Thankyou for a wonderful stay the staff were amazing it was my mams birthday and they came out with a little candle lit dessert and sang happy birthday to her, one staff member in particular could not do enough for us his name is masum he is a really lovely respectfull guy and so pleasant give him a bonus ☺ he deserves it he was doing a lot of work this weekend looking after the everyone and making sure people where adhering to the safety guidelines. Thankyou for a brilliant time and room was fantastic x.

We love the GreenIsle hotel for family stays or just myself and my husband get away. Its close to everything airport zoo city but out of town away from hustle and bustle. Food is great staff are lovely and very helpful. It has pool and a gym what more can you ask for.

Got a lovely sunday carvery here today in these strange times it was great not to have to cook for a change 100 percent fab as uasel only difference had to eat it in my own kitchen great idea to get a take out carvery I will defo b ordering again.

They took a booking off my son he needed it for work and when he got there they refused to allow him stay because he wasn't medical staff or a doctor he works in security I think with what's going on with corona virus he should have been allowed or at least told that when he was booking it.

Great staff have a nice time staying there for the 39th all ireland rings.

Disgraceful place to stay have to sit in the lobby after 9 if you have a child after 9 also the bar is over 21’s. Staff are very rude and unprofessional.

Was there for a meeting and found the staff very friendly and helpful and had a beautiful meal in their restaurant. Will definitely return in the future.

Refused check in on my prebooked room as I only had a debit card and not a credit card. We’ve staying here PLENTY of times, in the last year alone and this has never happened. There was a few other couples waiting around reception as same thing happened. Apparently they want €100 deposit and it must be paid via credit card if you don’t have a credit card you’re stranded end of story. When the manager came down his response to me was ‘i Only work here’? Absolute disgrace, I will never stay here again and will ensure none of my friends, family or work colleagues do either! Great way to treat a regular customer who has never had a problem or complaint, just leave us stranded with a ‘it’s not our problem’ type attitude.

First time to stay but frequently visit for food and drink. Can't fault this place at all. Very family friendly and the food in the carvery is excellent. The staff are more than helpful and go out of their way to ensure everyone is looked after.

Stayed here last nov for our honeymoon and loved it, we were on the top floor with balcony. Went back this week and it was shocking. The room we stayed in was so dirty, windows were stinking, we were right beside the busy road, and we were over looking the back of the hotel, assuming the kitchen, and all we could see were extremely dirty mattress’ outside. We had to leave the window open as no air con and was woke up from around 5.30am with noise from the staff out the in the rear yard talking, smoking and throwing bottles in the skip. The room we were put in was also a disabled room, designed for wheelchair use with low level sinks etc, (which we didn’t ask for/need). I’m a carer by job and These facilities are awful if someone actually needed them, the toilet is so close to sink that transferring over from wheel chair to loo would be extremely difficult and very low for anyone with mobility issues. I feel like the difference in cleanliness and facilities and standard of the two rooms was miles apart. We paid the same amount of money both times, actually a bit more this time, on the best available room rate, I believe they keep the better rooms for the business men and obviously don’t care about the other customers in these rooms. Even the beds where complete different and falling apart. Completely ruined my thoughts on a place that we planned on returning to for our anniversary.

Great value hotel. Less than 90 euro for a night, couldn’t go wrong. Food in the bar was as good as you’d get and the waitress Gina is just class at her job. She’s super friendly and efficient. Top of the range bar and service is brilliant. Keep it up lads!

Breakfast was good. Very crowed. No early book in. Got off a flight at 6:30 am. Couldn't get in until 3:00. No a/c. Record highs in temps. If we opened balcony doors… ridiculously noisy. Room facing highway. They did provide a small fan. Balcony old and dirty looking. ONE long balcony. No separation,, smokers on balcony, smoke entered room. No hooks in bathroom. No face cloths. Carpet cream coloured but was stained. Staff on front desk had no problem ignoring you. No separate sheet from duvet. Sheets appeared clean. Wouldn't recommend.

Stayed here a few times with work. Always been made to feel welcome by the friendly & polite staff. On site parking is a multi storey which I have heard is not 100% secure. Been there three times with hire cars and never had a problem but the concern is always there. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfy & the food sold on site is decent with a good selection to choose from. Bar area I’ve found can be quite loud but once in the room you cannot hear a thing. Would happily stay again.

