Even before you arrive you can feel the magical atmosphere of the structure. I had the pleasure of talking on the phone with a man really nice and super helpful, the personification of professionalism and passion and dedication to their work. Whatever your desire for them will be an order and where possible (but do not add anything) they know how to surprise you! With me, they succeeded big time! The place, although not yet seen it live will be great because the bases are excellent … with management so behind a place like this can go well beyond expectations! STRACONSIGLIATO!

Our experience at the Canal Regio hotel has been horrible. When we were assigned the room smelled of sewer and the conditions of it were not the most suitable for a 3 star hotel. Although to top it off the day, we had to shower with cold water my husband and I because no one informed us that we had to open the faucet and wait about 10 minutes to get hot water. So I don't advise anyone to come to this hotel because I think q doesn't even cover the minimums. Greetings.

We had a fantastic stay here last week for my husbands birthday. It was our first time to Venice and Marco was great at arranging a late check in for us and provided fantastic video with directions to the hotel on here. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to Rialto Bridge and San Marco and the train station. The room and bathroom was lovely & clean with great views of the canal. We would defiantly recommend stopping here and hope to be back again! Thank you Marco and team.

Nice and clean room, high quality furniture toilet with bathtub, access to a small back yard which is good for relax, not all room which has view to the canal, overal best value of money.

Beautiful place. Excellent location. Very nicely decorated and nice attention to details. Although the shower could have done with a little tllc. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Little gem.

UNSAFE! Our room was unfinished, with a hole in wall, kitchen that didn't have a tap, a second toilet as small as an airplane bathroom, and the shower had a toilet inside the shower cubicle — with a moldy toilet brush that got soaked when you turned the shower on — which you bathed in. The power points were out side of the rotten WOODEN shower door which didn't close due to swelling with moisture and the live power points were at ground level with water splashing on them which we had to cover with towels! We made effort to resolve issues with reception the following morning. We were advised the unit was still being renovated but bathroom was "as is". We asked why we paid top pricing, and were told there was nothing they were willing to do about this. Reception staff walked away after we advised of our experience. 2 weeks later, we emailed reception about our experience and sent pictures of our bathroom requesting full or at least partial refund. 3 months later still no response.

The new half of the hotel is beautiful, but we stayed in the older side, so the pics set expectations higher. Just needs a bit more love and a deep clean around bath tub… oh and it needs windows. But not terrible. If you're going to be exploring all day and literally just sleep there like we did its perfect.

The lamps fell out and dangled on the wires, there is no kettle, the lamp in the bedroom is small and near the wall. Under the window tables with ashtrays, everything in the window goes (

The bed is extremely uncomfortable and very low to the ground. The door is hard to open and close and the location is tucked away from the water. Receptionist was very friendly, however getting all the information you need is difficult. There is no receptionist available after 6 pm if you need assistance. You must pay taxes in cash, separate from the room rate. This room is large but very uncomfortable and a long way from the train station. You must take a water taxi for $70 euro, and they only accept cash.

Friendly good location very clean and modern very basic but have all you need anyone who moans about this hotel for the price is crazy had a lovely time here.

Unfortunate. There is No TV if they offer and you can not stand the smell inside the room.

Very comfortable and spacious room. We have a family on 2 floors, clean and warm. For now all very agreeable.

All in all we were fine. Venice and wonderful. We had a great holiday.

Very happy with this hotel! We arrived late in the evening. A word was waiting for us in English to tell us the number of our room and give us the password Wi-Fi… this word was accompanied by the keys and the card. The place is very quiet. We had a spacious room with a nice bathroom and a terrace (convenient for smokers! ). Making it very hot at that time, we took great advantage of the air conditioning available in our room. Very friendly staff. Marco the manager of the hotel knows how to speak a little French which made the conversation less difficult. The day we had to leave he offered to leave our suitcases at the hotel to avoid having to transport them all over the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotels in great location to reach the best places and views of Venice. Nice and clean rooms. Maximum flexibility with regard to late-night return times. Definitely.

Hotel hard to find in a small alley. Room quite correct question quality / price identical to the photos. Nice neighborhood close to the center.

The room was clean but nothing works as it should. Both room and bathroom doors would not latch, heating is either too hot or cold, both the shower and bathroom sink leaked. The toilet is constantly refilling. Simple things to fix that would show the owners care. The key is attached to a 1kg weight so bring a backpack when you go for dinner. Reception are there till 5, but we didn't find them that good to deal with anyway. The after hours secure entry system doesn't get answered when you buzz, so just push the electric door open and you'll save yourself the hassle. This place is one of the downfalls of our stay in Venice. Would not recommend to a friend.

Very relaxed everything. If you arrive outside opening hours, leave you a key and your name on a sheet. I loved that are not structured.

Very nice place, comfortable, central and clean. Comfortable rooms, … the reception is very casual. You arrive out of time and mandate to the reception. You will find a greeting sheet to your name with the keys, and the other day you make a checking… Funny… Deficiency. TV service… it's very good if you don't like formality…

Experience not to be repeated. I can't find the hotel and phone at the reservation number. I answer a NON-EU who does not know me give information and tells me to call the following morning. I do note that I booked for 3 nights and he interrupts the Communication. After struggling we can find the Hotel. The room has a window on the access courtyard and I can't open the windows because without Privacy. The wardrobe is non-existent, the bathroom has a high non-signaled step, broken toilet, part of the shower cubicle missing, not even a shelf in the shower to store bubble bath. The phone of the shower that does not stand in the nozzle and the air Exchange m/s fan that makes an unbearable noise. I ask to be able to speak with a manager, but for two days I see occasionally two guys who do the Sinhalese cleaning. No one at the front desk and to get in and out of the facility I have to intercom several times to get Open. Very poor breakfast and for 3 mornings without Teaspoons. On the day of departure, after having paid the tourist tax, I present with an Italian man my dissatisfaction with the Structure. It tells me that I booked as a guest house and that that is not a hotel. I think That's enough. Euro 450, 00 for 3 nights and a real piece of crap.

