Honestly, this place has been such a letdown. The room is tiny, way smaller than it looks in the pictures—they’ve clearly done some clever editing because it’s nothing like what’s advertised. To make it worse, there’s a window right by the bed, so all night I’m dealing with constant noise and light shining directly on my face. Sleeping here is impossible, and it’s been driving me crazy.
I spoke to the owner 3 days ago about switching rooms or at least finding a solution because I’m here for 15 days, not just a night or two, and I can’t keep dealing with this. She said she’d “look into it” and get back to me, but of course, she hasn’t. Clearly, she just doesn’t care. It’s been 3 days now, and nothing has been done.
I feel so uncomfortable and exhausted. This whole experience has ruined my stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—don’t trust the photos, and don’t expect any help if you have an issue. It’s just not worth it.
Very unique house in Marakek. Tiny. Clean. Japanese style (the owner actually is a Japanese). There are kitchen with chopstick for eating noodle, sofa room for reading, terrace for smoking and sunset chill. If you are looking for something special than traditional Riad, this Dar Oki is for you.

Great room for short stays — interior is very tight so if you are quite tall you may struggle but overall fab I’ve visited Marrakech twice and have stayed in the accommodation. Very close to popular sights like the main square and kazbah, it’s located next to a palace so there is security within the main roads. A little hard to find however when I first went a guy from the riad came to meet me and show me the way. Prompt with advice and transfers and replenishing amenities.
