I loved everything. I went with my family and the deal from the beginning was A 1. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Great atmosphere and rich breakfast. I'd definitely come back.

Nice hotel, reasonable rates. But those are offset by the fact that they charge for EVERYTHING — extra room key, shuttle to the airport, extras in your room, etc. (I guess it's a Panama thing). The concierge was really helpful and suggested worthwhile tourist attractions and tours. I would stay there again.

Execelente hotel service, descending continental breakfast and off-the-top rooftop pool. As for the prices are ideal for foreigners. The hotel looks very elegant and is very close to shops, restaurants and more.

One of our favorite places to stay in Panama City. Conviently located and not very expensive. The staff treats us like family. We always get excellent service.

The good: Room is a 4. Happy with the bath tub and room layout. Bed and pillows were very comfortable The bad: Outside of the hotel looks run-down. Room service options are sub-par and overly expensive. We had to wait longer than we wanted at check-in (not a big deal though). The awful: paid 25% of the room price extra for breakfast and it was terrible. I have had better breakfasts at 2 star hotels. Do not waste your money on it!

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel we had a very good time. Just one little thing with the air conditioning in room 508 had some kind of noise but we didn't care too much about it. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very pleasant, Alonzo and the crew was excellent, front desk and night crew very helpful as well, next trip we will be happy to stay there again.

The hotel has a privileged location, but the most valuable is the staff who strive to make the stay a totally enjoyable experience, the Buffet of the best, in addition to the view that I had was wonderful, it was towards the temple of the Carmen where at half day so The bells were naba with the tune of Hail Mary.

Great rooms, excellent breakfast options and a well equipped gym with machines that work! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby to suit all tastes and budgets. A good option for business in this part of the city.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. And will stay again this Friday as we transition back out of Panama city. The breakfast was very good, the room nice and comfortable with good Wi-Fi. Staff very friendly as well.

I loved the hotel, I would recommend it to all, I am Peruvian and I like the good food and the fine treatment. Here the cleanliness is excellent, and everything is of first the shampoo, the soap etc.
The pool is nice and the Jacuzzi is warm all day. There is a fast Internet in the rooms that are super comfortable. I liked everything. Thank you.

Affordable, very comfortable rooms, well-trained staff with good treatment for guests. Good pool area on the 7th floor with a spectacular view of some bank towers. Next door there is a minimarket where you can supply of and picaderas at a good price. The coastal count can be reached on foot. Tremendous location and very safe. Breakfast could be more varied.

I find the staff especially Emanuel, Alfredo and Dayana to be excellent customer service representatives. The staff generally are polite and willing to attend to you. My breakfast this morning was not as great as yesterday due to limited variey in my opinion. I like that location and that it is very close to a church and the train station among other amenities. My room was clean and good. You will have to ask questions to ensure you know exactly what to and not to do.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never in our lives have we been treated as rudely as were at this hotel. The front desk staff explain nothing about the hotel policy when checking. I would not recommend no one to waste their hardworking money to stay at this hotel because the manager Carla do not respect the guest.

While staying at this hotel my experience was terrible! I would not recommend anyone to book a room there. The customer service is poor they treat you as if your are not paying your money to stay there. They do not explain the rules of the property and they charge you for guests without your acknowledgment. The Manager Carla is very rude and does not have any hospitality or customer service skills. When her employees are wrong, she defends them as if they are right. I am a person that travels a lot and stay at different hotels but by far this was my worst experience ever.

Terrible hotel to stay! They charge you for visitors without explaining this when you register! They also charge your credit card without informing you! This hotel has a policy that the customer is wrong and their sub-par employees that they hire who don't do their jobs is right! You report a problem to Carla the manager and she calls you to the front desk to confront you and remind you that her employees are right and your a trouble maker! I run my own a business and I wonder if their ownership group knows about what happens at this hotel. I've never went to this extent to write a review this bad but this hotel needs a wake-up call on how to treat their paying customers.

