We have just spent 4 nights in the Ibis over the past wk as our daughter has been attending Our lady's hospital in Crumlin. The service has been absolutely amazing by all the staff in the ibis. Nothing was any trouble. It is also so convenient to the hospital as it is only about 2 and a half mile drive from hotel. Food is absolutely beautiful with huge portions. We will be using the Ibis again over the next few wks but overall a really lovely hotel to stay in. Amazing friendly staff.

Great staff, good food for short staying in Dublin.

Kind attendance, comfortable room and the tram line is just some steps away! Really liked it!

If you were stuck for a room yeah this would do… staff we encounted were great I must say, the only redeeming factor.
Room was very warm and we couldn't adjust it, mattress was very very firm, the floor might have been more comfortable, room basic even though was described as a Sweet Room with even more comfortable bed… I dread to think how uncomfortable it was before as this was a newly refurbished room. We had dinner and breakfast in the Ibis, neither were exciting, breakfast plates were cold and breakfast wasn't much warmer. IKEA furniture wasn't that comfortable and it was everywhere, barriers up at breakfast meant we were squeezing through where people were sitting to get out of restaurant. All in all a very underwhelming experience.

Unhelpful front desk staff. Poor attitude. Asked her to book a six seater taxi plus luggage she booked a four seater instead. Poor impression of otherwise good trip.

Never been here but heard u fed a hungry person breakfast at 230am, out of your working hours when u had no obligation to. What lovely ppl, what lovely staff, hope to visit soon!

First time here, staying 2 nights, lovely clean hotel and staff lovely and a good laugh with Joan on our first day, still laughing at her story.

We stayed 3 nights in this underrated hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful especially Liz. The rooms are renovated and quite big. I stayed in many ibis hotels, but I've never had such a big room in an ibis hotel. Even though the hotel is near a highway located, we hear no noise from that in our room. Close by is a tram and bus where you can get cheap and convenient to the city centre an the airport.

Good food (we ate pizza and chicken curry), nice staff, good shower and big rooms. You can reach to the hotel easily from Dublin centre with bus line 13 which makes 2.85€/adult. Notice that the bus driver does not give you a change!

Room clean and tidy. Stayed 2 nights did not sleep. Bed rock hard!. Ok if you have back problems, but a nightmare if travelling on next day. Exhausted before day starts. Ibis policy regarding breakfast needs reviewing. Room rate should include price of breakfast.

Basic room but what you expect for the low price. Wasn't impressed with the really loud generator right outside the room window which forced us to keep window closed to sleep.

Very comfortable. Nice spacious room. Everything I needed for a 1 night stay. Check in was effortless.

Room and hotel ok. Hearty breakfast. Friendly staff. And a handy luggage guard on the day of departure. Hotel located not far from transport.

Basic enough room for the price tag attached, that was okay until we were woken from our sleep by a gospel mass in the next room rang reception and they said they would ask them to keep it down but there are here every Sunday — the fact is the singing got louder and no satisfaction from the staff in the hotel. The 15 minute promise is a complete joke.

Booked for 5 for tonight for the week including breakfast so I got fwo prices last night and went for the more expsnsive one to include breakfast. On arival they wanted more money they hadnt a clue about nothing. They were pigs and tbe manager was arrogant as fuck. They didnt even want to negotiate just saying human error. They can keep it I here in the lovely green isle for the next month and as far as there advertising to say you will be greeted with a friendly irish reception they should be up for fraud. Horrible attitude but what would you expect from a pig only a grunt.

Budget Hotel: — Public Iron rooms — Got a shared room with a colleague and the beds are too close with one another — Small in room TV — No AC (you have to open the windows where it is noisy) — Elevators jumps a few times — Not the best location for a hotel — no complimentary water — one liquid soap for hair, body, ans toilets. Not the best one either.

Considering It is a 2 star the value For money is great, the rooms are large and the bathrooms very clean. Breakfast is classic Irish buffet. Not really in a hundred but it is well served by Pulma and tram both to the center that PE the airport.

Decent, basic accommodation! Not much to go wrong, therefore not much did go wrong. Clean, spacious rooms and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars rating from us is because we got a room next to the ventilation system that was a bit noisy. Luckily, we were very tired tourists every night and we slept through it.

The room was fine, a bit basic but acceptable but the service was poor. The late check out was sold online as being until 5pm only to be told it was actually 2pm when I got there. And to make it worse hotel staff came into my room at 12pm to ask why I hadn't checked out yet and didn't apologise when informed again about the late check out. Also when we arrived one of the staff had brought in their puppy to show off who proceeded to pee and poo all over the reception floor. Not a great experience.

Friendly Hotel. Great comfortable room. Rich breakfast buffet. A bit far from the city center. Count half an hour bus ride. Friendly staff.

For a ibis the quality is still relatively correct, the value for money is satisfactory. Restaurant side again for a ibis we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, good it is not a starry restaurant but the rates on the map are reasonable and when we arrive in Ireland it is always nice to be able to Relax before taking the road to visit this beautiful country.

