The service by Hamza, the front desk attendant is wonderful. He is friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make you welcome.
The breakfast was a good, lite breakfast with orange juice, tea, coffee and an assortment of breads.
Our room had three beds in it so a bit tight and the bathroom lights did not work, even though they attempted to fix it. It was too late to ask for a new room so we did not bother. Building is very old and maintenance can be better.
The location is ok, walk from parking lot to building is about a 13 min walk, so be ready to haul your bags.
Going into the medina is tricky, but it takes some getting used to inside the medina. Look out for scammers trying to make easy money. Questions or asking for directions come at a cost, especially young people offering to help, when you did not ask or don't need it, then acting like you owe them for their advice. Medina gates close after 10pm or so, it's harder to get back to the riad after. Safest thing to do is call the hotel/riad attendant if you are stuck and they will come get you.
