The kids and I had a very nice time at the Doubletree Shymkent. We received a great room upgrade as a very loyal Hilton customer and had a very spacious room that was perfectly clean.

Excellent hotel. Quiet, clean, newly renovated, everything works. The room has water, tea, soap, and dental kits. The mattress is firm and comfortable, and the bathroom is large with a shower.

The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the city.

Excellent hotel for a few days in Shymkent. There is an excellent national style Tary restaurant in the building, everything is very tasty. The rooms are good, everything is equipped.

I accidentally left a folder with my travel money — hundreds of dollars — after I had to switch rooms because of the way I had made my booking.

Nice hotel, room and view from the window. Breakfast is always good. One day everything is fine, the second day it feels like yesterday’s breakfast was thrown away. The meat is weathered.

We felt very welcomed from the very first moment, especially with Mustafa showing us around and giving all the useful information for our stay.

I stayed in this hotel to live the full Turkestan experience and can only recommend it! I loved my room with harbour-view, very spacious, modern and comfortable.

The room key has caused some troubles because it stopped working after sometime. Also, the emergency exit only opens from outside but there is no warning about that.

Motorcycle safe and secure parking.
Parking on the backside of Hostel, a bit tricky to find at first.

Second night here now, but I might stay longer. It's a very well-kept hostel with helpful staff. Decor is colorful. Location is great.

The rooms were clean, and the location wasn't too far from the city center, which was a good deal. It seemed like most everything was within a 10-15 minute taxi ride.

The hotel is in a good location, close to a park and a shopping center, the staff is very polite.

The hotel coffee shop has very good original coffee. And the coffee service is very cool. There is a message or wish on the glass. And it’s interesting what you get.

Good hotel in terms of location, price and quality.

Hotel Khanaka is one of the first in Turkestan and is still relevant. Clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was impressive.

Very nice and huge rooms. Bathroom is superb and spacious. Clean and well kept. Price was also very reasonable. It is just 1.5km from city and parks.
Only point lift is between floors. No AC working.

Good hotel with good location. But I recommend that the staff should speak or understand English as a tourist in Kazakhstan The language is a big problem.

Staying at Ramada, as always, was worth remembering. The most strategically located in Symkent, it offers a fabelous view of the mountains.

The attitude of the staff and the design of the architecture directly gives an atmosphere of good mood.

The staff here are very warm and kind, and warmly received the Chinese and Malaysian couples for the global road show and test of their self-driving pure electric vehicle.

Well-managed property with comfortable and spacious rooms. The upkeep of the rooms was excellent, as the property is kept in great brand-new condition.

Everything is good, very clean, breakfasts are good, there is no alcohol in the hotel and therefore it is quiet and calm, the only downside is the roosters crowing in the mornings that don’t let you
