Being from California, and have traveled extensively, I was surprised to find such a good hotel in Erbil. The staff was very receptive and well mannered. Most of the staff spoke English.

Grand Palace is one of the best places in Ankawa. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming with very friendly staff.

Divan hotel was a very good place to be I was do much happy to see Their Door man Agbeko was do much helpful, Ana's and Arshad also very kind to me, nice breakfast and all staffs are really good,

Nice hotel, Big rooms, slightly expensive but worth it. The service was good but we expected it to be better. The swimming pool, gym and sauna were not available on purpose.

I really recommend this hotel. It is a 4 star hotel, but from my view it should be 5 star. The best service I have ever had at a hotel. The staff is helpful, and they look to make you pleasant.
