Absolutely incredible stay at Corte San Pietro! From the moment we arrived we fell in love, from the wonderful friendly, helpful service and staff. The cave room was unbelievable!

Wow! What an experience! How fun and different and…you just have to come to experience it. It was so fun. The “pool”, which was in the basement basically, is my nothing short of dreamy.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Thymus Residence nei Sassi in May. The experience starts with them helping us arrange parking outside of old town and a shuttle to the hotel.

Lovely place, well located in the Sassi. Wonderful proprietors, and the included breakfast is excellent. It’s a cave room, so no views, but well appointed.

Our experience at this hotel absolutely made our trip. The staff is so kind and helpful, the grounds are gorgeous, the amenities were luxurious and the views unbeatable.

We recently spent three nights here. Our room was absolutely incredible. Huge and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pampering.

This is a lovely hotel. We had a room with a terrace with spectacular views.
The restaurant was shut, which was a surprise on arrival. So no bar etc to relax as well as no tea or coffee in the room.

Cozy new residence with all the comforts… 20 meters from the historic center… the owner signs.

We loved experiencing a night in the Sassi. Our room was large, cosy, beautifully renovated with a very authentic feel.

TO BE RECOMMENDED! It started with a very nice welcome. Booked the King's room and it is simply amazing as the room is completely in the cave, very spacious with a bathtub.

In February we did a Puglia/Matera tour but this b&b was definitely the best we found. Very nice and warm accommodation, abundant breakfast… not even soy milk was missing.

Excellently equipped and furnished structure just a few minutes walk from the Sassi and the center of Matera. Convenient paid covered parking (€10.00 ×24h) or free, 10 minutes walk away.

I stayed in the lovely Room The house has been beautifully renovated. The hotel is perfectly located right beside the Via Fiorentini and they even suggested a convenient interior parking for my car.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful place and we can absolutely recommend staying there. Small but perfect breakfast also included. We loved steying there!

A lovely hotel in a pleasant location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff; efficient front desk. Cool bedroom with a high ceiling. Hotel has its own car park.

Wonderful hotel in a slightly difficult place to access, having said that most hotels in the old town are tricky to access.

Absolutely loved this part of Italy! Stayed in a cute little cave next to the cliff! View was amazing! Staff was so kind! Even tried the couples massage which was very relaxing!
