Everything about the place was pretty much perfect. So quiet and calming. The place was very clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The rooms were very clean and the added bonus of the tea/coffee rooms was a surprise. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet stay in Ireland.

We have used The Emmaus Centre on several occasions for meetings and Conferences. It has an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, the staff are very professional and the food and accommodation always good. I would highly recommend it.

First time staying here won't be my last! Fantastic setting within striking distance of Dublin City. The staff catered specifically to our dietary needs with no hesitation, we felt welcome and accepted in-spite of being a little awkward in our needs! Would highly recommend.

I attended two courses at the Emmasus Centre over the last couple of months. The Byron Katie workshop and the Creative Meditation workshop. The facilitators were very good, professional and insightful. I also met some very interesting people that you wouldn't normally come across in your day to day life. I would definitely recommend taking a course here, the staff at the centre and the surroundings are also lovely. Nice to step out of your regular day to day life and come back with a different perspective.

As usual we enjoyed our visit to The Emmaus Centre, The food is unbeatable and accommodation very professionally comfortable but most of all it is homely and the staff most hospitable and kind. It is just great to have the opportunity to go there. The first star is to say it is the best.

The centre is located on beautiful grounds, it is a peaceful venue, with plenty of events and courses taking place throughout the year. Well worth a visit.

Emmaus was very good. The meals are excellent. The workshop of Women in the Old Testament was very difficult. The facilitator gave the impression of not being prepared, there was no power point which would have been helpful. The Q/A was left to the end.

It was a really good place for our meeting. We were well looked after at every level and nothing seemed to be too much trouble in answering our requests.

Very nice spacious accommodation in the style of a conference hotel. Quiet, relaxing and very friendly, helpful people. And the Christian idea of the sustainability of a meat-poor Breakfast that for once, the diversity of the Irish cheese in its many variations is presented… and from the adjacent highway and the airport, you hear nothing. Who is here in the summer, a walk in the Park and at the many butterflies on the wild flowers of Vienna and the summer lilac delight. A real little Paradise!

A warm welcome greets you as you enter, the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The grounds are so well looked after and very beautiful even if it rains. I would certainly give this place 100% rating. Food is really good.

Pretty much perfect for my last 2 nights in Ireland, when I was tired and really appreciated the serene, relaxing and uncrowded Emmaus Centre. Beautiful grounds right next to the M1 and airport. It was a lovely walk into Swords to see the Castle and St. Columb's Church as well. The staff were lovely. Don't expect fancy or perfect — they aren't a hotel. But they have all of the resources of a hotel and conference centre, as long as you're willing to share or eat plain food. I actually greatly appreciated the food — it was very simple and plain (basically cafeteria food but very fresh) so it was easy on my stomach.

I really enjoy teaching in the Emmaus Retreat Centre. Thank you all for coming to the Pilates classes on Monday and for the lovely staff that always deliver a great service. The place is so PEACEFUL. It is like a sanctuary — Well done — from Connect Health and Fitness.

A peaceful and tranquil place for a course or a retreat. Good food and friendly service at reasonable rates. A good step out of the main town of Swords and no public transport, but a €6 taxi in to town. Close to the airport and very reasonable. Couldn't fault it.
