We celebrated our anniversary here and got some cute surprises: cake and some decorations. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Its near to Jalan Tunjungan, so its very strategic place to stay if u want to enjoy Surabaya. Beautiful view as we can see Surabaya from above and Tunjungan Plaza. The breakfast are also good 👍🏻

Had a best stay ever when I am in Surabaya. Came here for 3 days for my trip to Bromo and it was fantastic. Hotel location also close to prime locations. Staffs in hotel are truly gem, they go beyond my expectation. Well done everyone!

Easily 5/5 rate from me as expected from five stars hotel and I’d definitely come again. Every corner smells amazing. You can easily stroll around so many places by walking since its located in Tunjungan street. You will get free welcome drinks and cookies but keep in mind the cookies aren’t allergic friendly (nuts, soy). I wish they offer ones without allergen.
Eventhough I was a bit disappointed because we stayed for our anniversary and I had requested beforehand through their website for complimentary cake+mirror greeting but when we checked in, our request wasn’t fulfilled so I didn’t manage to surprise my husband successfully. They did fulfill it after I complained, it was a bit awkward I caught their staff writing us mirror greeting when we were back to our room from swimming. But all of their staffs provide excellent customer service throughout our stay and always been so handy to cater our needs.
Makan Kitchen offers many options of delicacies for breakfast and every food I tried was tasty except their Bubur Madura was too sweet for my liking yet their coconut milk is so plain. They could do better.

This hotel is right in the heart of Surabaya, super easy to reach! You can just walk to get oleh-oleh or chill at nearby coffee shops. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots of options, and even though there was a small issue, was handled promptly and with genuine care. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Surabaya.

The hotel's location is very strategic, on Jalan Tunjungan, with many street food stalls and cafes right outside.
The rooms are super comfortable, and the service and staff are all very friendly. The security is also excellent and very friendly.
The security guard on duty at the time was Mr. Dewa Putra. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a sweet smile, and he gave very clear instructions on what I needed.

The place is amazing and I would love to come again. There's tons of delicious food in the Makan Kitchen. This hotel is very fun and lively. Although I do feel quite sad the fact that we aren't allowed to play the piano, I understand that some people just plays around without care, but I think they should let people who can actually play try the piano. It would increase the USP and the happy energy in the lobby. Overall this hotel is nice in every other way. 100% recommend to anyone going to Surabaya.

Stayed here 3 nights with family. We arrived around 5:30 PM and were warmly welcomed by the friendly security staff, both at the gate and at the hotel entrance for screening. The lobby smelled amazing! 😊 it left a great first impression.
Check-in was quick 👍 we got our key right away and could go straight to our room. Though it would’ve been nicer if the front desk staff had been a bit more welcoming, or at least had given a little more direction to the elevator. Not a big issue, we managed to find it ourselves.
We had booked an extra bed, and the front desk had informed us earlier that it wasn’t ready yet and would be brought later. A bit surprising, since in other hotels I’ve stayed at, it’s usually already set up when we arrive. So we waited in the room while resting a bit on the main bed, and eventually housekeeping came to set it up properly.
The room was spacious, even with the extra bed. The bathroom was clean and spacious too, though the semi-transparent glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom felt a bit uncomfortable for us.
Really appreciated the friendly and cheerful staff at both the main and side entrances, as well as the gate security 👏 they were all warm, helpful, and always smiling. Thank you for making us feel welcome!
Check-out was smooth, and the front desk staff that time was more cheerful.
The location is great, with minimarkets, cafes, and malls within walking distance. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you!

