The past two days at Distant Relatives for the Coastal Roots experience felt like a perfect blend of music, community, and nature.

I'll start by saying I had a wonderful stay. With transparency, this is a basic backpackers. There are some items that are not working perfectly or under maintenance.

3 Wonderful Weeks at Tulia Backpackers!
I stayed at Tulia Backpackers for three weeks as a solo traveller on my very first trip to Mombasa, and I honestly could not have chosen a better place.

Cool place, went for drinks in the bar and hung out! Met many friendly people from all over the world.

Diani Hostel is a very tranquil place to stay. The staff is very friendly. Dominic cooks really good food too. I personally found it to be a great place to stay, value for my money.

Its a good get away place at affordable price. Its also in a very quiet area but around 20min walk to the beach.

Honestly Don't know why people complaining this is a good place to visit with family and friends and good pool access to beach and family friendly and close to wild waters for kids to go play.

I really enjoyed with my daughter. You access everything while there. I loved it 🥰😍🥰😍

Positive: good location, walking distance from the bus arrival. Walking distance to old town. We had the room to ourselfs, thats why we had a lot of space.

It's a great backpackers place and lady really nice and helpful. Rooms are big and we had a balcony very handy.

A nice friendly bar built on stilts with friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices.
It’s wonderful to see the wild bush babies coming down from the trees to be fed at 7 pm every day.

This place is amazing I advice any body to try it!
