Shikoku SPA hotels

A ryokan style hotel on the mountainside overlooking Takamatsu. It’s a beautiful location.

We had the most wonderful private dining experience in our room. I’d like to commend our server, Maki, who was a paragon of compassion, kindness, wisdom and professionalism. She made our evening.

Really attentive service, the room was wonderful and the food was great. Good location. Highly recommend if you want something a bit luxurious.

This is the heart of the city.
It stands out and is the first thing you see of Imabari coming from the Shiminami Kaido.

We stayed here as part of a tour group for one night.
The room was a nice size for Japan, the shower was excellent.
The WiFI was reliable. The hotel has a nice bar on a higher floor.

This hotel is in a great location, especially to the train station and shops. The concierge gave a professional and friendly welcome.

Good points.
It's clean, free parking, hot springs, welcome drinks, a wide variety of pillows, and breakfast included at a low price. You can watch youtube etc.
What I was curious about.

A total of 5 people, 3 adults and 2 elementary school students, stayed in a ``connecting room'' where two rooms were connected.

Their restaurant has fish fried hamburgers and they're so nice.

They have pick up and off service from/to Niugawa station even though the time is limited.

Totally enjoyed this hotel. Loved their use of wood everywhere and I mean everywhere. Even bathroom cabinets and shelves all made of wood. Located next to canal lined with cherry blossom trees.

Nikko ran this hotel until recently, when Hoshino Resort took over and became OMO7.

They accept tattoos. I think if you demonstrate that you are friendly and respectful they are happy to help.
The staff are brilliant and very flexible to accept me as I have large tattoos.

Very nice staff and not a lot of people coming in and out so it was very easy to relax.

I booked a room with 4 futons, for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. However, upon arrival, they only prepared 2 sets of futons.

Overall we enjoyed our two nights here. There are some things to consider though. It's not in Kochi but some way down the coast and not very near a train station.

Naoshima Ryokan Roka was such a special experience and stay for us while visiting Naoshima Island. The staff was so kind, welcoming and attentive during our stay.

I can’t even begin to tell you what a wonderful place this ryokan is. From the moment of booking to our pick up they accommodated our every need.

I stayed here for about a week for work sometime in October last year. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, I was pleased with the service here.

They couldn’t find our reservation when we arrived but we were given the same price that we had reserved it at. It was a good place to stay for one night and across from a supermarket.

This resort hotel reminded me of the facilities that I saw from old Japanese movies, but in a good way. Cozy and Classic. Their service was very attentive and warm.

Big hotel with very friendly staff. Room are traditional with tatami layout when you arrive, after diner the futonmatres is prepared.

Nice staff, clean and large rooms. But it was HOT. Only heavy down blankets — no light summer blankest. But otherwise fine. Dinner was at a hotel down the street.

It was a pleasant stay! The room was spacious. The staffs were really friendly. Dinner and Breakfast were tasty. It is only 5 minutes walk from Otsuka Museum.

Yamatoya Besso is the address if you want to stay at a traditional Ryokan! Close to Dogo Onsen and a shopping street the location is unbeatable.

With views of famous Dogo Onsen, this traditional Matsuyama ryokan is centrally located yet also feels private.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful valley. Great food and the service is top rated as expected of Japan hospitality. The hotel was under renovation but we were not inconvience in anyway.

Perfection. The only word that comes to mind when describing Iya Onsen. We arrived road weary after a long day of travel, and this place is beyond rejuvenating — it's magical!

Very comfortable hotel. The dinner & hot springs were very nice. 琴之音 hot spring was very special indeed. Shops and nearby tourist spot information were also available.

The day after I stayed at this hotel, I was heading to Dewa Island, so I stayed at this inn near Mugi Port.
It's a compact inn with only 3 floors, but all rooms have ocean views.

A municipal facility located in Kaiyo Town, the southernmost part of Tokushima Prefecture.
The equipment is old, but well managed.

The staff in this small hotel are pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet but the breakfast was disappointing with little choice for western guests.
