I booked for 4 adults 2 adults slept in lounge area but access to bathroom/toilet was through main bedroom. No comfortable seating area Very old and tired looking especially bathrooms. I would suggest it would be suitable for 2 adults and 2, children TV freeview only and didn't work terribly well, totally overpriced
$500 for 2 nights! Photos do not represent the true picture of the property no lakeviews from the room we were in.

Located close to this touristy little town and snow-capped mountains all around, this is a great location. The property is on the lake-front road. Our unit is comfortable but not luxurious. We have a small efficiency kitchen and a minimalist bathroom. Most of the units don’t face the lake. You are paying the high price for the location.

We had a fantastic stay at Edgewater motel. The room was super cozy, clean and very comfortable with excellent quality amenities throughout. The location is bang opposite the lake Te Anau and the town centre is a pleasant stroll away or 2mins drive which was perfect. We shall most definitely book our stay here again next time and recommend this motel a 10/10!

Recently renovated, very clean motel right on the water front. We stayed there nights and visited Milford in between. A short walk to tours, restaurants/bars and parks make this a great choice. If you get the chance to book the Lakeview Suite then do so as the panorama from the three broad windows is a spectacle.

Great lake and mountains view, helpful friendly service, very comfortable unit although heating was not adequate.

The hotel is old, but very cozy. Stopped late, but the room was cooked, warmed. Very clean. There is a small kitchen area with all the necessary amenities.

Essentially an upgraded motel. Great location. We booked late so prices were expensive. No amenities available but not necessary due to the available hiking. Front desk was very knowledgeable in terms of hiking tracks.

We're in room 16 with a great lakeside view — well worth the extra cost. Clean, airy, bright and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Good shower. Friendly reception. One small improvement that could be added would be a small patio table set for the balcony that could also be used inside.

Such an awesome place! It was facing the lake so the view is definitely something I love waking up to everyday.

The room was very spacious and newly refurbished with a modern clean finish. A good location, just across the road from the lake front and a short walk to the town centre. The room included a well equipped kitchen area, adequate for preparing snacks if required. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed three nights in Unit 5 freshly refurbished everything about this motel was great. Comfortable bed and living area. Super responsive hosts would highly recommend.

This place was really good except for one thing, the AC compressor outside the bedroom window. If the heating if on then this clicks on and off all night. We had to turn it off as it was too noisy. Pity the test of the place was great.

Stayed in recently renovated unit which was superb. Equipped with everything you need. Lovely location. Welcoming, friendly and very helpful proprietor. Good value for money.

Warm room, reception staff very enthusiastic, the explanation is very careful, the room has electric blankets, heating, sheets sufficient, winter completely not afraid to sleep will be cold!

The staff were pleasant and welcoming and the position was excellent opposite the beautiful lake. The rooms were clean and spacious however not modern. Looks like it was built 50 years ago but the beds were comfortable. Overall a pleasant experience.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was very clean, spacious, HUGE living room, wonderful sunroom, big bathroom, private garden eating area, yard to play in, FREE Wi-Fi and parking, well-equipped kitchen. It was a fabulous place to stay for Christmas, perfect for a family! Beautiful leisurely walk along the lake to restaurants, shopping minutes away. Definitely would stay again!

Filthy little hole of a motel — wouldn't stay here again, even if Wayne (manager) was paying me.
