My parter and I travel around Indonesia often so before we made the payment we stopped at the property and asked if they have hot water in the shower as this is a reoccurring issue in lower priced hotel in Indonesia. We booked and paid for the hotel at the property (no booking service) once they confirmed that they have hot water. We spent the whole day on the road and by the time we arrived to the hotel late in the evening I was coming down with a cold and my partner just got her period. As we checked into the room, there was no warm water available. After calling the reception twice they kept reassuring us that they are fixing in and that the water will be warm in 15 minutes. When there was still no warm water after 30 minutes I politely asked for a refund as we were both becoming quite uncomfortable and we wanted to move to a different hotel. They insisted that water will be fixed and refused to let us leave. Eventually we decided to pack and leave as there was still no warm water. On the way out we stopped at the reception and politely told them we do not want to stay there anymore as this is not a service we paid for. We said they can do the right thing and refund the money because they cannot offer basic warm water and because we will not spend the night in their hotel. We sent another message the next day politely saying no hard feelings just kindly do the fair thing and refund the money and they simply ignored our message.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this heritage-style hotel. The place has a really charming vibe since the building is connected to a café and restaurant, which adds to the whole cozy atmosphere—though I didn’t get the chance to try the food there.
The staff were super friendly and quick to help with anything, which made the stay feel even more welcoming.
Cons:
The only downside is that there’s no elevator, so it can be a bit tiring if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. It’s also not the most convenient option for anyone with a foot injury or any mobility issues.

The service and accommodation at this place do not match the price. They wouldn’t provide an extra towel and there was no hot water. The room was quite small, plus it really on theside of a busy road, so its quite loud.
In the same area, you can get much better service, a better room, and breakfast for just $10 more.
