It allows me to skip the super expensive room service and save a few $'s.

This is based just on our personal experience recently wherein my niece had booked one of their Presidential suites (Luna) last Dec. 03, 2011. @ You may need to verify and confirm first if your room would be available as per your booking reservations. Delays in your check-in time are not promptly advised. If you're not a high profile person, celebrity, or recognized gov't official, just make sure its not Mr. MIKE KUMER who would be the on-duty manager prior to your check-in time. There would be a high probability of delayed check-in time. His attitude and the way he handled my inquiries are not of a service oriented manager. It's not just saying ' sorry for the inconvenience and we'll just compensate you' style of handling such inconveniences of not being able to check-in as soon as you arrive. He would not even initiate to propose a just compensation but would just think that you're the type of person would not understand customers' rights and not complain. You may rather need to verify that Mr. CEDRIC LATI who would be the on-duty manager. He is a TRUE and CERTIFIED service manager because he had the proper attitude in handling the issue. He treats all customers equally and without prejudice. He was the one who gave some compensation for the inconvenienceso that our family had to go through.
