There is a good place, good staff. Good dinner, good People, clean room I have had. Very good breakfast, very good system, but in the booking it is was litte misunderstand. But alt was allright. My recommandations. We learn every time, mistakes every one else do. So the Hotel it is very good.

Near the CBD, easy access and friendly people at the front desk. However, room service is so bad, had to ask for shampoo and body wash during my 5 days stay! Central Heating system broke and my room was flooded.

Very nice hotel next to the new harbor at riverside. Perfect location for sightseeing and to the restaurant area at the harbor, 10 minutes to Nidaros cathedral. Cosy places to relax between the three main buildings under palm trees, and a nice view at the river. Highly recommend!

They were renovating the hotel. That meant for me that my room window was blinded with some sort of building tarp. Dark green, no daylight at all. As I was in Trondheim for work for 10 nights I thought this was horror, so I went to the reception to ask for a room change. The girl did her best but it was not possible. There were no apologies, no small gesture like some drinks in the bar and it was not mentioned on the website when I booked it. I understand you have to renovate once in while, but it is they way you treat your guests. If they would have done that different then for sure I would have given more stars but 10 nights in a small hotel room without daylight, no apologies, not mentioning it on check-in but let me find that out myself is not good, especially not considering the price of the room (approx 180 euros per night). It is a pity as the hotel was for the rest OK, the breakfast was nice, location is superb.

Nice hotel but so hot as to be unpleasant. Centrally heated and can not be controlled from your room, although there is a digital panel on the wall to remind you how hot it is. One small window opened but it opened to the inside of the building which has a large glass roof, so was like opening an oven. I think the reception staff have heard the complaints so many times as to be sympathetic, but unable to influence what is a very strange policy for such a plush hotel!

This was an experiment gone very badly. The only good thing I can be say is that the bed was large enough for 2 people. The room was hot (over 80 F, 27 C), even though we set the thermostat low. The breakfast was mediocre. There was a booking error and the front desk suggested we try to book another night online as we checked in, and assured us there were plenty available, rather than them fixing it. The clerk told me they were busy and there was, in fact, a long line of people behind us waiting to check in after us at 17:00. By the time we got back from dinner with our family, there were no more rooms available at the desk or at any of 5 online booking sites. They suggested we wait until the next day to see if something might open up. Rather than risk having no place to sleep the next night, I went across the street to the Clarion St. Olav where the price was lower, there was no construction in process, the room was nice, the staff were polite, breakfast was much better plus we got afternoon tea/waffles included and also dinner included. Based on this experience, and the fact they refused to even try to do anything to remedy a mistake followed by very bad service, I will continue to patronize Clarion rather than Radisson hotels on all my travels.

Same Radisson as the others I have stayed at. Cozy. Clean. A good selection of breakfast dishes.

Great location in this beautiful city. Good sized rooms, great breakfast with an incredible array of food, caters for everyone’s taste. You are in the heart of Trondheim here, with all that it has to offer.

Very nice hotel! Excellent location with amazing views and very close to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. The staff is extremely friendly and go "above and beyond" to take care of guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Trondheim. **Update** I came back for another stay and was put into a "Superior" room. These rooms are pretty much like the standard room but are directly facing the water with fantastic views. I thoroughly enjoyed my second stay as well.

Great stay. Nice buffet. Needed an aspirin at night and they couldn't help with that though so lost a star.

Very nice hotel. There is parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room is nice, everything is new and quality and matched with taste.

Would have been better (5 stars) had I not gotten a parking ticket while I was checking in to the hotel. Also if they would have placed an iron and ironing board in my room. However, the business class room and free breakfast was excellent.

Stayed at the Royal Garden for a business meeting and lunch. The conference room was adequately equipped for our gathering. The hotel offered beverages and snacks for the participants during the breaks. The lunch was a buffet, which was a delight. A good conclusion to a nice meeting.

Really central location in Trondheim. 20-30 minutes to/from the airport. Buffet breakfast catered for all tastes. Restaurant food was very nice.

Nice spacious room, with good facilities. Breakfast service was mediocre, with fried eggs or omelettes only available 40 minutes after the breakfast started. Room temperature nice but open areas of hotel quite cold.

Thought service at reception and in restaurant was excellent. The room was large, airy and quiet. Was happy with my Radisson experience.

Unfortunately, the room service only includes making the bed and changing the towels. Neither the dust and filth of the previous occupants of the room, nor the small stones that were carried in from outside, have been swept away. The bed linen was partly filthy and had holes. Moreover, no room has a window outside, which makes airing impossible. The hotel restaurant had closed on New Year's Eve, the staff made no suggestions where the guests could go to eat, as all the other restaurants had also closed. The good quality breakfast was unfortunately the only positive thing about our stay at this hotel.

