I was really disappointed. Firstly: When I arrived I asked to pay upfront. Prior to paying for the room I said we would like to get Breakfast in the morning. I was told that as I was checking in, I could not avail of the bed and Breakfast rate that I had to pay for Breakfast as stand alone payment. I had not made any payment at this point, there was no good reason for me not getting the B&B rate. I would understand if it was the morning after check in. I was told about the reduced price the at time of booking over the phone, but why it couldn't be changed at time of check in I don't understand, as it's not like I was looking for an alternative room!. Secondly: I was checking in with a baby I asked for assistance carrying in travel cot and baby bag. Despite asking, no help was forth coming. I had to make 3 journeys (with baby in one arm) in and out to the car, which was parked 200mtrs down the street as there is no onsite parking. Thirdly: No Room service in the hotel. (Couldn't pop down to Restaurant with Baby asleep in room). Fourthly: When my wife joined us, she popped down to restaurant to grab some food around 8.10pm ordered a Beef Stir Fry which was poorly cooked and off which she left most of on the plate. Fifthly: The next morning after paying €13.50 for breakfast each we were expecting a freshly cooked breakfast, instead it was buffet style, no great problem, but the scrambled egg was watery and looked more like soup and the sausages were not cooked. The only saving grace were the lovely waiting team there in the morning. I would have great praise for Abdul who was charming and engaging. I genuinely have never written a bad review before, I am just very disappointed as from the outside the hotel had always looked lovely from the outside.
