We were 3 people staying here from Monday — Friday, in each our room. When I called and made the booking she said I would receive a confirmation by email with our booking number. That never came so I was worried they didnt book us, so I had to make another follow up call to confirm our booking. Upon arrival they did not inform us about the fact that breakfast and dinner was included during our stay. I found this out later when I overheard one of the guests conversations, on the last day! I also asked to get the points from their reward program, which I filled out their form and joined promptly. When I tried to log in using my email to check the points it was revealed I was not registered. After coming back I wrote them an email and explained about my poor experience with their hotel — and of course; 4 days later and I still have not received a reply. Friends beware; stay away from this place if you can! Reply 04.09.2018: I sent you an email but it is odd that you could not reply. It is my lastname, firstname and gmail address.

The hotel is in a great location with a major exception. There are local bars that are open until 0200 in the morning on the weekends. The locals come out and are up and rowdy until around 0330 to 0400. LOTS of noise and bottles being broken outside of our window. This is a major setback for this hotel. Do not book a room on the weekend if you want sleep. Outside of this, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. The rooms need updating and some work. The TV doesn’t work all the time and the carpet was dirty. The building is an old building and historical, but just needs some tlc.

Perfection in the Heart of Trondheim, this former bakery has lots of character and history and a leading Hotel within Trondheim, exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, who are committed to meeting their customer needs at all levels. Their newly refurbished rooms are quite a contrast to the previous rooms, I am looking forward to seeing the result of their ongoing refurbishment across the entire hotel. We had yet another short break in this hotel as we toured around the city, the breakfast area was well presented with a superb selection of hot and cold choices,. Mid afternoon waffles were a sheer delight and well received keeping hunger at bay. Until our perfect evening buffet with a large glass of Rose wine to wash down a beautiful evening meal, in a friendly environment with tentative staff on hand to ensure customer requirement were always met. Check in easy, spoke excellent English which was a great help to us. Underground secure parking for 100kn coffee and tea served in restaurant free all day and afternoon waffles available to make yourself. The rooms were big enough with TV, plenty of electrical sockets, shower gel and hairdryer if required. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too. Dinner was buffet style with plenty of choice and very tasty, fresh fruit for dessert with fresh baked bread available at both dinner and breakfast. Overall excellent value for money, very helpful staff would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

Probably the most value for your money for a hotel in Trondheim. The room was quite big and looked to be recently renovated with the pleasant smell of new wood. Furthermore the price for the room included breakfast, coffee, waffles in the afternoon and an evening buffet. It's not fancy, but it got its own charm. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful for out-of-towners! Beautiful building and rooms, complete with an included Breakfast, dinner, and mid-day waffles! Underground parking for those traveling via car as well and the staff is friendly and accomidating. Location is right in the city center near the trains and major landmarks to walk to, like the cathedral and armory 10/10!

A Best Western Plus in an old backery from 1897. Very well done. We stayed here on our way to Tromsø and decided to make an additional reservation for our way back. Breakfast and dinner are included and very rich. The rooms are large and clean and for such an old building in excellent shape. The lounge is in a heated courtyard with glassroof. Limited parking is available in a hotel owned parking structure underneath the hotel. Prices are reasonable. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. After many visits to Trondheim the Bakeriet became our first choice.

Bathroom was dirty and room was ok. Some light fixtures didn't even work. Staff didn't inform anything about the services they had to offer. The hotel seemed worn and tired. Needs to be updated.

Room and beds comfortably welcome drink and breakfast excellent friendly staff interesting building and history.

We had an excellent 3-night stay at this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and the amenities are plentiful. They provided a buffet breakfast, an afternoon snack (yummy waffles, cream, cheese, and fruit), and a buffet dinner each night, all included in the price. I appreciated having a gym and sauna on site and a washer/dryer for guests to use. Even the laundry soap was provided for no additional fee. Don't miss the view of the Trondheim Fjord from the windows of the gym and the outdoor patio on the 6th floor. The service was consistently friendly. Great location, too. It's an easy walk to the Torget, to the Cathedral, and to the beautiful buildings along the river.

Good hotel, good food, close to the city center and most importantly very good attention from its staff! (Not expensive) ;-)

The hotel is nice and in the city centrum. Besides the big breakfast, you get free waffels in the afternoon and free dinner in the evening. The dinner is ok but not delicous. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need. The staff is friendly.

Love ❤️ this little gem of a hotel! Staff are wonderful and friendly from the moment you arrive. YUMMY waffles, jam and cream, tea and coffee (to go) as well available from 3pm daily. FREE evening smorgasbord included in the price. Gorgeous courtyard for smokers. Typical scandi breakfast on offer (yummy). Pleasant room and wonderful bathroom. For the budget conscious this lovely historic hotel ticks all the boxes. Not like the dump we are in now at PHotels Bergen which has NONE of the above.

The rooms are not so clean, but is comfortable, quiet, and if you are a smoker they have plenty of places for that, the central yard is nice, and the integration of the old factory is a plus, just is not clean (not very dirty also, but when I was there I had to clean the toilet myself, and the floor obviously was not vacuumed…)

We stayed here during our time in Norway in August. We had to leave for a brief time during the fishing conference in Trondheim, but worked perfectly with the rest of our travel plans. The staff here is simply the best and the hotel itself is wonderful! The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and the location can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a place to stay in Trondheim.

What a great staff. Rene went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Have us so much info in the city. When he knew I was looking for ancestry, Rene gave places to go and look. All staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Nice rooms. Not the most fancy, but they kept the original Bakery consept.

Yes I love this Hotel and the best thing is that they has saved the history since it was a " Bakeriet " :).
