SPA Hotels in Basilicata

Excellent welcome, delicious dinner and excellent taste, a remarkably positive judgment is to be given to Antonio the manager of the restaurant.

Cleanliness, courtesy, excellent quality food … we had a great time!
We will definitely be back!

Wow, what a gem!
This place is the definition of a perfect home away from home.

Loved our stay at this very comfortable and clean suite to stay in Matera. Our room had nice little balcony with a view of the old city. Large and spacious bedroom, bathroom and sitting room.

Dimora di Chiara is a special place that add value to your entire experience of Matera.
I’ve rented 2 suites, and both were incredible — very spacious with design furniture and unique style.

The only negative about this place was the difficulty in locating and walking to it.
Accommodations were special.
Great room. Private balcony where we stayed and other terraces for the whole property.

Stay in the heart of the Sassi with an exclusive terrace and spectacular views. The room was also excellent, spacious and functional. The shared kitchen where you can make a coffee is very useful.

If there was anything better than the beautiful location it’s the family and staff that hosted us. Delicious and authentic homemade food (with gluten free options!

We did not stay at the Locanda, but went for lunch when we were staying at a hotel in Morano Calabro.

Structure located in the historic center equipped with every comfort including swimming pool and spa (even if we did not use them).

Welcoming and clean structure, friendly and competent staff.

We stayed 3 days in this beautiful hotel: clean, courteous staff, great cuisine. Very attentive to meet our requests and the culinary needs of our children.

Beautiful experience, great for kids!
Eaten great and friendly and helpful staff!

We have just had a truly lovely stay at the Villa Cheta. First and foremost, the staff are the best. Professional and efficient but also warm and welcoming. They treat the guests like family.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was reasonably spacious with great sea views. Excellent and attentive service. Everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Quaint is the best way to define this domicile in Matera.

The staff were delightful—friendly, helpful, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The hotel is simply amazing in a fantastic location in Caveoso Sassi, right on the main street.

We stayed here for 3 nights & would definitely stay again. A very spacious room & a great location for exploring Matera make this an ideal hotel.

I recommend it for the magical location surrounded by nature, also for the excellent food and courtesy of the staff, but the degradation of the rooms leaves you speechless.

We stayed in the suite with the sauna inside and the access to a fabulous terrace, it was an incredible stay!

Excellent stay with a perfect location. The apartment was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was professional, responsive, and provided great local recommendations.

My husband and I stayed a few days ago… found by chance!
A spectacular environment to say the least. A mix of history and modernity.
Our room was very original high bed Materano.

Very clean house, with attention to detail and with everything you need (even more), welcome kit for each guest.

The host is very hospitable and offered me some great help, the room is very clean and feel like at home. It's 10 mins away from Matera landmarks on foot. Really recommend it!

This hotel is one of the most unique and special places I’ve ever been. The room was incredible, 10/10 big, comfortable, amazing bath, and super special view.

What a fabulous place. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, giving the best recommendations for dinner. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious.

Overall, we had a great stay. The location is excellent, the room is comfortable and well-maintained, and the host is very friendly and helpful.

Miriam is an excellent host. The location is also perfect — a few minutes walk from the Matera Sassi.

Absolutely beautiful room, in the middle of the most beautiful old city I have ever seen. So comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Excellent decorated rooms inside the old city of Matera. Builded above an old cistern totally accessible by a ladder. The owners where very kind and helpful.

Nicest stay of our trip! great communication with our host and great location in Matera. Nicely furnished and homey feeling.

Piazza Mulino 26 is in a very good location especially when you just have a few days in Matera. It is close by most the essentials: the Sassi is just some meters away, good restaurants, and cafes.

Michele is an exceptional host! Friendly, professional, reliable, he always smile and welcome you like no others! Our room was stunning and the breakfast was really yummy!

Very friendly staff… very clean… in a great position… Very nice.

The structure is new, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The area is very quiet especially at night there is no casino, the parking is practically in front of the B&B!

Excellent facility, spotless and professionally managed.
Highly recommended.
