Stayed for 3 nights and have to say the staff were extremely friendly and very attentive, kumar on reception was the perfect host while Anthony on the breakfast service and Susan in mcgettigans couldn't have done more for us, definitely worth a stay.

Stayed with myself and partner, staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was a great experience enjoyed the food and drink, the lovely staff definitely promoted a good atmosphere. Will definitely go there again ☺️

We had a meal here in the safest restaurant about to be closed for the 3rd time this year! Staff were amazing, safety first, I will be 1st in line when it opens again! Food & cocktails 1st class. Hope you have a lovely Christmas & we'll be back supporting local in 2021! Thank you xx.

We were at a Wedding, excellent service, staff very attentive and friendly. Great food, would stay there again. Lovely big room, only negative is the noise from the traffic, as we were overlooking the motorway, but we had ear plugs with us so ask for a room on other side of hotel.

Stopped off with my daughter for a bite to eat. The receptionist was very welcoming. We decided on French toast, an omelette, spicy chicken wings (we like to share) and 2 cappuccinos. Everything was delicious in fact so much so I would go back right now if I could.

4 star only because the rooms lack ventilation since the window cannot really be opened due to traffic noise. Hotel super clean, excellent breakfast, convenient parking. Very helpful staff.

A large family room with three beds, well designed with a view of the motorway on the second floor. No fridge but 2 gowns, bottled water, iron and hair dryer as standard. Large amount of storage space if you are staying a few days. Check in and out was simple. Good advice on where to go in Dublin. Nice staff who helped from the car park with bags. Cons Broken bathroom door Room was too warm Service was slow — asked for more water as they didn't fill up when they tidied the room; took 45mins to arrive Couldn't provide me with a shaving blade.

Room okay, bathroom unfortunately only bathtub. Ventilation runs continuously, but is drowned out by road traffic. Hotel is located directly on the highway under inbound snow military airport. The dinner was good. Breakfast is very Irish. Unfortunately, it was refilled too slowly.

The staff at the front counter were very friendly. The amenities were well appointed and the lift made easy access to the room. Though our view was over the motorway, we could not hear the traffic at all. We used the restaurant downstairs which was reasonable value and also had friendly staff and an Irish pub atmosphere.

Room was nice, has free Wi-Fi, breakfasts are good but a bit pricey. Staff was a bit snippy saying they cancelled our reservation since we were a day late getting in (due to being stranded in Omaha a day) even though we had prepaid for the entire stay. Location is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car and the buses weren't on time, but that's not really the hotel's fault.

One side of the hotel is next to the motorway, very difficult to get a restful sleep due to the constant heavy traffic. Requested a quiet room but no notice taken of my booking request and when I arrived my room was on the motorway side of the hotel. Will never return to this hotel.

Stayed for three nights in the hotel. Car parking is free in the underground garage. Room absolutely adequate by size. Also the bathroom. Everything was very tidy and very clean. The staff was consistently Irish friendly. Breakfast buffet has everything you need. Pizza and beer about 20% more expensive than in Germany, but that's nothing unusual in Ireland. We never heard the cross-country highway. All in all we were satisfied with the hotel all around.

Great location for meeting up with friends. Just off the N7. Very convenient for people travelling from the south, South East or South West of the country.

Staff attitude! The rooms were clean and big but the stuff had the staff had a dirty attitude toward tourist. As a tourist I asked at the desk for an address and it took me three time to ask for it so they could give me a paper that explains it. Then in the morning they sat the group tour in the back away from the buffett being the restaurant empty. I asked if we could be seat closer and they say no because that's for the business class that are actually eating the same as any other class! Then the waitress had a attitude. The worst thing of all when I poured a glass of milk had something in it and the water was not clean.

Very friendly staff, hotel location is possibly not the best one and if you, like me, get a room on the bottom floor with a window towards the road you can forget about sleeping. After 2 nights the staff was friendly enough to move me to a room higher up where traffic was not an issue. The hotel restaurant has an amazing cheese board and server a wide variety of beers (and drinks)

Lovely hotel definitely worth every cent we paid, staff should be getting 100% for customer service they were really lovely genuine people and made our stay so welcoming, we will definitely be returning, thank you.

Wow! Amazing place after I had been to Germany. The chef here deserves a million dollar kiss but I can give her one for free. Lol.
Reception is very friendly and amazing. I always wanna have babby bed and the bed here fuck yeah so good. Breakfast is a banquet. Bathroom is good. In total I would say if I can marry this hotel, I will be the luckiest person. I am unconditionally in love with the beef menu. I love you so much guys, please have a party club inside then I would say this is a kingsmen house. Thanks.

