Just ordered the takeaways, during level3. The Chinese was delicious. Burger was yum and all good value for money. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. The young lady at reception was very helpful and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Had a lovely hot shower which is hard to find sometimes. Thank you. Would definitely stay here again if I was to come back to Te Anau.

Nothing to complain about. You get what you pay for. Receptionist was polite and helpfully. Kitchen has got the essentials but nothing more. And also there is only two of everything (forks, plates, etc) even though the rooms sleeps three persons.

When we arrived at 12:30, the place looked absolutely barren. No one around but the receptionist, but we were still told we'd have to wait until 13:00 to check in because our room wasn't ready. We waited in the parking lot and went back at 13:00 and got the key to our room, which ironically enough we had been sitting in front of while waiting in the car. Not one member of housekeeping staff came or went while we sat there, so we knew the receptionist was just being difficult. Regardless, the room was large, had a small kitchenette, and was very clean. A bit dated as far as the decor was concerned, but the beds were comfortable. The only other issue we had concerned the dining room in the reception area. We booked this hotel partially based off of the availability of an on-site restaurant, but when we tried to go to dinner we were told that they "only had a Chinese chef on duty". I don't really know what that has to do with anything, and I do enjoy Chinese food, but when we told them that was fine with us we were told we'd need a reservation… at an almost completely empty restaurant… at the hotel we were staying at. We felt like we weren't getting the whole story, but what can you do. We went in town for dinner instead and enjoyed that instead!

Spring beds are extremely uncomfortable. Paper thin walls and poor television reception. Tried to have a shower in the morning but all I got was cold. Called reception and was told to wait 1-2 hours. Overall if you need a place to stay for only one night this place will suffice. Overpriced for what it offered.

Nice accommodation. Basic, neat and tidy. No microwave or cooking facilities but it does have a restaurant. Close walk to the town centre. Enjoyable stay.

Myself and a friend stayed here for one night. The rooms are very clean and spacious. There is a fridge and well placed power points to charge devices. The shower is excellent and room is well ventilated. The Wi-Fi does not work very well in the rooms.

Near Subway (fast food restuarant) Room size is relatively big. There are two queen sized beds in our room, but I saw single beds in other rooms too. The sofa can be opened up for another bed. This hotel is a environmental friendly one, so the amount of hot water is restricted in each room. You cant take a bath even with a bathtub. A very important thing to note is that you need to turn the tap to right side for hot water and left for cold water. However the hotel looks quite old and resembles those in the cowboy movies All buildings are only one level tall Breakfast is available.

Spacious rooms and parking space. Close to the Te Anau lake. Service superb.

Great place for touring group, walking distance to shops, restaurant and the scenic lake.

Rooms were nice and quaint. Big beds! I like the style of coming into the rooms with a sliding door. Made the room feel a lot more spacious.

Food and service is excellent! Tonight's dinner is a surprise which most dishes is Guangdong taste! The Guizhou sour fish soup is good, too. Really a surprise! 多謝大廚的誠意款待！Te Anau 有你在，中國菜定增光不少！祝生意興隆！

Very friendly. Kid friendly. Answered the kids questions. I love a place that will talk to the kids as well as the adult.

Old but nice hotel at a convenient location. Offers a good breakfast buffet with various dishes and drinks.

Not cheap, but it's a very nice place to stay. The rooms are pretty spacious and the bathroom was pretty. The Wi-Fi works great!

Good clean place to stay, the breakfast offering was a little lacking as the food was cold. For a place to stay on the way to/from Milford Sound it's not a bad choice.

Really Excellent place to stay, nice & tidy beautiful service, friendly staffs close to lake. We have no complaints at all but for sure we will be coming back again here. ❤❤❤

Beds no good. Lighting no good. Shower head fell off when turned on. Cups had to wash them before using dirty.

Out of town a bit. Quiet, clean and nice.