Very quiet, very good bedding, copious and excellent food.

Quite a nice stay. Our flight was cancelled and we were put up in this hotel. It was actually just fine really. Nothing special about the lobby but the food in the restaurant was very good and plenty of food for the money they were charging. The staff at reception were very nice and helpful. There was a security man that was really chirpy and happy there joking and having a laugh with everyone. The bar was good and drinks were quick. The room had a nice view but I think we got lucky on this one and the room were nice and big. The only reason I take off a star is because the bed was on what looked to be a bashed together make shift frame with nail ends exposed so this was not up to standard but over all a good stay to say the least.

Usually, I don't bother moaning about small details but this time, that was really not a nice stay. We came in mainly because of the pictures displayed online, that are definitely not reality. No AC in the hot weather, only option was to leave the door of the balcony open. This balcony was not private so anybody could enter at anytime… The shower was unstable, going from cold to extremely hot in the minute. The swimming pool was nothing like displayed… We paid way too much for the quality we received.

Stayed in the Green Isle last night with my husband. Our room was amazing on the top floor with a balcony overlooking part of Dublin. A huge 4 poster bed and a very spacious, clean and warm room. The food in the restaurant was really delicious, piping hot and great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and professional in every way. We will most definately be returning.

Good location for access to city centre by car, there is a bus connection but it only goes every hour and takes about 50 minutes. Good food and excellent coffees.

I booked a triple room when we came to visit my daughter in Crumlin hospital. The room was freezing cold the radiator didn’t work, the decor was very tired and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were no beside lights — so I could not read in bed. The room had a window facing the front of the hotel ground floor, there were people constantly chatting, smoking and being noisy directly outside my window. Myself and my 2 kids struggled to sleep. I had been told by the hospital that the hotel offered a special rate for families visiting children in Crumlin hospital but when I asked for the rate at check in they would not give it to me. Never staying here again.

Clean nice hotel. Good food. Weird hours for the gym and pool. Seemed like the staff just wanted to use it themselves so they would say it closes at such and such a time and then not let you in even though there would be an hour and a half left. Then you would walk by and see the guy who was sitting at the desk in the gym lifting after the gym was 'closed'. Really it should be a 24 hour access for people who are paying to stay.

Taking over 30 minutes to check in is a bit of a joke and it was still the same over 1 hour after I checked in. As staying on company business the booking was on company account and paid in advance but was still asked twice for payment card. When got to room it was cold, better control for heating is required. Was able to connect to Wi-Fi but the internet was not working, called to reception and told me was working but would check but it didn’t work. Hotel has seen better days but room was still clean I will give it that.

Really nice hotel, feels like a home away from home. The staff are really helpful. Being a disabled customer they had no problem helping me by getting a member of staff carry me evening meal to my room. Highly recommended!

Fabulous lunch at the Green Isle Hotel today. I've had it before and it was even better this time. They are not afraid to put food on your plate. I will be bringing half of mine home.

Recently refurbished hotel which is very tastefully designed. Good bar and restaurant on-site with carpark adjoining. Hotel is some distance from the city centre but is alongside a major road leading into city.

Booked for mothers day omg were do I start first of all I rang to booked for my mother and 3 daughters told it was booked out and they put me on a list they rang me on the Saturday and said there was cancellation so I booked it then the menu was sent had of sent the me u first I wouldn't of booked itI was like what is this boiled eggs crap on the menu sent email and sent me back the same menu within 5 min of first email so on the day we were seated waited for 20mins called a girl over to ask for. Drink that took another 15mins to get then another girl came over and took out oder we just ordered for the sake of ordering cause it was paid for them it cost me another €86.00 for carvery that we had to buy also and for the Michael buble omg were did he find him he was putting himself asleep I would be very surprised if nobody else demanded there money back cause it was a totally let down it wasn't even in a private room anyone could here and see the man singing we just left then and went home hole day ruined… I emailed on the Monday and took 2 hours for them to email back and I emailed again and still no reply getting back to the beginning when I first emailed them within 5 mins they emailed me now they know it was a shambles and that's why I haven't heard anything from them Ive stayed there so many time I lost count hope to here from them now that I had to go public with this so annoyed with the hotel how they can do this nearly €180 on food alone without a drink that day

Had 2 night stay in family room and was fantastic. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and has swimming pool for kids. Rooms are big too. Food is cheap but gorgeous. And the cocktails are Devine, little over priced though 8.50e. Maybe do a drinks promotion on them that would get more people ordering them. Entertainment was great at night time Shops are only 5 mins away which is helpful too. Wonderful stay and can’t wait to return soon. And I’d highly recommend this hotel to Every1. Thanks and keep up the good work.