I had an excellent stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya. From check-in to check out, everything went smoothly, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. The hotel’s central location made it easy to get around the city. The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to assist. And of course, the signature welcome cookie was a delightful touch! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and this time we booked the Suite Deluxe King. After comparing both experiences, I honestly feel the regular Deluxe King offered better overall value — unless you really want the bonus of having a bathtub, the difference didn’t feel significant.
Our room this time felt a bit dated, with some visible wear like a scraped carpet. It wasn’t a big issue for us personally, but considering this is part of the Hilton group, I did expect a slightly higher standard in terms of maintenance.
That said, the highlights of our stay were absolutely the food and the gym. The dining experience — whether at the restaurants or through in-room service — was consistently excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious and arrived quickly. The gym? Total dream for fitness lovers. It’s well-equipped and had pretty much everything a gym junkie would need.
Another favorite feature is the open deck terrace with its infinity pool — the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.
I also want to give a special shoutout to the staff, especially the housekeeping team. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay feel even more comfortable.
Oh, and a major bonus point: the hotel is located right on Tunjungan Street, which means easy access to shops, local eats, and city vibes. Can’t beat the convenience!

Our team recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya for a company trip, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived on May 4th until our departure on May 7th, every aspect of our stay was seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable.
The service was truly outstanding. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and accommodating—making sure all our requests were handled promptly and professionally. The signature warm cookie upon check-in was a delightful welcome touch!
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities that ensured a restful stay for all team members. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bedding and panoramic views of the city skyline.
The location of the hotel is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions, shopping and dining options (all within walking distance).
Breakfast was a highlight each day, offering a generous and varied buffet spread that catered to different dietary preferences. The quality and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations with varieties of Indonesian traditional and western menu everyday.
We sincerely thank the DoubleTree Surabaya team especially Ms Miranda for her hospitality and for helping make our team trip a memorable one from the beginning until checking out.

Every staff member displayed genuine warmth and professionalism throughout my stay.
The Executive Lounge team made special efforts to accommodate my vegetarian diet, preparing beautiful canapés for us.
The most touching moment came when the Executive Floor staff, personally called to arrange delivery of freshly prepared vegetarian treats to my room when I didn't visit the executive lounge one evening.
The breakfast team deserves special recognition. Without needing daily reminders, they consistently prepared appropriate vegetarian options, demonstrating incredible attention to detail. This level of consideration made each morning truly effortless.
My husband also worked with the hotel to arrange a wonderful surprise — delivering a cake to our room at precisely the right moment to celebrate a special occasion.
This stay redefined hospitality for me. The seamless coordination between departments and consistent thoughtfulness from every team member created an experience I won't forget.

Experience staying at the Double Tree Hotel Surabaya. A very strategic location with Tunjungan Mall and tourist attractions in Surabaya. The room is very clean, comfortable and many facilities can be accessed, gym, sauna, swimming pool with a very good view. When you arrived at the restaurant there are many choices of food from traditional, Indonesian and western foods. Thank you to Mr. Jay for helping me make fresh juice and offering a drink of Teh Tarik.

I had a wonderful experience staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya. The room was clean and comfortable. Also, the excellent service provided by Mr. Azrori at the Executive Lounge made my stay even more enjoyable. From the cozy ambiance to the top-notch hospitality, every aspect contributed to a truly memorable stay.

The most comfortable place when I stay here, the location is closer to shopping in Surabaya, access is very easy to find a vehicle. And the room is also clean, there are many facilities in this hotel, pool, gym, sauna, children's playground and executive lounge.

We held a birthday party for our daughter in makan kitchen at double tree by hilton surabaya. It was amazing, all staffs escpecially Mrs. Bella Carina were so helpful and gave us all the best to support our special event. Best decision ever.
Semua proses sangat dimudahkan, ngga ribet (i guarantee you! ) all staffs sangat kooperatif, apapun yg kita request selama memungkinkan akan diwujudkan. Buffet nya enak bgt, dan bisa add kids activity to boost your party. Thankyou so so much double tree surabaya. See you on another events!

Fairly price with such modern design yet dark and cozy. Beautiful lobby. Accessible to nearby amenities. Plus point is there is in room speaker for you to play some music and there is a smoking room. Beautiful Christmas decoration.

So kind services for everything. Good serve, taking care customers and good foods. I like to visit again if I have chance to stay at Surabaya. Appreciate all the stuff in this hotel. Maybe next time I want to bring my family. This time alone but good enough for service.