Large rooms very clean. Quality bedding except can be for extra sofa bed. No neighborhood noise. (same road side. ) We did not hear the adjoining rooms at all.
Breakfast in the form of a full buffet. Do not hesitate to book it at the same time as the room.

Great value for money. The staff were lovely and the hotel was just remodeled and was very modern and tasteful. The breakfast buffet was all you can eat and the food was fantastic. I had one complaint about the pillows in our room but a couple of days later I received a personal email from the general manager apologising for this. I would absolutely stay here again. It goes to show they do take feedback.

Nice hotel but like other hotel in Dublin sometime very very expansive. But you gonna get warm welcome. The room are quiet big. I recommend.

Red cow tram line is a 5 minute walk away over the bridge from the hotel. 20mins to O'Connell Street which is mighty convenient. Hotel is fine. It's an Ibis. 24 room service for snacks. Small bar and breakfast area on first floor. Room was comfortable and the staff seemed pleasant. Not very well signed at the entrance. Make sure you stay left at the small round about! You could end up back on the motorway if you miss the small entrance.

Hotel good. Little water pressure in the shower. I found food rather not quite so delicious. Coffee from the machine in the restaurant for me creepy of the taste. Otherwise, all together sufficient.

Just had to cancel ibis hotel Dublin 4 night stay because of our flight cancellation from Ryanair not our fault but ibis refused to refund any money whatsoever absolute rubbish company never book there again.

Hotel near the highway, a 20-minute drive from Dublin city centre. Staff at the friendly and professional check-in, 24 hours a day. The room was very clean.

Staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite comfortable and heated. But I would avoid having breakfast in the hotel, in the center there are plenty of places where breakfast is really great!
The hotel is well connected to the center, via the tram.
Ah I almost forgot! Remember to bring adapters for outlets! Here they are essential!
Otherwise all great. You have to come and visit this city.

Great value for money! The ibis is close to all the major highways and is fantastic value for money. It also has free parking and a room only option which is great for an overnight stay close to Dublin as all hotels in Dublin charge between 8 and 12 euro a day to park and they only disclose this upon arrival. The room is really spacious and modern with a great selection of channels on the TV. The bed is comfortable and extra length which is a rarity in Ireland. I would highly recommend it and would stay again.

Great place to stay, quiet, super friendly, clean with every need met. We stayed 3 nights and after visiting Belfast we went back for one more. Great food and a good value. Easy bus or train to the city center. Great!

The beds where made of rock woke up with a terrible back and neck ache, asked if they had a softer bed so moved us to another room which was just the same solid mattress and pillows, stayed 4 nights and barely slept for the whole duration, the decor was so out of date aswell first room baby blue wood chip wallpaper, second room on top floor window drafty, I will never stay here again, the staff was friendly though, we moved to premier Inn near the airport for our last night, the beds where gorgeous and comfortable and the rooms more modern, premier inns are basic hotels but felt like a 5* after staying at the ibis woyld definitely not recommend staying here it's terrible!

Amazing hotel, very clean and very helpful staff. The hotel rooms were cleaned regularly and always kept to the highest standard. Food within this hotel is not the best, but does for short stays. Slightly further out, away from the city centre. (But a lot cheaper than staying in Dublin city centre)

We chose this hotel because of its location. Convenient for public transport. Other than the hotel’s restaurant, there are other choices nearby, also some Irish pub to enjoy the evening. It’s also near the M50 highway. The room is clean and staff are very friendly. The lobby and lounge area were sometimes crowded.

Great location. Convenient to all public transport and close to Dublin City. Multilingual employees on the reception desks. Courteous, efficient and helpful. Super location for informal meetings. Easily accessed from both North and Southbound lanes of the N7. Sufficient car parking… permit required though (free from reception desk) as clamping company is in place. BEWARE! Excellent venue.

The hotel offers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds provided are far superior and more comfortable than any of the expensive hotel chains in the city. I have stayed here on a number of occasions for this reason alone.

Good value, basic and clean accommodation. Staff were really friendly and you have a bus stop right out the front. No fridge in the room and shower is older but clean / does the job!

Hotel is in a very good location but, and a very big but, if you have a car be ever so careful parking, even if you park in the Hotel's car park. I see cars clamped EVERY day because the Hotel staff do not tell residents they MUST put a ticket on the car and you must NOT park outside their door or beside the Hotel where the apartments are, (even with a ticket here you will be clamped). Be really clear with the staff about where you can park, and put the permit in your car.

At the side of the highway… don't think sleeping in it! Bar dingy… but clean and comfortable.

My mother and I recently stayed at the Ibis Dublin and our stay was the best experience we have ever had at a hotel. We have stayed in hotels ranging from 5 star resorts to 2 star motels and no one yet has been able to impress us as much as the staff at ibis. The rooms were clean and nice and the staff were a 10/10. Everyone from the waitresses to room service were top notch. While on our trip we had a family emergency; the manger of the hotel Abdalla took us under his wing and helped us more than we could ever repay him. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dublin or the surrounding area.

