Nice hotel near the city center. Polite staff and pleasant interior.

The kids and I had a very nice time at the Doubletree Shymkent. We received a great room upgrade as a very loyal Hilton customer and had a very spacious room that was perfectly clean.

Excellent, clean, and warm hotel. The service is top-notch, and the rooms have everything you need! I recommend it.

Excellent hotel. Quiet, clean, newly renovated, everything works. The room has water, tea, soap, and dental kits. The mattress is firm and comfortable, and the bathroom is large with a shower.

The hotel is very good. But I have some issues with pay, because I already put my bank card in booking. Com, bit stuff tell me to pay inside hotel, it's strange because I already pay in booking. Com.

A very centrally located hotel (bus from airport stops other side of the road), absolutely massive rooms and bathroom and spotlessly clean room. The chaise lounge was a nice addition, I thought!

The location is convenient, with restaurants nearby that cater to all tastes. The hotel itself has a good halal restaurant with delicious food, clean, quiet, and cozy.

Conveniently everything is nearby. And at reasonable prices. A really great hotel.

Excellent hotel for a few days in Shymkent. There is an excellent national style Tary restaurant in the building, everything is very tasty. The rooms are good, everything is equipped.

I stayed in this hotel to live the full Turkestan experience and can only recommend it! I loved my room with harbour-view, very spacious, modern and comfortable.

The room key has caused some troubles because it stopped working after sometime. Also, the emergency exit only opens from outside but there is no warning about that.

Good alternative to Rixos.

Nice hotel, room and view from the window. Breakfast is always good. One day everything is fine, the second day it feels like yesterday’s breakfast was thrown away. The meat is weathered.

We were passing through from Uzbekistan to Almaty (we're from Almaty).
I'd like to point out the cleanliness of everything, from the carpet to the bedding – special thanks for that.

Far from the center, 20 minutes by taxi, slippers, robe had to be asked, no exhaust in the toilet, the room is large and bright, the neighbors are very well heard.

Clean and modern. The sliding doors to the capsule compartment are a bit of a nuisance, but for the price, I can't complain. I liked the hammam and the kitchen with tea and coffee.

Great hostel! Rooms and facilities are super clean. Staff very helpful. I had a comfortable night! Great value for money as a solo traveler.

The rooms were clean, and the location wasn't too far from the city center, which was a good deal. It seemed like most everything was within a 10-15 minute taxi ride.

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel was perfectly clean and equipped. No complaints whatsoever. Owner was really helpful. Also allowed hourly checkin with late checkout.

The TV didn't work, or rather it worked, but you couldn't watch it because the Internet wasn't set up for the TV. There was no power supply, even for an extra fee.

Most amazing hotel. Turkistan is a bit boring, but that is not the hotel’s fault.

I went here for the breakfast. The buffet had a huge choice, but they didn't have kazi which they had had in the past.

Rather than rushing back to the Uzbek border we decided to stay in Shymkent for one night. Dora rooms were very nice and the breakfast was impressive.
