Absolutely loved our stay. Don't let the street sizes fool you it is very close to Playa Norte and downtown restraunt areas. However it is far enough away you feel like your in a private oasis. Staff was fantastic, although they only offer continental breakfest they can pick up foos from restraunt for you or simply take a 5 minute walk to the main restraunt zone.

Fantastic view, beautiful pool, great service, love the private balconies. Very peaceful place to relax. This has been the perfect place for us to stay here on the most wonderful Isla Mujeres.

Large room with nice view. Very helpful manager who gave advice about touring the island, even gave us free tea to the room when my wife was sick. Shower head was terrible, room could use some refabrishing, and pool could really use an outdoor shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay, although I think 170$ a night is a bit too much. Come here if you can afford and don't want to pay for privillege aluxes, and want a quiet plave. It is close enough to the main beach to walk there, but far enough to not hear any noise.

My companion and I stayed here for 4 nights on the 3rd floor. Lovely little boutique hotel with only 12 rooms, so you get that special attention from the staff. I highly recommend staying here (especially for couples) who want a quiet, but convenient spot on Isla Mujeres.

Ah Hotel Secreto hhm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would enjoy the beach but not want the noise associated with being on the beach. My room the junior suite on the 4th floor was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location, close to the beach but not on the beach offers a respite from the noise and bustle of other hotels I walked past. The best part is the staff. Rogelio was phenomenal starting from our initial interaction via email while I prepped for the trip. He had helpful hints and suggestions and was the same when we finally got to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and took very good care of us. I will certainly stay there again on our next trip!

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, the room was clean and the view spectacular. Special thanks to Victor, Omer, Willy, and Jose… they are absolutely first class. We will be back next summer!

We started going to Secreto since 2008. We've seen many changes and it just keeps getting better. The staff is amazing and we feel so welcomed every time. Its clean and comfortable. It comes with an outside bed which I truly enjoy at night when I can listen to the waves crashing. No bugs. Its secluded but at the same time its only a 3 minute walk to downtown and 5 minutes to Playa Norte. The quiet beach in front of the hotel is very much a plus for my husband and I. Truly relaxing. And did I already mention the amazing staff… so hard to leave here.

Awesome place… Only 12 rooms. Great staff and it's beach front.
