We absolutely loved our stay at Revier. Such a wonderful hotel with so many thoughtful little details — fresh fruit, tea and coffee at reception, and delicious freshly baked croissants in the morning.
The room was incredibly comfortable. The bed, pillows, and duvet were so soft and cozy that you just wanted to stay wrapped up in them. The heated bathroom floors were another perfect touch.
We also loved the terrace with its beautiful view, the convenience of having laundry facilities, and the location — everything is close by, yet the street itself is quiet.
I especially liked how digital and convenient everything is: online check-in, no need to carry a room key, and everything is easily accessible through the app.
A special thank you to Ida at reception for her warm welcome, lovely conversations, helpful recommendations, and, of course, the croissants! :) Her hospitality made our stay even more memorable.

Revier is truly a hidden gem in Oslo. This is my second stay here, and I can honestly say I love this place just as much as the first time. The atmosphere is wonderful – calm, quiet, and with an excellent standard throughout.
Staying here feels like having your own luxury apartment in the middle of the city. It offers privacy, very little noise, and a genuine sense of comfort that is hard to find in larger hotels. I absolutely love this room and will definitely be returning.
If I were to offer some constructive feedback, it would be regarding the ventilation system. The airflow seemed a little too strong considering the outdoor temperature, making the apartment slightly cold for my personal preference. It would be wonderful to have one or two additional adjustable heat sources available, or perhaps the option to reduce the ventilation speed. I imagine the current setup is absolutely perfect during warmer days.
Another small suggestion would be to add either a small awning or a parasol on the terrace. It would make it possible to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views and the atmosphere of Oslo despite a few raindrops, or to comfortably work on a laptop outside during sunny days. Improving the Wi-Fi coverage on the terrace would also be greatly appreciated, as the connection was often weak and frequently disconnected outdoors. Extending the Wi-Fi range to fully cover the terrace area would make the experience even more enjoyable.

We were looking for a hotel in Oslo for a short stay. Revier was conveniently located for the Oslo central station, and all the main attractions. The hotel has a chilled vibe and ambience with contemporary design. It's clean and has all the essentials for a city break. The rooms had all the facilities you need but be aware that there is no cleaning offered if your stay is less than 7 days. But… for a digital hotel that relies on its app for the customer experience it didn't work. There were problems activating the app when we arrived, the chat facility only works until 9pm so could not get in touch with anyone after that time. Also after check-in for some reason we could no longer post messages only receive messages. The breakfast is offered by a restaurant nearby but the quality of breakfast was poor and staff were indifferent.
What did make this a really pleasant stay was the staff at reception — call out to the two Camillas (thank you for all the recommendations and your help in planning our stay). Also, Ida (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) who was always very pleasant and helpful. So oddly for a digital hotel the staff made all the difference!