The facilities at the hotel are very good, with a gym and swimming pool. The bistro has carvery dinners daily and a nice set menu. Breakfast is buffet style with large selection of foods. The rooms are understated and plain, clean but some could do with refurbishment. The rooms facing the N7 road are quite noisy at night with constant traffic noise making it hard to sleep, sound deadening would be beneficial here. The rooms facing the rear of the hotel are quiet though.

It has a 3-and 4-star hotel. Although we had hired 4 initially we were sent to 3. After protesting we got the change. The room of the 4 well. The food was not so good. You paint them well.

Nice friendly staff no hot water for shower on Sunday morning. Rooms spaces clean comfy beds toilets out of order everyone had to use toilets at reception the toilets there very small and packed with people. Nice breakfast bit of a que to get checked to get in then long questions at small hotel food bar to get your breakfast.

We had a meal in the bistro which was very good and reasonable. The staff where very helpful. There was live music in the lounge all in all a good evening.

Stayed her for two nights on a business trip. The most disappointing thing for me was the inter linked rooms. There were internal doors on both sides which meant I could hear the German couples "activities" loud and clear on my right mixed with the person watching the champions league game on the left. There were numerous cabinets. One said fridge but it was empty. The other had a safe which didn't work. There was also a kitchen sink? Never seen that in a standard double bedroom before. Also charged me £12 more then what I booked for. The positives were free secure multi story parking and good selection of breakfast which is what the two stars are for.

Found our room to be cold on arrival (hallway was warmer) and no heating. Asked for a heater and received a small damadged electric heater that did not do much. The bathroom wasn't to clean. Room was spacious loads of space. And good size food portions for evening dinners.

Never again! Constant noise from hallways/ other guests. Room next-door or a few doors down relentless banging and mother shouting at child. Went down to reception to mention noise and no action taken. Turned on TV to try drown out the noise and the remote didn't work! Cups in room dirty and what appeared to be a blood stain on bottom of duvet cover, which also had a tear at the top. Room way too hot and air conditioning not working. Most staff very unfriendly and unhelpful. Would most certainly not recommend ever! Only rated one star because it won't let me post without a rating! Ridiculous.

I stayed there with two friends and was pleased to have a large room with three beds. The bar was also nice. My only complaint would be that our first room's lighting was poor and the room felt very dark.

Fantastic hotel wonderful hotel staff would stand on there head for you my son has autism and he had a great time and the swimming pool 5 star so warm all other hotels take note from the green lsle Hotel we be back for the Christmas can't wait.

Very modern many amenities gym, pool, 3 restaurants and bars. Bedrooms clean, toilets too, nice big flat screen TV. A great place to stay at, we will next time we are in Dublin.

The lobby resturant had a nice beef carvery dinner with huge portions for 12.90Euro. Pint of Guinness at bar next door cost 4.85Eu. Very busy place… took time to get a beer to take to table with dinner. Parking car was secure and no charge for guests.

Great facilities, super leisure pool… one for babies. Would come back. Convenient location.

Price performance is ok, but you shouldn't expect much comfort.

Excellent venue! Paul is brilliant and his years of experience gives a professional and personal touch.

Clean appearance in lobby and bar. Require key card to operate lifts, access stairs and activate power to room. Room was basic but adequate for a one night stay. Air con did not work at all and window needed to be open to allow a little airflow; unfortunately we overlooked the very busy N7 which is beyond noisy. Think there are many better hotels on the outskirts of Dublin with similar price range so would look elsewhere in future.

Decent hotel and leisure centre. Location is a little but out from the city. The bar food is quite nice.

