Large rooms with sofa. We had a 2 hr. Breakfast because the food was so much and so good and it was all complimentary. There is shopping just down the street. A very good restaurant out the front door and to the right across the street. Yes! I will return.

Average Marriott that could use a bit of an update. Bathroom was weak with loose fixtures and the former guest's hair in the tub and on the floor. Nice breakfast buffet except for the cold oatmeal. Nathalie at the front desk was pleasant, efficient, and eager to assist. Grab a street taxi rather than a hotel taxi to save money.

Convenient location lots of restaurants around to eat. Decent bar but food is whatever. The fitness center is great. Staff is super helpful and friendly.

Rooms are too old, and a bit of moldy, accommodation is not recommended. Breakfast is rich and varied, the gym is well equipped but as old as it is, with a steam room and oven.

We would turn the temperature down but it would not seem to get any cooler. In addition, the toilet would make a loud noise for a while after flushing. I feel like the hotel needs to be updated a little. The decor, although nice, is somewhat dated. I believe they may be in the process of updating as the tower that has their executive lounge was closed. The pool area is nice enough but does not get much sun because of the surrounding buildings. The food in the main restaurant and the sports bar is always very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak fairly good English. The current nightly rate ($127) is priced fairly for what you get.

This was my second stay at this Marriott. The staff was generally well trained and courteous. Our check in was a breeze. We had a large delegation so I must commend the Management and Staff for arranging our names in alphabetical order (excellent). More attention needs to be placed on managing the separation of utensils used to serve crustaceans and other dishes.

Probably the best service I've ever had at a hotel. Almost all employees speak English which is a plus. I had questions about a tour that was supposed to pick us up at the hotel and the front desk made the call for me and confirmed when they were coming. Also the food from the concierge-level was excellent and Estephania provided stellar service everyday. Highly recommended.

It is a comfortable, comfortable hotel with service staff attentive and friendly. With abysmal differences in the prices of other Marriott hotels in the capital in other South American countries. That's why it makes you want to go back and join once again.

It's an excellent five star Hotel. It is located in the banking and Hotel center of Panama City, so it is very downtown.

Staff was so accommodating and kind. I couldn't ask for anything more. Beds were great, maid service incredible and the friendliest, and the food and live music was perfection. I want to go back so badly.

Marriott Panama is located in the banking district of Panama city and is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. The hotel is built with colonial style and features which are very prominent is the lobby and restaurants and bar areas on the lobby and mezzanine floors. The executive lounge is located at the back of the restaurant and serves breakfast and evening canapes as well as coffee and soft drinks throughout the day. There are several bars and restaurants around the hotel and a casino next doors. The hotel has a small gym and health club and an outdoor pool as well. The rooms are big with plenty of space as are the bathrooms. All rooms have safes and coffee and tea making facilities. Overall a good business hotel in the city.

The hotel is majestic but the location is even better. The restaurant and cafes around are all locally filled. The people are friendly and helpful and all too willing to invite you to have some fun.

Great servir from front desk staff specially these guys that were on the Evening Harold and Escarlet they made all my doubts clear and even recommended some great places to eat l. Champions is. A great sports bar and it's food quantity is very large definitely recommend.

Excellent cuisine. The girl making the reservation (Susan I find) very rude and inefficient. I don't register my reservation, I assume that because I complain about your deal.
I had to wait half an hour for a table to be assigned and I'm disabled.

The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The kitchen staff left a lot to be desired.

Beautiful hotel in a great Panama City location. This is a very well run Marriott property with great amenities. The rooms are spacious, with an attractive decor. The staff was particularly helpful and professional. So many restaurants and bars nearby. There is a even a sports bar/restaurant on the main floor called Champions which had great bar food.

This high-rise hotel is situated in downtown Panama City. The views from my spacious 12th floor room were good. Internet service is free. The bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. The jarring thing is the two bottles of water on the bathroom sink counter, each clearly indicating a price of $6.25 if opened. Ouch! They’re only 1 liter.

The hotel room is really beautiful and has a lot of comfort eventhoug is an old hotel. The only thing I would change from the room, is that under my perspective the shower could be more clean. The entire hotel is beautiful and the service is good, everybody was very nice and friendly.
The pool is small and it might be a little boring for kids but overall it was a nice experience.

Great room. Good value. Good service at the sports bar and at the restaurant. Nice coffee place in the back of the main lobby. Haven’t been to all the hotels here but much better then the Rock one.

