Quaint, Venetian-style hotel, very friendly staff, great Wi-Fi. THE bed in the room could be better, as the double was nothing but 2 beds joined however at the very unsettled. Enough breakfast. Overall good value for money!

Don't stay here. Rooms very small, bed small and uncomfortable and staff rude. Booked by our travel agent who obviously didn't research. We didn't feel comfortable approaching staff with concerns as witnessed loud arguments between staff and customers when customers unhappy. Read other reviews and hotel response is always argumentative about negative feedback. Good hotels try and improve when negative feedback received however this place justifies, argues and blames everyone else. Much better available.

Very good stay at this place for 5 nights. Very good reception, comfortable room, hotel well located in Venice. To recommend without hesitation.

Depandance Mirandolina, very clean and suitable for family who wants to stay in Venice for a night or more. Very small room.

Hotel Clean The rooms are very small, especially the bathrooms, unlike many hotels on Venice, here The breakfast is not at will. The rooms are too little conditionned, but the setting is pleasant.

Staff very friendly, arranging and speaking well French always someone at the reception no matter what time!

To exclude in my return to Venice that is beautiful, but hotel that the three stars do not know how I had them, kindness and courtesy non-existent (maybe they are the Venetians made so) a reservation made by a couple and you make them find 3 beds, only on the third day I was made the gift of Valentine putting sheets and blankets for a bathroom that only those who have a nice lean silhouette can sit on the WC, but what to say I found better in the B&B.

There weren't condiments on the table. No batteries in the remote & the rooms were never cleaned. The staff was brilliant!

Small hotel in Venice in a very friendly area and very frequented by the students. Typical Venetian décor with Murano glass chandeliers for example, but very old fashioned… It gives him a certain charm. All rooms are on the floor so inaccessible to people in wheelchairs or having difficulty climbing stairs.
The insulation is not very good.
The breakfast included according to the formula is correct but very basic (you have to pay for things more consistent, type egg)
Little bit on the maintenance, we had a room for 1 week and the floor was not often made…
Very nice staff speaking several languages including French.
Finally, the hotel has a free deposit service.

I slept there 4 nights and I left with an atrocious back pain!

20 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge, in a good area of Venice not super tourist. Nearby there are several restaurants that are not bad.

Stayed in the Appart-suite for three nights. Only positive note is the area where the hotel is located. Too dirty and poorly cared for. 3 nights and not even a room cleaning with linen change. Not.

The room that we got was pretty small and dated. The closet hinges made so much noise as if they were installed when Venice was built. Bed was very noisy as well. Just flipping from one side to another made a lot of noise. The bathroom was surprisingly large and nice. Staff is super polite and speaks English very well.

We booked this place partly for the air conditioning they advertised. We arrived in late September, and our room was over 90 F degrees, and humid. We were told that the air conditioning was turned off for the season and "it's very complicated" to turn it on. We were forced to open the small window (no screens) and get eaten alive by mosquitoes for three awful nights. We made the best of it, but this hotel is NOT 3-stars, and should be ashamed of charging $180 Euros per night for such awful conditions.

Actually no star rate for this hotel. Disatey disaster only disatey! Lady at reception such a rude and arrogant no manner at all. Knowingly gave water lickage room didn't chnage on our request. And spoil our 3 days holidays and our bags wer wet still she didn't care about it. Room was in bad condition not clean at all in 3 days. Basically plz don't waste your money in this hotel. They don't care about people … And u have to carry ur luggage on 2 floor without lift no hand request nothing … Such a horrible place! And lady if possible leran manner before people entering to ur hotel. U bitch!

Air condition did not work for 3 days of our stay, water was leaking in our room and they sent mechanic who was fixing while we were in the room. On top the lady was so arrogant at the reception. Would not recommend this Hotel. Breakfast is average.

Good price/performance ratio. Hotel in the years come, could certainly also cleaner be orderntlich but overall, well connected to the city, just a short walk to the pier and St. Mark's square. Breakfast with bread, jam, cereal, coffee, juice and sausage and cheese in order. Very friendly service. To be recommended for a city trip.

We stayed in Hotel Pantalon in July 2009 and found it to be an excellent little home away from home. Although the room was quite small (especially the tiny bathroom), it was very clean and cosy and the airconditioning worked perfectly (rather a treat in Italy). The breakfast buffet was all in all quite "un-Italian" with choices of bread and pastries, cereals, dairy and fruit. A pity, though, that the hotel charged up to 3 euros for an egg (boiled, scrambled, suny-side-up)! A little inconvenience is the lack of an elevator. The location of the hotel is suberb! Right in the centre of Venice, next to the student quarters and very easily accessable with the well know public transport "vaporetto". During our stay, major road — en sewerworks were being carried out, but this did not caused us any trouble. As Venice is a place to be, Hotel Pantalon is that as well.