Trustworthy. Our credit card had fallen out of our wallet and they found it and got it back to us at checkout. Manager had it kept safely and asked for id verification, which is much appreciated. Excellent customer service.

It is a hotel that has many years and is evident in some structural aspects, but has been adapted to modernity.
Their facilities are nice and their service is good.
It is in a central area and very close to the metro station so it makes mobility easier.

A very cozy hotel in the center of the city. The rooms are spotless and they are very attentive and friendly to the guests. They give away some chocolate chip cookies that are delicious. Breakfasts are varied, with top quality products. Highly recommended.

It's like a roadside hotel, I stayed in suit with this I mean a normal room can be worse than a passing motel, lots of problems (small) but many, breakfast and location is great is the only thing worth the place, if you have the possibility to invest a little more, I recommend looking for another option,
We waited a long time for the cleaning and still coming in it was dirty, we had to dial in to have them pick up food that someone forgot, which is why they paraded the entire hotel around the room to check that we didn't eat anything of the Snacks (distrust maybe) not, but it was awkward.
They offered complimentary drinks that never arrived (that doesn't really matter) but you don't have to go to this place with a lot of expectations.

Outstanding hotel. As a Hilton Honors member I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel attendant upon our arrival was excellent. He was outside providing us information on where to park as well as picking up our luggage and delivering it to our room. My wife and I were very pleased with the service as well as the accommodations. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet. Parking is free and in the garage is under the hotel with elevator access. We left very early and we're not able to have breakfast in the hotel so no feedback on that. The shops downtown are within walking distance. Less than a mile to go to any needed shop. We will return.

Good service, cleanliness good rooms, breakfast within the standards, restaurant a la carte good, excellent location. Upgradable details are as follows: Hot water in the rooms arrives late, it is a problem of recirculating pump, missing a supervision in the restaurant area at breakfast time. Definitely a hotel I recommend. If price-value ratio is excellent.

Small hotel under the banner of the Hilton chain. Central and well located. It has parking lots and commercial premises on the ground floor.

Excellent service, comfortable rooms and kept the daily toilet. The breakfast was very nice. The location of the Hotel is very affordable. I really recommend it.

It is a hotel with a central location, close to a metro station. It seems quite cozy and of good atmosphere although I have only been to its reception. The area has commercial places, restaurants of various kinds for all tastes. Also fast food places and terrestrial public transport.

BEWARE — Despite being a HHonors Diamond and making a reservation for 2 people, Hotel wants to charge extra $80 for companion. Very rude operator and front desk supervisor. Hotel seems to be making more money by charging for 2nd person ($80) than for original reservation for 2 people ($60). Go figure! This has never happened to me at better hotels like the nearby Bristol. It's better to pay $110 at the Bristol for sure for much better customer service, better room, and above all transparent pricing.

Varied breakfast, spacious rooms 24/7 gym and a rooftop pool with jacuzzi from 7am-9pm.

Bad And unfriendly service; rooms clean and beds good, but really old — needs a renovation! Fitnesscenter is good equipped, but does it ever get cleaned? Can't say anything about breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The room smelled and they didn't give us a cookie the next day. However the staff was nice. Jamie the bell guy helped me find a nice place to eat. He was very sweet. But I wouldn't stay there again.

Poor customer service. Complained room smelled of mould, and was ignored, up until last day. Asked for breakfast and before going to the airport, they obliged. They offered Fruit in a box, which would have been great. We explained we can't eat dairy or gluten… they ended up giving us a cheese sandwich instead of the promised fruit. Not worth the money, and staff is not very helpful.

Rooms were great. Service was top notch. Breakfast was something to look forward to every day. Rooftop swimming pool was cool but could be cleaner. Gym had all that a typical person would want but smelled like rubber; it was hard to breathe in the gym.

