Suitable for family traveller and corporate. Nice and clean room and the restaurant near to hotel lobby. This hotel close to night market and easy to find public transport. Just less 10 minute walk to Centre Point shopping Mall and 10-12 minutes drive to Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

Location is very good, near the city center, to the seaside is also very close, room clean and comfortable, single room less than TWD 1000 a day, CP value is high.

Small room and Wi-Fi keep auto disconnected. Very terrible breakfast buffet: everyday day same fried mee, mihun, egg and rice. No sausage. Untrained and bad behavior restaurant waitress: wont smile and always show the angry face to the customers. Dont have proper style of serving and cleaning, very rude. Conclusion: we can get better hotel with the same price for example promenade and oriental hotel in KK.

Wish the reception staff can work fast. Each day, the breakfast is almost same. The smell in the hall is good. Housekeeper cleans room everyday. The location is great, easy to find restaurants, not far to Imago and Suria.

The room is so good. We ordered the superior room for threes. It was good. Many facilities which is more than expected. The view is not too bad. We got the Seaview side. The receptionist speaks well and friendly. She suggested good places to dine out and visit. Overall it was superb and clean 2. Worth it and smoke free.

Flexible place to stay. Center of city easy to find foods and malls.

Strategic location, close to the airport, to the Philippines night market and Durian night market can walk, all kinds of day tours can be shuttle, downstairs is a gourmet street, quite satisfied! The hotel service is very good, the room is very clean, the price is very high! If I had the chance to come here, I would choose here!

Budget hotel with small restaurant. There is a coin operated laundry shop nearby so that you will always have fresh clothes during your stay. The hotel is practically surrounded by eateries, the closest being an open air food court just a few steps away from the hotel entrance! This is a good place to stay, especially if you are on a budget and needed low cost rooms but safe place to stay.

Great and reasonable priced hotel if you're a solo traveller. Be aware that the room is small: enough to fit two guests but will find it a little cramp if both of you each have big luggages, otherwise, it's enough space for a solo. The room has basic amenities to get by a couple nights stay. Water dispenser (hot, warm, and cold) and ironing board is available by the elevator. Shower is hot (how I like it) and easily adjustable. Front desk staffs are friendly. The location of the hotel is almost at city center, and most of the great restaurants (thanislim's guide) are within walking distance (5-15 mins) so that's pretty awesome. Expect some noises at night during weekends, it's city center after all, so yeah. I recommend checking out this hotel for solo/business travellers.

As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, the first thing I saw was a cockroach… No fridge in the room, but they supply some bottled water. Average service. Great location. Lots of shopping areas and markets nearby, and it's close to the waterfront.

Simple yet elegant with good security system using security card at lift & room entrance. Free parking for hotel guests but quite limited since it is also open for public with certain entrance fee. The location is the main attraction of this hotel as it is located at the heart of Kota Kinabalu town centre. A lot of restaurants and food stalls available within a very short walking distance. Newly refurbished room with 100% NO SMOKING policy in the hotel premise. A fine of RM200 is charged if you were detected by hotel smoking sensor upon checking out. Size of rooms are very small and not very suitable for family plus no swimming pool here.

Check the room before you check in. Good location. But room too damn small.

My second stay here. Value for money indeed and housekeeping staff were helpful when I left my shirt in the room. They kept the shirt and I told them to courier it back to KL. They made extra effort to pack it in a plastic and a box. Arrived safely after 3 days. Thanks cititel.

Hotel quite centrally located but the rooms are small. There is a mall beside it but nothing much to buy. Very near to seafood restaurant…

Room is cosy but smaller than what I expected. For instance, there is no place for wardrobe and the study table is only 1x3 feet. Carpark is free in front of the hotel but not covered. Service can be improved. Satisfactory overall.

Super tiny single bedded room that I choose and toilet don't even having door. Only shower screen! Nevertheless very clean.

They can improve on sound proofing the rooms. The walls are quite thin. Other than that the location is good.

Economic hotel for only one night. Bedroom is good enough as well as bathroom. Lobby staffs are so kind and welcomed us. I think this hotel is good enough to passengers just arrived at the airport late night.

Its Really Beyond My Expectations. Single Room Is Small But Not Cramped Even It's Only 12m2. The Hotel Looked Aged But Room Has Been Refurbished Recently To More Modern Taste. Shower Experience Is Superb Even Better Than Many 4, 5 Star Hotel! For Short Stay n Budget Concern. Highly Recommended.

It likes its location vs rates. This will be the hotel for me to stay when I'm here for business and also if I visit KK by air/flight.

Very noisy, not because of traffic, if next room open or close toilet door, wardrobe door, entrance door, talking or what so ever next room do u will know. Really frustrated. Actually we booked for 6 nights, but cannot stand, we check out the second day. We won't stay there anymore.

Room very small, cheap, hotel location very good, on the city centre. Around a lot of character meals, the hotel is behind the Night Market, night night all night to eat.

Very small rooms but clean and tidy. Century hotel almost half the price and twice as good. A lot of lady boys outside citytel and maybe not a very safe area of town to walk at night but I've never had any problems just hassle from some lady boys for business.

I thought hotel rooms in hongkong are small. Stopover at kk and cititel hotel rooms are much smaller! Lol at least I had windows and the view was alright. Value for money I guess.