Excellent sized family room. Small leisure pool but ideal for keeping the kids happy. Had a carvery dinner at about 8 in the evening and expected the quality to suffer, but it was excellent value and quality. Would definitely stay here again. One fault, the elevator wouldn't open on the first floor for some reason and put the kid off from entering it again. Any staff encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Run down but expensive. Food in restaurant not great — no vegetarian option (had to have a sandwich for €6). Breakfast ok. Pool is small but warm. Steam room grubby n smells! Barman tried to sell me a bottle of beer that had been open & was flat. He knew this as when I said it to him he didn't even pretend to be surprised… overall poor but pricey!

I did at first rate this hotel a 5* but after what happened to myself, my husband, my brother and his partner on Saturday 14th of may I'll rate it now 1*. I booked two rooms on my credit card I rang the hotel earlier that day to let them know we would be late arriving as we had a lot of running around to do before my husbands 50th birthday party. I was told that would not be a problem the girl took note to let the night staff know this. She took note we had got married in this hotel 2nd of may 2015 which cost us a lot of money. Myself and my husband spend our 1st anniversary here also for two nights. We got to the hotel on Saturday night only to be refused in we had two rooms booked I was told I could pay by cash as it would not be a problem. The man behind the desk on Saturday was a disgrace he wouldn't make eye contact with us would not listen to us. There was another guy there said he was a night manger said we could have 1 room for two couples they would not take our cash? But said we could have a drink in the bar? So our hard earned cash was not good enough for us to have our rooms that was booked with my credit card but you would take our money behind your bar? The way we were treated was a disgrace. I rang the hotel on Sunday morning my details was taken the girl said it should never had happened that she would have management ring I rang again a few days later was told the say thing I'm still waiting on my call from management.

Good hotel with a gym. Great meeting rooms and good staff.

This Hotel is a meeting and craftsmen in the Hotel. We had spent here in the context of a round trip for two nights. The Breakfast offer is rather Irish. Who wants to have dinner, is on a food similar to a rest stop. We had HP and were served at the table. The staff was a little short. The rooms are spacious, but also with slight injuries (furniture). Location is directly on a highway. Dublin City is an hour by Bus or Taxi about 25 Euro.

Nice nice good value for money, some nice professionals, who make the effort to be courteous amiable and to answer you even if you speak French. Restaurant Services BOF BOF, not top, waitress and breakfast always the same. But good place for few days with superb pool hot tub and hammam, gym very well equipped… The hotel deserves 4 stars for its services, but 3 for its staff.

This Hotel is OK for a weekend break, if a little out of the way. Would recommend a hire car if staying here. The room we stayed in was a little tired and in need of a refund. Also note that this hotel is RIGHT next to the motor way so a noisy if you open the window.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay very much. Room 413 on top level has huge double glass doors onto a balcony but boy, they're not sealing. Extremely noisy from the road and worse: it was cold! There are also a number of other small things that had us scratching our heads: bathroom door doesn't lock, key cards didn't work first time round. Luckily the staff was nice, accommodating and refunded the breakfast.

Went there for a family function. Lots of nice rooms. Staff friendly.

Good hotel, spacious rooms, not to far of the airport.

Common areas are large, a pub with beers that are very diverse, lively atmosphere. Rooms with carpeting, perhaps a bit removed from the areas.

Good food, nice facilities.

I had booked a room for st Stephens day which was yesterday the 26th of December I left my home which is in cork landed at the hotel was told we needed a credit card for security reasons for the booking we didn't have one so I checked my email which said you need to bring a credit/debit card showed this waited nearly 2 hours to be told in the end that they had no rooms but have my wife the paper u sign for ur room booked this for my family on the 1st of December took a deposit to secure the room every thing was confirmed drove over 250 km for to be told this in the end we drove all the way back home what a horrible experience for my kids really was upset stayed in this hotel numerous times for the past 5/6 years never had a problem on till last night me my wife and kids where very upset spent most of our time on the road never again stay there and never recommend it to any body ever again.

Only two Übernachtungen. Sehr friendly staff and good food and an appealing bar area. We could not use SPA area, because the time was too short.

