My wife and I had a pleasant and wonderful 12-day stay at Tokyo East Side Hotel Kaie. The hotel was impeccably clean and quiet every night.

Immediately across the street from Shiomi station in a safe neighborhood. The breakfast buffet is amazing! All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We arrived at Terminal 3 which at our time wasn’t good for the Hotel’s free shuttle bus so we took the Keikyu train line 3 stops then a very short, level and easy walk to the hotel. Super convenient.

We felt so lucky to find this hotel available after our return flight home was cancelled. The property is beautiful, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the rooms were absolutely wonderful.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping and the cleaning staff are phenomenal. Rooms were consistently spotless, and the cleaning crew truly stood out during my stay.

First time staying at Mimaru in Tokyo and we really enjoyed our stay. Our suite was plenty of space for our family of 5, with two bedrooms (one with bunk beds) and two bathrooms.

We loved the location we loved the staff. The extra activities and socket tasting were amazing.

As a first time female solo traveler I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Better signage to this building might be useful as we saw a few couples getting lost as they could not find the entrance or they went to the main hotel.

This apartment is quite big as it almost feels like home. It is situated in a quiet street and there are a few small restaurants and shops closeby.

Top stay, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Has everything you need. Full apartment, with nice view of Skytree from higher floors.

I had an amazing experience at the Lyf Shibuya Tokyo Hotel. As an American traveler, it truly felt like a home away from home feel.

We had a great time at this hotel. Kind staff, super centrally located. Rooms were very quiet (no street noise) and bed was comfortable. We would absolutely come back here.

Great stop for a layover or for the 'end of your tour need a convenient spot the day before boarding a plane' very clean, very classy, has every amenity you could ask. The room has big bath tubs!

This hotel is located near Skyliner Ueno station, so you can easily access this places from NRT airport (and vice versa).

Section L was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, and 3 "children" aged 16, 18 & 21), plus we also had a separate room for my mother in law that travelled with us. Size of our family apartment was

Very much enjoyed this hotel! Quieter area outside the city. Very close to ikebukuru station — maybe 6-7 blocks. Lawsons and 7-11 feet away.

Everything in the room was perfect! But I personally find the bed too hard and the pillows too soft.

Lovely hotel! Fantastic location right out front of Akihabara station electric town gate. Room was very comfy, I liked the big bathroom.

Pros:
Location: Excellent and very convenient for travel.

The perfect distance from ueno station, with plenty of Izakaya within a few blocks, a train station a block away. While still feeling quiet and removed from all the noise and chaos of central Ueno.

Great room. Excellent location. Highly recommended for families. We had 2x adjoining rooms — plenty of room for 3x adults and 2x children, with two toilets and two showers.

No frills, clean place, and very convenient to travel to various areas around Tokyo. Recommended if you're looking for an affordable place to stay and don't mind a shared space with fellow travellers.

Good location, clean amenities and wonderful staff. The bed were bigger than I expected and comfortable.
The nearest metro station (Tameike-sannō Staation) is just 300m away.

We love Monday Aksukabashi Akihabara! Location wise it is very convenient. Rooms are very clean, spacious and the ammenities are complete.

Had a great and comfortable stay! I got a room with 2 twin beds, which was bigger than your typical Tokyo shoebox room (APA hotels). Enough space to feel comfortable and leave your suitcases open.

Great find — would highly recommend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Gaston checked us in and checked us out and was courteous, communicated well, professional, and very helpful.

Local shops and restaurants are also interesting and with good variety.

Plenty of food options. Close to the train station and bus terminal. Airport limo arrives at the doorstep and Disney good neighbor buses to bring you to Disney land and sea.

Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya. Overall 9/10.
One of the best hotels we stayed at during the trip. Even the standard room felt spacious by Tokyo standards.

The Perfect Gateway for Tokyo Beginners – Modern, Convenient, and Iconic.
​I took a direct train from Narita Airport to Shibuya Station and reached the hotel within a 10-minute walk.

We basically only slept at night and were out all day sightseeing. The hotel is in a great spot to move in and out of tokyo. All the hosts were accommodating and very friendly.

Such incredibly helpful staff. They go above and beyond and nothing is a hassle. Clean, modern rooms. We had a family of 4 staying here and it was exactly what we needed.

Fantastic hotel, no hesitation recommending for your trip to Tokyo. We spent 4 nights here. Location is about 12 min walk from Ginza station which wasn’t bad at all. Close to Tsukiji fish market.

This hotel is outstanding! Staff takes hospitality to a high level making you feel welcome. A great start for my solo trip in Japan.

Kaminarimon Ryokan was such a fabulous place to stay. The view over the Kaminarimon Gate was amazing, especially at night when we could sit in our room and enjoy a little people-watching below.

Our family of four recently stayed at Mimaru Suites Asakusa Station in a Two-Bedroom Suite, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience.

The staff were accommodating and kind, and the room was nice. The room included air conditioning and heat, controlled by an easy remote.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is quiet but close to lots of shopping and good restaurants. The hotel was very clean!

Great spot. Great room. Great staff. Room seemed large for Tokyo. Bathroom was very nice. Amenities were great.

Fantastic hotel. Has a wonderful sento that overlooks the park. Nice big area to chill downstairs too. Nice clean aesthetic to the place.

Just got back from our second stay here with the whole crew (family of 5! ), and honestly, we love this place more every time.
But I have to shout out a major save.

Great location for someone who's done Shinjuku/Shibuya/Asakusa and is looking for somewhere a little quieter but well connected. About 15 minute walk to Ginza, and less than 5 minutes to Shimbashi.
