Lovely staff and check in and our room was top notch. This hotel is in a great location to sample Wellington's social scene.

We are loving our stay here. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was so appreciated. They could not do enough for us. The room was spotless and the bed really comfy. The view from the room is fabulous. This is a great place to stay and very central.

Purchased a groupon voucher for $49 for Duppa bar, was called by Ohtel to explain they could not offer what the voucher was for & to contact Groupon for a refund… Groupon does not have a purchaser contact channel only the business can contact directly. I have since followed up with Duppa bar multiple times over the last month with no help what so ever. They refuse to take any responsibility for false advertising & are refusing to refund. Would never visit Ohtel or Duppa bar based on the lack of accountability & how difficult it has been for them to rectify an error.

I had a meal at the Duppa cafe (Ohtels cafe) and it was incredible food! The service was great! I defenitly recomend this!

Very polite crew. Very nice rooms with few technical fails. Like that in our room the bathroom had no support railings at all or that the bathtub even though big was taking ages to fill and empty. Plus no intant coffee in the mini bar?! Big TV though.

Really comfortable stay… great beds and rooms. Coffee and food is with calling in Views onto the harbour are awesome.

Looooooved our stay here. We had a lovely room with a balcony view out to the park and harbor. There’s a huge bathtub perfect for soaking and relaxing.

Chic but expensive hotel with a great location near the waterfront. The rooms are large with modern influences such as curtains for the bathroom instead of doors. There are great views of the harbor from the front facing rooms. There is no parking and parking in downtown Wellington is not easy or free, would not recommend if bringing a car.

Rest stay, staff where at the highest levels food is awesome, totally looked after, felt so energised yet totally refreshed, had to stay a second night, very blissful will stay again, thnx Ohtel.

A lovely quirky hotel, very comfortable bed and good sized room, great view of Oriental Parade and the harbour. Room decor makes you feel like you are staying in a private home rather than a sterile hotel room. Would definitely come back again.

Ohtel is the nicest hotel I have had the pleasure to stay in. Hands down. From the moment you book the staff offer service that is outstanding. When you get there you don't want to leave. Perfectly located, we found ourselves often returning from exploring that "cool" end of the city and just relaxing in the room. It was perfectly appointed with the most exquisite furniture, vintage NZ crockery collections and stunning decorations. Great work guys.

Hotel was something special when it first opened but its now very tired and run down. Not worth the money they charge for a room. When I stayed the bathroom was clearly leaking and the room stunk.

My husband and I stayed here in December on our honeymoon and Ohtel surpassed our expectations in every way possible. The location is prime, the views are great, and the design is beautiful! From the moment you enter you feel as if you have arrived somewhere very special. The rooms are warm, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail throughout is very impressive. Great care has been taken to make sure guests will be comfortable here. The owner and staff are …extremely welcoming and they genuinely care about their guests. While in Wellington, my husband had an accident and broke his leg very badly. The Ohtel staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me with all of the arrangements that needed to be made after the accident. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their assistance. We could not recommend this hotel more highly! We will continue to send our friends and family there and hope to be back ourselves within the next year. Thank you Alan, Nathan, and everyone else for such a memorable stay.

Clean but rooms lights were odd and little conveniences in the room that didn't require a mortgage.

Booked the Superior suite for a single night. Great location for those visiting from out of town (Courtney place, Waterfront and Oriental Parade right at your doorstep). Staff very friendly and welcoming. Suite was excellently presented. Wonderful bathroom. Parking is on street, which can mean your parked a little way from the Hotel (observation, not a criticism).

The hotel was cute, comfortable and in a great location (check out nearby Ortega Fish Shack, which is wonderful) but best of all were Loubna and Evan, who were so friendly and accommodating. I was offered a free upgrade and was allowed to check in to my room at 7am! Great experience and highly recommended!

Went to Wellington for the weekend and booked two rooms one of which was meant to contain a secondary bed for my 20 year old son and whilst it was quickly installed my son said it was less than comfortable and was a little disappointing. Wellington turned it on for the weekend and overall we where very happy with our stay. The location is great, the views from the room where stunning and it's easy walking distance to everywhere. I would have given 5 stars except for the bed.

Spent a night there away from the kids. Really nice Studio room in a nice location. A bit pricey but expected from a boutique hotel. I would stay again.

An awesome boutique hotel with beautifully designed spacious and modern rooms with a touch of original midcentury furnitures. They think about guests needs even to the extend of leaving in the rooms complimentary bathing salts, Paracetamol and Durex :) Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here last week on our wedding night and had the most magical time. The service, room and attention to detail was superb. Thank you! We will be back — even though we only live 10 minutes across town.

Spent our anniversary here couple of weeks back. Travelled all the way from the hutt. Would travel from the other side of the world though.
