Cheap Hotels in Nara near Naramachi

This guest house is a great place to stay in Nara! The location is very convenient to both of the train stations and Nara park.

The host. Yoko-san is a very warm and welcoming lady, who made our stay very pleasant. It was very nice to meet her and talk with her.

The location of this hotel is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station. The room is modern and clean and fairly spacious compared to other hotels in Japan.

The owners are so kind and its perfectly located! Close to Nara Park and Nara JR station. I loved my time here. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay. We felt truly at home. The host is a very friendly lady. There is a cozy community area with a small but well equipped kitchen.

Room was bit small but cozy, esp the shower room — we managed to brush teeth and wash our face in the stand up shower instead of the tiny sink.

Great location, not far from Nara main station. Easy check in / check out. The place had everything you needed, including free washing machine / dryer.

Everything is great. But the timing is not good as it was decoration cuz bad smells.

I stayed at this hotel based on the travel agent's recommendation, as it has good internet access and is close to Kintetsu Nara Station.

We couldn't find any lockers at the Nara Station and we discovered this hotel offered luggage storage while we visited Nara Park for the day. The front desk man was very nice.

Did not sleep at the hotel, but ate at the hotel restaurant. The sukiyaki we tried was good and tasty. Ice cream for dessert was OK. Service was courteous, spoke some basic English and tried to help.

Stayed in a double room, small but fine if you’re only planning to sleep/rest. Hot shower and a comfortable bed. Slept with window open for some cool air.

Perfect everything, unfortunately I booked via yahoo Japan and for some reason I can't leave a review on that booking site, but here I can tell I loved my stay there.

Super value for money. Complete basic amenities. Room is clean, except for the aircon vent, but I really don't mind. The lady staff who checked me in was very polite and can speak English.

Typical of Japanese business hotels, it's clean, small but functional and a little musty. My room has a window that opens which helped with ventilation.

Great place but the walls are made of cardboard! Very noisy if a lot of people rented rooms, very clean, good price and the location cannot be better, great place!

I stayed here for 3 days with my partner. First, I want to say there’s nothing wrong with the place.

Our family of four stayed three nights in the large space. We had 3 x tatami rooms to ourselves plus ensuite. It was very spacious, private and a wonderful Japan experience.

Rooms are for 2 persons in bunk beds or double for couple or family. Convivial space well organised on the ground floor. The only negative point is a very tiny bathroom/ toilet.

I had a very nice stay. The location is perfect, the staff was helpful, they speak English well. The place is clean. Woke up at 5 am, went out the door, greeted by deers!

This is a type of hotel that is a renovated apartment room.
There is no manager, and each room has a PIN code door lock, and you enter the PIN code sent to you the day before.

I didn't manage to get to the accommodation due to the private situation, yet the host was big hearted person and accepted my request to cancel my reservation in 2 days notice without putting

Nice friendly owner. Very simple place with capsule style wooden bunk beds. Good place to meet fellow travellers! We could leave our bags near reception after checkout, whilst we explored Nara.