My family and I stayed at Kingswood Hotel the night before the DCM and had a fabulous stay! The staff were efficient and friendly and organised an extra early breakfast catering for the marathoners staying Saturday night. The rooms were spotless and spacious. We got two double rooms for 3 children and 2 adults for a fantastic rate. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Clean, but a little rundown.

Too rude and overcooked don't say goodbye when you get out wrong the reservations all wrong I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Nice staff and breakfast was hearty. But the room was very warm.

Lovely reception and lobby area with great outdoor decking section for meeting people over a drink from their coffee bar.

I would give 5 stars if they would have an AC unit in the room. The air gets really dense and it gets a bit annoying. Also the bathroom door has a lock, which doesn't do it's job, as the doors are sliding doors :D. Also there is no fridge in the room, so no way of cooling down your drinks or whiskey. Also they don't give you a european adapter, but that is kind of my fault, as I forgot to bring my own one. Kind of far from the city center, but as the hotel is aimed towards business men, I can't take any points away for that. Besides the cons (for me), I pointed out, it's a great hotel, with nice and helpful staff. Oh, and ai almost forgot about the Cook House. Really nice looking place, but some of the bartenders are sluggish at their job.

Good and reasonable in price.

Good with a couple of negatives The hotel could have been a 5 if not for a couple of negative points. A well appointed hotel, nicely decorated with very friendly helpful staff. There is a good sized free secure car park. My room was a good size, clean and tidy… unfortunately it was hotter than the gates of Hell, I would have opened the window for some fresh air but my room was on the motorway (see picture) make sure you ask for a room not facing the motorway. The other negative is a personal one for me, the shower had a good pressure but you can't remove the head from the wall to enable proper rinsing. There is a pub restaurant on site, this serves some very good food and has a fair number of beers on tap.

It's a simple hotel with almost everything you would need and within a budget. Some considerations: — no AC (but they did give us a table fan when we asked) — 15 min walk to the nearest LUAS — not the best location for public transport to airport or city (especially if you have early morning tours or trips it's a time consuming endeavor) so taxi is best option (€40 for city centre €50 for airport) — food options are scarce (there's a restaurant connected to the hotel that is fine but closes by 9:30pm) It's definitely not a 4 star hotel, I would paint as a 3 star but for someone who just needs a simple accommodation its fine. If you're planning on making multiple trips to Dublin city then I would recommend getting something closer to the red line LUAS.

Stayed here 4 nights while visiting Dublin. Although it's a bit out of the city, the 69 bus was quite helpful and picks you up right at the entrance more or less. Employees here are very friendly and everything was smooth. Sure wished they had some air conditioning though. Although, make sure to ask for a fan and they will provide one right away, which helps quite a bit.

Nice, clean hotel. Staff is helpful. Location is very remote, not for Dublin city tourists. Difficult to get into the city w public transportation. Can be ideal for City West work stuff, although a grocery store somewhere near would be a bit advantage.

Huge massive big thank you to all the staff at the hotel I have never met nicer staff! The food was amazing in the cookhouse for my family wedding meal and then the after party upstairs in the function room was excellent everyone was raving about the food and how fab the room was thanks Raja and staff you guys are amazing we had the perfect night last night to finish off our celebrations I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone ❤❤❤

This was a last minute booking, but must say a top class hotel and staff, we dd the 1916 5k and were away out early, we Jd told a member of staff just on a chat the night before, and to our surprise she had us a small breakfast bag to take with us, fruit, yogurt and a sandwich. And when we got back we still got our full Irish, we ate in mcGettians restaurant and its was top class! A great find.

Stayed for one night. Had dinner in the restaurant next door where staff were really friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Hotel had lovely beds and pillows, with good quality sheets and duvets. Breakfast was so friendly. Lady cooked us soft fried eggs and offered us fruit for our journey. If we could find any fault, it was that there could be a bit of maintenance done on rooms, few screws missing, bulbs gone, but nothing major, and breakfast could have been hotter. But all in all, a really nice experience. Two adults, two teenagers, one child, €155 including breakfast. Very good value. Thank you.

A very nice place but very far from city center. But ask for back room otherwise you'll be on the N7 motor way very noisy.

If you want a good nights sleep don't stay here. Hotel on the n7 main route too Cork and Limerick and you here every car bus truck all night long. Rooms lovely but extremely hot and you cant open a window without special keys, bearing in mind the noise from the road will increase Bar in hotel tiny sell only bottled beers and spirits Only seating is in the lobby with room for only 14 people Breakfast is good with plenty of choice But you will not feel rested if you stay here Will never stay there again.

A bit daunting to start with. The hotel was huge but soon found out that all types of people stayed there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room rates very good. Very clean with a good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. A fantastic park just down the road. The Sean Walsh Park. Well worth a look if you are into waterfowl and wildlife.