It's a good place. Very nice and the food is good… it is a very cozy place to spend a pleasant time. Its collaborators are very attentive and friendly. I can recommend it without making mistakes that you can spend an excellent night with friends and family.

The Marriott always provides everything you expect. This could be 4 stars because this isn't extravagant luxury. But for the cost, it is as good as it gets.

Large rooms, a bit dated, nice large two floor gym with lots of equipment, outdoor pool, executive lounge not private as most Marriott lounges are.

Staff is great. Nice well maintained rooms. Food has been great.

This is a generous 3. Room was fine and the hotel staff were very nice. Bartender in sports bar did not know how to mix basic drinks. 40 minutes to make his first ever Bloody Mary. Not very good. Switched to a Martini. Came in a glass full of ice. Went to dinner in restaurant. Food okay but waitress disappeared after delivering food. I am a Marriott gold and this was not worthy. Nice people but no training or oversight of food service staff.

What a wonderful place. The staff at this Marriott makes it special. I have never experienced such kindness and professionalism at a hotel. I look forward to returning. To the staff, Salute. It's hard to find the words to describe how memorable you made my vacation.

I have to start with the staff because they were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was tasty and had live music the night I stayed there. When you walk in it's very modern but the room is a little dated, they could use some updates. I would stay there again.

If you are looking for the Ritz, go elsewhere. If you want a good hotel, good views, thats priced well (usually around $115 including breakfast), this is your place. Breakfast is good, as well as the pool and gym area. Again, if you point out all the flaws in everywhere you go, go elsewhere or head to Hawaii. Welcome to Panama.

I loved the food! Super delicious and the buffet always had the temperature of the food is very good warm. The room super comfortable and the customer service very good. The only thing I didn't like is that it does not have a nightclub but for executives is an excellent option.

Central but a little dated it was the best hotel 15 years ago now panama is full of the best hotels at similar prices.

This is an excellent hotel, if you want to stay hosted, and get to know The City of Panama this is a very good place, and is not so far away from the Airport. In addition to its beautiful view, is very easy to get to.

The food and service is very good, but parties are held in a section of the lobby being disabled the same for the guests due to the volume of the music that doesn't allow talking in the vicinity.

This hotel offers spacious rooms, comfortable, comfortable and clean, as well as rooms for events. I loved their food and I found it spectacular, the variety of the buffet breakfast. All the staff is friendly.

Pretty nice the hotel and the service. The restaurant bar of down rich, prices of medium to high. The service is rather slow, as several times I spent in Panama.

Staff was impeccably amazing! The rooms where clean and the overall service was great. Good security on the elevators requiring room key to operate. Hotel lobby is walking distance to tons of bars and clubs (literally a cross the street).

Hotel 5 star Marriott chain in the banking area. It has a casino, restaurant and other amenities. Very good hotel.

The staff have all been great and the facilities and food have been fine and reasonably priced.

They said breakfast was included, and I asked to make totally 100% it was. We stayed there three nights, and ate our "free breakfast". When we got back to the U. S. Guess what? They charged all four of us for three breakfasts… at $20 a pop! That is $240 extra charges! Never in a million years would we have eaten that breakfast at that price.

Stayed there a few times. The best hotel in town. Very clean, spacious, and the staff is on the money. The bed was nice, I slept till late and wanted to take the pillows with me. I will recommend any day of the week. Close to restaurants, banks, supermarket, and walking distance from the new metro.

Great service and central location, view is of the buildings downtown. The staff is very courteous and friendly and helpful with dining and shopping suggestions. Excellent for a business trip.

Avoid Champions Sports Bar unless you don't care about sports… If you are sports bar and you are thinking about a good place to watch a game, fight or event, then you might be better either staying in your house or going to Hooters or Friday's. Champions has the worst customer service and they don't care about sports at all. When you get there at first you feel the atmosphere is good, but God forbid you ask them to put one game for you… the staff is so ignorant and rude that they don't even know the channels. I went with my girlfriend to watch a UFC event and they took one hour to find the channel. Then when the main fight was actually coming the kicked us out because they were closing. We had to go to hooters to watch the second half of the fight… it was one of the worst experiences I had while in Panama.

Clean, spacious, convenient location. Staff pays attention to little things, like leaving cookies in our room on Christmas Eve and keeping the lobby smelling fresh, faintly of fresh herbs. Would prefer self-parking.
