Wonderful place. The very friendly people, always willing to help and waiting for me when I arrive. Very easy access arriving at the Ca d'Oro vaporetto station. Mrs. Luisa, owner of the place, a charm. He advised me for tours I would never have discovered without your help. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, superior. Drinks and rich little items are always available as an invitation during the day. The area very safe and surrounded by places to eat with prices for all pockets. A perfect super market in front. Don't hesitate. I left wondering when I'll be back, this time for at least a week. Congratulations to Luisa and her staff.

Diego and the other personnel at front desk and breakfast were so courteous, helpful and patient with us. They went into great and patient understanding detail in directing us to various places of interest and what water bus and stops to take! The room was comfortable and clean. Thank you so much!

Great rooms that are extremely spacious and modern. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful as well. The only issue is Wi-Fi connectivity, it's very spotty in the room, but works well in the lobby.

Wonderful hospitality! We had some issues with flights and came in really late. The staff met us at the waterside entrance and not only gave us no fuss, he was even happy to see us. The Italian breakfast was wonderful and the room was very nice.

This was the best hotel I stayed in Italy! The room was gorgeous and the location was great. But to me the most important thing was the excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to made us feel comfortable and get us everything we needed. I haven’t had this level of customer service in a while. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel a lot!

Good standard boutique hotel. Well positioned. Friendly & helpful staffs. Restaurants/ shops/ bars/ gondola at within 100 meters. Negative: need to climb stairs & if you have heavy luggages then you will have to seek for the front desk support. 20 minutes walk from bus/ train station. It is a challenge if you have heavy luggage. Room are noisy as it is nearby a main street. The breakfast is poor. The room fixtures/ furnitures/ curtains are used/ old/ not working properly.

The Hotel **** is not easily to find. Then it goes up a few levels. But above everything is fine :) A friendly welcome with coffee and cake. A very nice room (#204), a good and quiet night's sleep. A super nice Breakfast. Small, very nice and really recommendable!

This hotel is really well placed. The staff is in the small care: it does everything to make you service and make you happy. The breakfast is delicious — (especially the cake of the day with cream and almonds). We stayed in May 2017 and we keep a wonderful memory. A great vacation. Do not hesitate.

A good structure, in a great location from which you can easily reach all the places of interest of Venice. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms and services. Of course some rooms enjoy a better location than the others. I'il be back frothing pleasure.

BED BUGS! CIMICI! トコジラミ! 臭虫!
Our room was infested with both adult and nymph (baby) bed bugs! For both adult and nymph to exist, the infestation has existed for a minimum of two weeks. The hotel staff originally lied to us and said a dog had brought in the bed bugs with a previous guest, but then admitted they had known of a previous infestation when we challenged them. Previous reviews on TripAdvisor show this hotel has been infested with bed bugs since May 2017 but they are still renting rooms! Had to fight with staff and the manager over the phone after our stay as they still wanted payment (we did not pay them anything in the end). We spent the final day of vacation in hospital getting steroid shots and antihistamine shots as my partner was was bitten so badly — the nurses in the hospital had never seen anything so bad, and had never seen anyone with as many bites from only one night's exposure. Do not stay here!

Everything here was amazing. What a totally lovely hotel in central Venezia. Family of 4 stayed for 3 nights, service was amazing and hotel very charming.

Fantastic room, location, and proprietors!

Absolutely made my first visit to Venice so complete and memorable. Even if I stayed here by myself, it was comfortable, and very accommodating considering I arrived very late in the night. Starting your day in that breakfast venue was just right and the overall design of the place was just classic yet updated with modern touches. Truly one for my travel books!

Decent price for a decent room in a very central location. Breakfast buffet was ample and the staff were very friendly. Downside was a plague of mosquitos in the room at night.

Refined place in the heart of Cannaregio, only 10 minutes walk from the station, well served by public transport.

This boutique hotel has a superb location, it is centrally located. Going to the major attractions is a short stroll (~15 mins) away. The room is clean and I happen to got a room partially facing a small canal. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent for a boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

Would like to thank Luisa, Fabio and Staff at Ca'Gottardi for a great stay at their hotel. We traveled as a family of 4 (Three adults and 1 teenager). The hotel was great in upgrading us to their suite. The breakfast was great and the hotel breakfast area was a great area to relax anytime during the day once you finished your sightseeing around Venice. The staff provided you valuable feedback on where to visit and maximize your travels within Venice. Will stay again at Ca'Gottardi when I visit the most beautiful city in the World.

Cà Gottardi is located in Cannaregio 2283, the hotel is furnished in classic Venetian style with Brocade curtains and upholstery fabric, the staff are very friendly and helpful, prompt service, shame about the price but on the internet you will find some great deals. Hotel highly recommended!

For years I go to Venice to Casino and film festival. My last stay at Ca ' Garvin was the best!

Nice place, clean and with great host. The palace is quite close to the train station (10 min walking) and very close to the touristic centre (5 minutes walking). Nice breakfast and free aperitifs.

Impeccable hospitality but at the same time in hand, right advice for visiting Venice from staff, very courteous. Elegant — new, great attention to detail with an excellent position. Breakfast was fine. I highly recommend it.

This hotel was everything we could want! from the made to order coffee and espresso to the staff and their friendly way of making sure everything is going well. it is off the beaten path as far as Venice goes but not far from anything. 10 to 12 minute walk to Saint Marks. the beds are very comfortable the hotel is very beautiful inside. Very clean too! 5 star feel for 3.5 star price by Venice standards.

Diego and the young team are absolutely friendly and very professional.
A buffet breakfast for everyone (even gluten free) and snack is served in a beautiful room where we're comfortably sitting on chairs in Velvet (super to continue dozing).
Room and bedding clean and comfortable and very soft bath lingerie.
The hotel is very well placed between the station (20' on foot and 'only' 4 bridges! ) and main attractions (Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco).
Wi-Fi and a free PC.
I signed with eyes closed next time;).

We had a very happy six nights here entirely due to the obliging, perfect English-speaking staff. It is also in an excellent location-less crowded than parts of Venice but with an outstanding museum only a couple of minutes away and very conveniet for the water bus. Breakfast was delicious-especially the brown rolls and butter. The fact that free tea and biscuits were always available was a real plus-ditto free Wi-Fi and bottled water.

We loved staying here! There are not a lot of boutique hotels on offer in Venice. After much research we found this little gem — it looked great and was so well priced compared to similar establishments. One cannot help but appreciate the dedication to interior decoration and design at the Ca Gottardi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room and ensuite were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast on offer could use some improvement however — the watermelon seemed to have been broken apart instead of cut, how about warm bread rolls instead of cake? Freshly cut ham/salami instead prepackaged cheese and ham slices? Fresh oranges instead of canned pineapple? Once the breakfast buffet is sorted, this place would be PERFECT.

Excellent boutique hotel with a great service and conveninetly located. OK you are not next to Piazza San Marco but there are plenty of activities close by and in a 10 minutes walk you'll be there. The decoration is very nice and people is really friendly. The only minus are that rookms are a bit small adn t¡some of them do not have the best of views. Just next door you have a great bar in which you can alaso eat a really fres fish at a fraction of what you'll pay at the more hip places or in one of those tourist joints next ton Rialto. Highly recommended.