I stayed here for three nights. Great service, friendly staff, near to red cow tram station for ease of travel. Their promise is we will resolve your problem in 15 minutes and satisfy you. Rooms are clean and large. Breakfast is good.

Institution consistent with the ibis standard. Very warm welcome and access is easy from anywhere. A 15-minute drive from the city centre. Breakfast good with a good variety of product. Room equipped with shower and no bathtub which is not uncommon and is rather pleasant :)

The hotel its actually very nice. Showers are some because the shower head is on a handle. I'm pissed because the guy at the counter pinned and told me to park in "that lot". He meant the 4 spaces next to the building that were full. But the lot directly behind the spaces he pointed to are not for the hotel. I originally parked at the back of the hotel. And when I was registering the car the counter guy specifically told me to move it to the front. Now I have a boot on the vehicle and have to wait for them to remove it.

I stayed here for two nights just this weekend and thought the staff were lovely and very friendly, particularly the reception man yesterday morning and the young man serving breakfast. As good as any high class hotel, may not be as fancy looking but the rooms very lovely and clean and comfortable. Great location without all the chaos of being right in the city centre and close to all forms of public transport. Can't beat the price, will be back again!

Ibis as always a certainty.

Away from the centre of Dublin but well connected to the red line of the Luas (tram) to go downtown in a 20min. The place is secluded from everything so it is quiet to rest. The quality is exactly the same as you're going to find in all the Ibis.

Its an Ibis so you know what you are getting, its a good place if you just need a bed for the night. This one is really modern, the staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean and tidy. They also do a great breakfast, apart from the coffee. I think the making needed cleaning or something. It's not too expensive either.

Great. About 15 min of slowwalking to the dublin tram called luas. For 7 days your ticket costs 22euro, it's a great deal driving 30 min into the dublin city center. Rooms are comfy, hotel ppl are okay too. Prices are lower than city. 5.10 for a Guinness.

Ideally located for easy access to Dublin city centre or the airport. The ibis chain of hotels are 2* standard. Usual facilities include free Wi-Fi, carpark, TV & ensuite in rooms, hair dryers.

The worst hotel in Dublin.

Spacious room, Nice staff, comfortable beds, quite reasonable prices in comparison to most of the hotels in Dublin. Outside of the centre of Dublin but accessible very easily thanks to the LUAS and the Red Cow station which is not even 10 minutes walk. About 20-25 minutes to go to the centre of Dublin.

Spacious and functional room, (very) large comfortable bed, the staff is pretty nice overall (a lot of french which is nice). The restaurant also has a very friendly and greedy card with several specialities! And all this for a reasonable price in comparison with other hotels in Dublin: 340 euro for a week
A few small hics: it is a long walk to the Luas (tram) and the hotel is quite far from the Center (30 minutes by tram). In addition, there is no shutters to the windows which is a little annoying when you have a light sleeper and the light wakes us up at 8 in the morning. Moreover, cleaning women we have thrown out the last day limit.
But overall we had a great stay, I highly recommend this place. Enjoy.

Very nice hotel. Good for one night. Has all you need in the room for a decent price. Restaurant food and dessert was gorgeous. A good 50 minutes waiting on the food but it was worth it in the end. Only downfall was the location. Wasn't much around and the motorway being right beside the place would make you rather stay in the hotel as nowhere seemed to be close such as local pubs and restaurants. Still it was good for one night but wouldn't recommend several because of its location.

Bad experiences in repetition. The rooms have been as usual dirty and unkempt. The staff have been very helpful and friendly. To our surprise the food was good for Irish standards, but the prices are too high. The breakfast was the same every day! I will write to the management of the Ibis group, to inform them about our bad experience. I need no a "Platinum Card" from the Accor-Group.

No wash towels, minimal comfort, nasty floors, and cheap non-functional electronics. Im not sure which hotel these other reviewers stayed in, but it could not have been on Monastery road. They charge a ridiculous amount for a continental breakfast, some of the staff were nice and some were dismissive. Overall the hotel sucks.

If you want clean, good value and comfortable accommodation close to Dublin the IBIS is hard to beat. I staty there regularly. It's next to the motorway to Cork and Limerick (2.5 hours easy driving to Cork) and 500 metres to the Luas line which takes 25 mins or less to central Dublin for €2.25 one way — don't get a taxi is my advice — far too expensive and takes too long. The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, the beds comfortable (they got new mattresses in Autumn 2012 when the brand was refreshed globally). I'd recommend it. Free parking, Wi-Fi, tea coffee making at a great price. Breakfast for €9 is pretty good too although the coffee is not to my liking but that's a tiny complaint.

Positive: The staff. Concerns are resolved quickly and efficiently. Very good location near tram stop Red cow (red line). Large free car park (exclusive for hotel guests) to the present building.
Negative: The quality of rooms in the hotel is very uneven, most likely were not all rooms modernised. The grout in the shower are largely moldy. Windows in the rooms facing to the highway are not to open at night because of the noise level. Here, we recommend immediately upon arrival to ask, in which direction the rooms are located. Some rooms, which were formerly designated smoking rooms and now non-smoking rooms, mostly still smell of smoke.