We stayed one night at the Green Isle Hotel while traveling in the UK because our original reservation at another hotel was lost. The hotel was very busy with large bus tour groups and numerous youth sports teams. The children were running and screaming in the hallway until well after midnight and there was no response to our calls to the reception desk or anywhere else. Our room appeared to be a re-purposed conference room, very large with minimal furniture and significant damage to the rugs, curtains, even the toilet seat. The view from the window was the noisy air conditioning system shaft. The reception desk was not responsive the next morning either. However after contacting the hotel upon our return to the States, we were offered a complimentary night stay.

The hotel itself is lovely but I. Am rating the experience I had in the restaurant today not the hotel. I went with a friend for lunch, due to a septic throat I cannot manage to eat very much. I ordered a cup of tea and a small slice to have with it. I was really enjoying my tea and slice even though I was taking my time. My friend ordered The same. We were not taking up space in the restaurant as it was not full, however a waiter decided that we were taking too long and took our lunch away from us. Not even to ask if we were finished! I had two thirds a cup of tea and half a slice of cake left that I was really enjoying. Not only was my lovely lunch cut short from this rudeness but he also had the nerve to spill my lunch over me. This review would not be happening had we been given a nice customer service in the first place. Not to all staff in Costa: a smile and a bit of customer service wouldn't kill any of you! Will be advising my friends and family to avoid at all costs!

Everything the way you want it.

Bedrooms were lovely nice n tidy, Lounge staff are lovely n friendly. As for security staff so ignorant, talk to you like your dirt, one security in particular would turn me off staying again!

Stay away. As far as you can. Did stay and was terrible. Was given a free stay to make up for it. Second visit was unbelievable bad. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the nigh no staff available to give advise that this was a fault and there was no fire. Don't bother complaining it is just a waste of your time. Just stay far away. I am just amazed it's still open.

I've given three stars although stayed only for one night. It was a comfortable night for us. We were given a room that has a locked door for the ajoining room which could be sometimes a problem when the next door occupants keeps trying to open it and checking which room it leads to especially at night time. The toilet door of our room doesn't have a lock so privacy could be an issue. If you have a car much bigger than a saloon (e. G rover, pajero or a 7 seater SUV) then parking could be a problem manuevering going over upper lever will take you a while than normal. I actually notice paint marks on walls and post from unlucky previous customers vehicles. Staff are really friendly and hallways are always kept clean and clutter free even during morning room cleanings. Swimming pool are small which made it more smaller due to swimming lessons occupied by students. Lockers rooms and shower areaz are well equipt and clean. I cannot recommend the restaurant since we didnt book to go there for it was a busy night. Breakfast was the usual irish breakfast buffet with good selection of cereals and juices.

No Stars joined the leisure centre last year, went one afternoon to be informed that he wanted to take my photo for ID I looked really awful this day! mother of two boys in my 40's and Gym assistant insisted so I had to leave awful experience would and did not go back only 3 months in to my membership never again absolute awful to a woman he was a dog.

Stayed here for 1 night (12. — 13.10. ) for the soccer match in Aviva stadium with my family. Checked in at around 15:45 and took the shuttle bus to the stadium at 16:00. We were only back in the hotel at around 23:30. Only then we found out that old bed linen was tied around the rails of one of the roll away beds, the toilet seat was broken and most disgusting old/dried excrements were on the outside of the toilet basin. In the restaurant 2 out of the 3 high chairs that were offered to us were broken/had no straps. We reported all that to the receptionist when checking out. She was very sorry and said we should have reported it earlier but as mentioned above we were at a soccer match and came only back late that night. She promised to report the issue to the manager. E-mailed the hotel about that when back home but got no reply. It was surely not worth the €119 and I can not recommend this hotel to anybody. It's now nearly 2 weeks since I've contacted the hotel and notified them about above matters. Still no reply. That shows you how much they care about their customers. My advise : If you want a few nice days in Dublin stay away from this hotel.

Where do I start, how about with the good points, rooms were comfortable, hotel staff friendly and helpful, pool warm at 7am in the morning. Bad points went to the resturant the food was terrible, I have never been to a worse place to eat, service in the resturant was unreal we were waiting at least 20 min to be served and then 20 min to get the starter, all I can say is find somewhere else to eat, having said that the breakfast was wonderful, carpet in the hallways and on the stairs need to be changed it was dirty, I would stay there again but I wouldnt eat there.
