Cheap hotel on the outskirts of Malta, where it is really good to stay. My review I link to several points.
— Location — a bit off, but about a 5 min walk there are bus stops, you come everywhere. The journey to Valetta or the airport takes 1-1, 5 hours depending on the traffic.
The rolling supermarket is also just a few steps away and offers everything you need.
— Rooms — quiet and with a sea view. Air conditioning. Refrigerator and safe available. Maintained. Balcony available. Our balcony door rattled but with wind and had to be insulated from us with a blanket, otherwise at night too heavy noise nuisance.
— Hotel — spacious with a slightly gloomy lobby, but large restaurant and many outdoor seating areas. There is a spa area and an indoor pool as well as outdoor swimming pools. The gym could be more attentive, many devices are defective.
Outside there are many shady spots and beach chairs with parasols.
There is also a supermarket in the hotel with reasonable prices.
Note: There are about 15 well-groomed and trusting cats running around on the outer hotel grounds.
— Food — a large selection of buffets with everything you could possibly wish for. But the breakfast is very British. Delicious desserts, fresh fruit and daily variety. Super!
— Service — always friendly, but English skills should be available. Hardly anyone speaks German here. At the reception, however, there are often long waiting times, some ladies just stood around, instead of taking care of the guests…
I can recommend the Ramla Bay Resort. I felt comfortable.
