Kijani Hotel is a beautiful blend of calm, character, and authentic island charm.

Great hotel in Shela, quiet and low key but only a few mins walk to cafes and beautiful shops. About 15 walk to great swimming spots.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

It was lovely to come back to Banana House after 14 years and find it offering the same relaxing experience I remembered.

We stayed here for 5 days, they had someone pick us from the boat that picked us from the airport, staff are friendly and I loved that they brought breakfast to our room.

What an incredible stay. Everything was done to perfection. The rooms are huge and extremely clean. If you like art this is the place to be. The check in process is swift and organized.

Majilis resort is AMAZING 🤩. From the moment I checked in I could feel the warmth of the staff starting with Eva who was soooo lovely. The landscaping and architecture of Majilis is top notch.

Shela Bahari is everything you need in Shela.
It’s at the waters edge near Peponi Hotel and you can sit in the breezy restaurant and watch the day’s events of dhow’s, donkeys and locals.

We had an unforgettable stay at Peponi Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay special.

The place and the atmosphere is amazing. Wonderful location at the beach with wonderful Village Shela just behind to go explore.
But the food is disappointing.

The place has recently been renovated and has become so beautiful and more comfortable since the last time I came the sanitation has definitely gotten better and the staff was incredibly friendly it

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Furaha House. Nyama made us feel right at home from the start and welcomed us with fresh juice and a smile.

A beautiful place and most perfect location. The beach is just 1 minute walk away. A nice rooftop terrace to chill and dine in. The room is nice and the view from the balcony is amazing.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all the budget travellers or not haha.
The house is always clean and rooms cleaned at your request.
