Hotels in Coast Region with a Pool

I came here a few times about 3 years ago, my experience then was wonderful. I am not usually a repeat traveler but my first experience was too great it made me come back 3 more times.

Great welcome, serious Italian management, great staff, great place.

Very beautiful and typical village in a beautiful bay. The staff is always attentive to making you feel good. The quality of the food is excellent.

Well looked after village but I think it could still have improvements.
In 2024 you still cannot expect to have paid Wi-Fi in such facilities.

I'm a pilot and travelled the world extensively.

We had the most amazing time at Scorpio Villas and would strongly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect getaway.

Amazing location right on the beach. Stayed here twice. Jones who works there is amazing as well as Salim in the bar and Gertrude in the bar.

Excellent location, the rooms are well air conditioned, kept clean always. The food is Ok not too fussy but very fresh. The staff are soo nice, kind and very welcoming.

This was a fantastic place only issue I had was with the swimming pool it's alot smaller than the picture shows.
It's basically for cooling down.
For that reason I'll not return unfortunately.

The place is amazing. Beautiful and clean apartments. Whether you are a small group or travelling as a big family, this place is ideal. Location is central and close to the beach and the restaurants.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Safiyah. Hotel. The pool area is especially relaxing and a great place to unwind. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach.

We booked 2 nights here without reading the reviews first, after reading we were a bit nervous it wouldn't be a great experience but we were very pleasantly surprised.

The setting is very nice: good beach in front of the hotel, walking distance to town, the rooms are nice or even superb (rooms at seaside), and the owner as well as staff were extremely friendly.

Lovely place right on the beach that has a very lively bar with live music on the weekends and great seating facing the ocean — I had the calamari they were perfect.

At first, we were given a room that smelt a bit, but the staff were very friendly and allowed us to change room immediately. The restaurant serves good food.

Posted up next to the beach side. It was really scenic with a calm breeze that freshens you up. I stayed over in an Airbnb.

Our family of five (two adults, children aged 5 & 7, and a 7-month-old baby) had a fantastic holiday stay here. It was absolutely ideal for our needs.
The two bedrooms were perfect.

We visited the restaurant for lunch and enjoyed very good food (the chili crabb is phantastic) and also good service in a very nice place. The place is really recommended for its good food!

Having spent several months in Mtwapa area December to March 2026 I finally splurged a bit on this hotel and VERY glad a I did for some of my final days down on the Coast of Kenya.