I was there on a seminar. Nice meeting rooms, excellent food (lunch) and good service. Bonus for having the airport shuttle bus stop at the entrance.

This is a stylist classy hotel with a good location. Staff are helpful and the service is good. The rooms are quite small but they are clean and comfortable.

The room had usage marks everywhere which gave a bad feeling — like we were staying in a low stars hotel. On the table there was a greeting card for another hotel guest who probably had left after seeing the room's condition. We had to wash all the glasses we wanted to use because they were not clean (spots and some pieces of food attached) Lift stinked like a garbage room (maybe it is connected with such? ) And the staff didn't collect our breakfast order, so we had to leave into the journey without any food. Usually Radisson is a good hotel but I wouldn't recommend the one in Trondheim. It gives a feeling of bad economy in this place.

Good hotel, been there twice recently. Some rooms better than others, first one had a useless ironing board but I was told there were facilities in the basement. Friendly staff and quick to help when you ask. Breakfast can be a bit busy at peak times as there aren't that many tables. Late night room service is no longer available it seems. Handy for the airport bus (Vaernes Express, the silver one), which stops at the hotel.

Good accommodation in the very centre of Trondheim. For putting a paste, parking is paid on the street, and the breakfast room is small, with the qie is crowded.

Comfortable hotel. The room I stayed in was comfortable and modern but the common areas are starting to look a bit dated. Rooms generally face towards the "gardens"/atriums, which means you're facing the opposing wall of room windows. Which means generally keeping the curtains drawn. Good breakfast and fast and friendly desk service.

Close enough to the centre (quietly walking distance) and about half an hour from Trondheim airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not as nice as I thought…

A lovely place, though pillows are too soft, like in all hotels. Also keep in mind that the "superior" rooms on the top floor can be noisy because of AC. The glass roof can make the top floor too warm in summer. Otherwise, a nice stay (no late check-outs in summer), decent breakfast, clean rooms.

Good location near railway station and city center. Some rooms are nice; especially the redecorated ones. Many rooms do not have an outside view but have windows facing the atriums. Breakfast was quite good. If you arrive by car, beware of the awful parking; they have way too few parking spots and charge you a fortune for those. Nearby public parking (300m heading north) was half the price and more accessible.

Clean and nice rooms and hotel area. Very good location for city trips. Well organized car parking service in the basement (by external company). the breakfast is okay, nothing special. And my boyfriend complained they have no bacon! Very unusual in Norway. The breakfast area itself is too small and very crowded.

Bright and cared for in detail, does not make you miss anything and has a tasty and varied culinary proposal.

As a traveler not used to the sun being up pretty much 24 hours while I was here (late May), I would have sincerely appreciated curtains that covered the whole window. Instead the edges are exposed and the room never fully darkened. Also the headboard in our room was lighted with no way to turn it off other than cutting the main power to the room… at which point you couldn't have the TV on or use most of the outlets. Very odd. The food was good at breakfast and it was otherwise clean and quiet and the front desk staff were kind and knowledgeable.

I had a reservation… but ended up not staying because the city of Trondheim decided it was a good idea for all hotels to go on strike at the same time. So, even though I did not stay in this hotel… No one took the decency of warning me that the hotel would be closed and to find another place to stay or not travel at all to a city that doesn't have rooms available and has 3 degrees Celsius, if not less, at 21:30 outside. Only in Norway…

A superb hotel with all the amenities, clean and beautiful. We were early in the morning at 0600 am in our room even though it was only busy in the evening. Breakfast is only to recommend, there are near large Windows on the river. Priced in order.

Stayed here twice this week. Great hotel and breakfast. What you pay is what you get. Weekdays cost more than weekend.

It need refurbishing, getting old but with "new" prices.

I have stayed on June 2015 for 6 nights. Hotel location is very good, close to all nice attractions of city. But bed quality is very poor, feel like sleeping on floor, then internet connection is bad too, plus my TV did not work in last few days : (. They need to relocate the garbage bin far away from underground parking, as you take the elevator down, the smell of garbage bin hit the face and stick on your clothes for rest of day. Also, the staff need to be train to smile and be professional CSR.

The hotel is nice, but it is really lackluster compared to the other hotels I have stayed at in Norway. Maybe the other hotels spoiled me, but the lack of a buffet dinner and poor Wi-Fi is a real downside.

We came late at night and they accommodated us with a business class room and a small fee for our dog. The only thing negative was that they did not have bacon at the breakfast serving. Otherwise god stuff.
