Platinum Hotel Tunjungan Surabaya

No doubt about their services and hospitality… llittle space of parking lot shouldn't be an issue 'cause, they provide valley parking service for free. They also put diffuser in the corridor so when you're walking to your room, you'll feel like coming home.
It located near one of major mall in Surabaya, near by convinence store, pickup laundry services (it is important especially when you travel with kiddos), lots of coffee shop nearby the hotel (it's important for coffee lover like me hehehe). The room is clean, their bed is larger than common single bed, toiletry are well provide.
Their breakfast is owesome, their staf hospitality is great… by the way it's ny second visit here and no doubt for coming back in the future.

Really nice, comfortable and strategic place to stay. I got a high floor with amazing scenery during morning and night time. Staffs are so friendly and helpful.
Good assistance from the front desk when doing the checked in, and very fast on checking out.
Varies of meals provided, with a lot more local foods available. Its a remembrance of my childhood.
Will definitely come back for my next holiday trip!

What I thought would be good experience to stay in this hotel, Cause i’ve seen good review in Google, hence I choose this hotel. Turns out no.
I stayed for 1 night only and it’s enough for me to decide wont stay here anymore.
At first, from check in process, everything was ok. The annoying moment start happened at night.
1. When my friend tried to drop off me at the lobby, when I was still at the car, the security knocked the car so hard, treat like us some kind of disturbance or something. Was very rude.
2. When I was at the hall walked to my room, met two housekeeper, none of them greet me, just kept look at me but wont greet. It happened at the evening and the next morning.
3. The next morning, when I went to breakfast. I wore short pants and t-shirt, the moment I went out from the elevator, there are two staff whom greet me. The other one look at me from my head to toe, like I was kind some of beggar or something. Was offensive and rude.
4. When I ordered cafe latte. I forgot to bring my money and Qris, so they decide to go to my room to charge the bill. All ok for me, until, I turn on the “no disturb sign”. Apparently, the restaurant staff “too blind” to see that. He kept ring the bell and I think that was really not the procedure if a guest turn on the no disturb sign, right?
5. Last but not least, when I was check out. Yes, a lot of guest at the lobby but the receptiont not nice enough on the procedure. No smile and all. Also, the elevator in there was so slow.

Well spend weekend with my family. Very warm welcome from all staff from security, bellboy, reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Room was excellent, clean and neat. Bfast was superb. Plenty of choices… Dont forget to go to roof top bar for your dinner. They have a great band tho.

Service, food and the comfort are good. The food are delicious and having so many variants, good service breakfast in resto with @mbk Manda, thank you. I Love nasi jagung the most, Overall is good but one thing that must been noticed the channel connection of TV sometimes can not work well. Keep the good work!

I consider Hotel Platinum Tunjungan one of the great 5-star hotels in Surabaya. The entire stay was smooth and comfortable — the room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the location is unbeatable. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to Tunjungan Plaza and several other attractions, which made getting around incredibly easy.
We stayed for 4 days, and the breakfast never disappointed us even once. The varieties were impressive — from Western and Asian dishes to delicious Indonesian (nusantara) options. Every morning felt like a full culinary experience.
The street in front of the hotel is also perfect for a night stroll — lively, safe, and full of food options and hangout spots. It’s a great way to enjoy Surabaya’s evening atmosphere without going far.
Another plus is the garage parking, which is super convenient for guests traveling by car.
Overall, I’m a very satisfied customer and will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Surabaya. A solid choice for comfort, convenience, and great service.

The best hotel in Surabaya. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing too especialy breakfast, got so many selections of cuisine. The Massage Therapist named IRA, she has a very good communication skills and her massage are so great! Would love to repeat on my next stay! ✨

The location is good, near some place of attraction specially culinary attraction. Getting around also quite easy, walking distance to many place. The staff also helpful and sincere, we meet one miss Retia, he give enough attention that we feel like they really put customer first. The breakfast is superb for anyone liking local food, they going extra mile to provide variety of local delicacy. The one less inconvenience part is parking space, though they do provide free valet for everyone visiting. You can park by yourself if you feel in need for some challenge.

A very wonderful and memorable stay! All staff are friendly and awesome! I was given a birthday surprise on my first day stay and came back the second time with a nice greeting welcome in my room! The breakfast was superb! Would stay here again! Highly recommended!

It was a very good first time experience staying at Hotel Platinum. I choose the hotel due to the proximity to the train station as my friend is coming from there. No regrets at all. The staff gave me a room with awesome views at level 20. What a blessing. Throughout our 2 nights stay, we were always greeted with smiles which made us feel welcomed. Staff is quick to attend to my requests or enquiries if any. We love the breakfast spread and the variety of herbal drinks. My favourite was wedang sekoteng drink for sure. The hotel is located very near the huge Tunjungan Plaza. Our 2 days stay was a relaxing one. We manage to explore the nearby cafes and lots of walking around. We manage to visit the Tugu Pahlawan Monument & 10 Nopember Museum. Soaking in the history of Indonesia 🇮🇩.

Great location — happening scene at night, shops, baskers, many stores all around.
Atmosphere is just nice for both business and leisure.
Room is clean.
Noise level, just as any other city. It can be quiet in the early morning and late night :)
Value wise — not too bad.
Service — excellent. Ida, who served us during breakfast buffet is fast, efficient and helpful 😀 👍 A great spread of buffet breakfast of local and western selection.

Great experience to stay at this hotel! The hospitality is good including the staffs, one of them is Rizky who has good attitude and so helpfull. The room, facilities, and foods are amazing! Also love the location of the hotel because it is really closed to many restaurants, cafe, and also mall. Keep a good work!

Amazing hotel. Staff are warm welcome guests, quick service, and professional. Room is neat and tidy. The bed is comfortable enough. Amazing food with a lot of variations. They also provide cotton candy machine in the restaurant. Kids will love their breakfast time. There is a new children area in 8th floor. Also staff even come to the guest room and bring a cake for birthday guest. This hotel is perfect for business trip and family holiday.

Ive been to Surabaya for alot of times because of business trips and I can say that Platinum Hotel is probably the best hotel in Surabaya. Their staff especially Rosi has been very accommodating and welcoming. Always checking on me and making sure I have what I need. I feel very well taken care of. Will always recommend Platinum Hotel for all our business trips here in Surabaya ☺️

A hotel that is quite close to Tunjungan Plaza. In front of the hotel area there are many spots for hanging out and food. Friendly hotel staff, from security, entering the hotel greeted by helpful staff, receptionist, greeted well and warmly. The room we booked was a junior suite, there was a large bathtub, the room was spacious, clean, nice, comfortable, with a view of the city of Surabaya. The amenities are complete. The best thing is the food, very much and varied and delicious. With a sky lounge view of the city of Surabaya. Overall excellent.
