The perfect stay! Bed was incredibly comfy, breakfast was full of choices, the house immaculately clean, and Diego was an excellent host. It's a 20 min walk to the train station, which may sound long, but it's a relief to escape the busy city center and get some peace and quiet, plus it allows you to explore other neighborhoods and attractions outside of the main hub. Bus stops are very convenient, and a taxi from the station is about €8-9. Felt 100% safe walking alone at night as a female, so I'd happily recommend for female travellers. Absolutely my first choice for accommodation in Firenze!

I was there for two nights with my girlfriend in August, Diego was a really nice host, always smiling!
The place is good too, well decorated, I felt like I was in a noble house aha.
Special point for the "mosquito net" (no idea for the english word :/) on the room windows.
The breakfast was very complete and well presented.
Diego was really arranging the last day with our luggage and it saved us.
I strongly recommend!
Only downside I could note is the close presence of a train road wich can be heard quite loud during the day.
Only during the day, we did not heard train at night, even with the windows opened.