Very nice hotel. Great staff. Very attentive to guest needs. Great breakfasts. Had a wonderful time the month I stayed there. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great Location and just seconds from the Metro (subway) station. Free internet as long as you used the code they give you in the key pocket. Clean swimming pool with plenty of table for pool side dining. One can feel very safe in this hotel because No unregistered guest allowed up to the rooms. Plenty of places to meet at the bar or lobby and meeting/ conference rooms if needed. Gift shop and computer center as well as workout facilities.

A well-kept, clean and a very nice place. Rooms spacious, clean and well lit, with all what has to have a hotel in the center of a great city. Breakfast is not very varied, especially for those who are not American, but very good breakfast. We call the attention that the Ms. Of the reception us called by our name. I have never stayed in the Hotel Dounle

I have never stayed at the Double Tree. I would like to spend both my birthday and my mom also.

Allow me to begin by saying I have never written a review of this nature. I am usually the person who asks for the manager to tell them what a great experience I have had, but this visit was worthy of my time and attention. First, the location was mediocre at best when considering restaurants, nightlife, and general foot traffic. The website pictures are deceptive at best. The lobby was small and unimpressive with the "hotel bar" in the middle of the reception area. We arrived in the evening and the incompetent front desk staff who doubled as concierge recommended restaurants in the area that were all closed. After going on a wild goose chase and having to give up and turn back, the room service they claim to have closes at 10:30pm (but not really since we called at 10:15 and they were unwilling to help us out in anyway. The elevator was tiny. Two people with luggage was a struggle. Good luck during check out time — we had to walk down 6 flights of stairs. The bathroom had no toiletries stocked, only had two bath towels and one hand towel. Not a wash rag or any other bathroom linen or products of any kind. The hall carpets were filthy. The bed sheets were fine. Most of the listed TV channels did not work and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Maintenance had to be repeatedly called to even respond and either could not fix the problem or blamed it on the guest! The windows were so filthy that we couldn't see the view of what turned out to be nothing.

Bad, arrive at 9am and I wanted to make you wait for my check-up the 15pm, the room has to be ready when the guest arrives at the hotel and not when they want it. The internet is very slow…

I always stay here over last 2 years for business trips. Fried ly staff. Comfy rooms. Close to restaurants and metro stop.

The best hotel for the price in Panama City. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Staff is friendly and curteous. Location is a bit undesireable, but safe and centrally located.

Check in was very slow, our sheets were dirty, the glasses were in the bathroom sink where housekeeping rinses them (instead of washing and/or replacing). Our electronic door locks were problematic throughout our stay, and the shower was dirty. This hotel was quite the disappointment given my past positive experience staying in Doubletree hotels in the past.

My recent stay at the DoubleTree in Panama City was disappointing. The room was very musty, the bathroom lacked shampoo and a hairdryer and the shower was in poor condition. On the other hand the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Hotel is very nice I loved.

Where should I start? We arrived from Seattle Washington at approximately 9pm and checked in fairly quickly. When we arrived in our room, we noticed that the sheets had not been changed in fact there were snotty tissues on the bathroom counter and the garbage in the bathroom had not been changed. We found a lump of dirty bed sheets on our bed. We proceeded to return to the lobby and mention the issues to the the receptionist and mentioned the play pen which was requested online had not been delivered. He apologized for the issues and called house keeping. We decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant to give some time to house keeping to prepare the room. An hour later, after we had finished eating, we checked to see if the room had been finished. We were assured it was. We went upstairs to settle in for the evening only to find they had delivered a playpen but ignored the dirty room. I proceed down stairs and discussed it with guest services. The sent someone up and in the interest of time, we helped turn down the beds. We were of course traveling with a 2 year old and needed her to get to bed. The also delivered the playpen but no additional bedding. Two days later, we were charged for mini bar items that we had not consumed. We never were issued additional bedding. Then the house keeper cleaned the room and removed the bath towels but didn't provide replacements and it took nearly an entire day to have them replaced.

Good hotel, comfortable, clean and good service. Acceptable breakfast and comfortable rooms.