Good evening we come back from this hotel, shabby nothing to do with the photos, we found parked in a room with a toilet and a washbasin style camping car, moissi, smell of stale and another room next to it with an old sofa, furniture, and a toilet with a shower in the same room style camping car, finally shabby from shabby, breakfast than industrial heated, shame, smell of sewer N go there not.

Hotel shabby, it stinks, breakfast, industrial, we were staying next to the hotel in a room with kitchen furniture, there are all the stocks of the hotel, the sheets bed the room a smell of rotten enclosed, no heating, I put the towel warmer to the bottom, the shower with WC style camping car and in the other room WC with a small sink is shabby we got rolled, it's great no matter what not go, this morning 2 couples D English were in great discussion with the Serv EUR big problem I think you'll never find anyone at the hotel.

Good location, about 10 mins from one of those ferry stops. Room is relatively smaller than expected, but rate was reasonable when I booked.

Very disappointed! No safety! No one at the reception! We were standing outside ringing the bell over and over no one to open the door we had to open it ourselves (so the door is open 24hours). Staff very Inexperienced!
On our arrival I was so thirsty I've asked the girl at the reception for a glass or bottle of water she refused without giving me an explanation (if there is a reason to refuse water to a client)
Well… We won't choose this hotel again for sure!

Worse hotel. Not recommended. Bad service. Rooms nothing like the photos on the web.

Great room next to the canal. Can be very noisy at night with boats going past. Our room was number 3 and you can hear everyone having breakfast in the morning. Location was Ok. We didn't feel safe leaving our key at reception when we left the premises, especially with the front security door always being open.

Still under renovations. Wifi is so bad u have to be in the lobby to get a connection which still drops out. Simple breakfast which is only available during 8.30 to 10.30. Has huge potential to be amazing.

Centrally located in Venice, to a pair of bridges of the bridge of Rialto. If carry gps, best, as to find it there is that enter by streets very narrow that seems that not give to nothing. Very good, well equipped rooms. There is no cafeteria in the hotel. Nearby there are pastry shops, supermarket, cafes without end.

I was already a few times in Venice, have stayed in hotels that were not so clean like this. Rooms are clean, modern furnishings. The staff friendly u the patio is small but very nice.
It's just hard to find the directions could be facilitated. A note would be very necessary especially shortly before the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights. Over priced, difficult to locate, as the name resembles the region, becomes difficult for people to guide you where you are heading. Booked this hotel as we wanted to experience Venice as the locals and stay on the island. The opposite building is under construction causing up a lot of mess in getting to the hotel during day time. Also, they had an issue with the Sewage for all the days, were welcomed with a very bad stinking odour whenever we entered the hotel. Room was small and with no windows although all the images were for room with windows. Breakfast was plain and cold. They always started a bit late with the breakfast around 8:30. Overall not worth it at all.

Ok place to stay, but this is Venice and I would expect more. Room was ok size, the Wi-Fi only worked in the bathroom which was a great inconvenience unless you had constipation. The room smelt of cleaning chemicals. Over all thou it was OK for the price. PS, reception is not 24hrs so if you arrive late your not getting into your room.

Hard to find attention because not indicated. In the Strada Nova, take the small switch located on the corner of the Wild Wide West, 1st right then 1st left. Recommend.

Good, sea view room. Boats from the water outside the window and can greet them, very happy.
Hotel front desk spoke English, very rare.
Boil water to drink found scale badly, outside for visitors to drink water out of the water than it is clear a lot!
Four of them lived in a penthouse floor, beds and tables and chairs placed very unscientific, room was very crowded …

We stayed here for 3 nights when visiting Venice. The room was small, but clean and the large windows opened up and the Canal was right outside our window. It was a very nice place to say right off the Grand Canal were all the water shuttles are. There were also plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. We will stay here again.

From the site and from what seemed like a very nice place. Live is anything but. What you saw in photos has nothing unfortunately. I had to spend the night of marriage and date my nice suit from the hotel to board the speedboat and access to the channel was in pitiful condition, also the way leading to the channel was undergoing renovations, and then Earth and mud. They knew about it and when I pointed out said they would put a plank of wood on the ground to let me pass over: ( ( (bad service and safety of child-proof rooms. Unfortunately my negative judgment.

From the point of view, of course. Over Booking the reservation, change of hotel on the second day (rifai suitcases, unmount all), leaky bathtub, supra TV without any channel. Especially no reception from 20 onwards (all you control via web-cam, the face to face three-star safety, pay the staff for 1 property and handle 3). If we want to talk about the site presnetazione, which talks about 12:00 am Concierge (fake), splendid breakfast (false, automatic machine without coins! ) Especially a Director who surrenders himself and even shows up, shame.
I'll put more foot, and the same advice I turn to anyone who gets fooled by the beautiful featured image, the reality is very different.
