Greet and served by Mba Herlina during breakfast. Top hospitality.
The room is clean and spacious. I like the bed and pillow. Had a good rest. The AC is also easily controlled.
Will stay here again.
The hotel is connected to a mall, makes it even more convenience.

This hotel is very nice and conveniently located in the city center. It is right next to a shopping mall, which makes everything very accessible. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed having a bathtub. The breakfast options were not very extensive, but the food tasted good and was satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel for its location and comfort.

Great experience staying with PO Hotel Semarang, checked in 30 dec checked out 31. Exquisite service at the breakfast place. Piring kotor di meja cepat dan sergap dibersihkan. Semua staff ramah dan helpful. Thanks Bu Peni for the bakwan recipes. And Mas Ali definitely need a raise and promotion, he gave 5 stars services! Will come back hopefully with the same quality 🙏

We stayed at this hotel when it was still Crown hotel back 2014 and it was memorable. So this year (2025) we decided to stay at the same property. But we were disappointed. If it's not for the hotel location & few attentive & helpful staff we probably give them one star.
The check-in process was fast and easy. We were excited with the room view that we didn't notice few defects. I think the management & owning company should do better with the maintenance.
There was leaking on the window during rainy day. We went to the front desk to report, but there is no follow up. On Christmas day the leaking was getting worse, Bella from Housekeeping was very helpful, she went into our room to check the leakage, she wrote down everything and gave us 3 bathroom mats, because the carpet near the window was getting wet. We didn't ask to move into other room because we are checking out the next day and I used to work in hospitality industry, so I want to be considerate especially during high season. But when our request for 1 hour late check out rejected by Adi at the front desk straight away without checking the system I was really disappointed. Especially after with the issues we raised.
Now as I mentioned during our stay some of the staff are very attentive & helpful, here they are : From HK Bunga, Bella & Dio. From F&B (Gris Restaurant, during breakfast) Mutia, Gebby, Adi, Davit, Sofi & special mention for Nadine at the eggs station. From FO Ferlita, Aurelia, & Anastasia.

Staff are amazing. They are very friendly, very welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Nabila whilst staying here too. All were very accommodating:) )
The downside to the hotel was the hotel itself, nothing to do with the staff. Ceilings leak, shower was poor, things were very average at best.
Saving grace? The kind and warm staff.

I recently stayed at Hotel Po Semarang. The location is definitely one of its strongest points – very strategic and convenient for exploring the city. The pricing is also quite reasonable, making it attractive for budget-conscious travelers.
However, while the hotel promotes itself as a 5-star property, it doesn’t quite meet international 5-star standards in terms of service and maintenance. The overall upkeep of the property needs attention. During my stay, there was a noticeable odor coming from the toilet and bathroom, which affected the comfort level.
Housekeeping service was just average. The most concerning issue, though, was that our room door was left open all day by the cleaning staff. We returned in the evening to find the door unlocked and open – this was extremely disappointing and made us feel unsafe about leaving our belongings in the room.
Overall, while the location and price are good, there are serious concerns about security and cleanliness that need to be addressed before I could recommend this hotel to other.

This hotel is awesome, easy access to get in, along with it has connecting to a Mall so you just need to jump to the next door. The check in process was so fast, the staff are friendly and helpfull. Especially Adi, he was the one who help us arranged to have a little sight seing of semarang area and its perfect. Hotel cleanliness was perfect and the room was comfortable.

Strategic Location Above the Mall, Clean & Comfy Room!
​Staying at PO Hotel Semarang was very satisfying. The location is super strategic, it has a direct connection to Paragon Mall, making it very easy to find food or go shopping.
The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast also had many tasty varieties. The staff service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for family holidays and business trips. I will definitely be back.

So I arrive, having requested an executive room and that evening proceed to the lounge. It is empty. I have to dial a number and a few minutes later a staff member appears. I ask for wine and then beer. No wine and you have to pay for a beer. As that doesn’t seem much point staying in the executive lounge, I go to find the bar. James‘s bar is a pool bar. Outside. It doesn’t look like this from the website. The alcohol I can purchase is beer gin or cognac. That’s it. This is hardly the stuff of five star hotels. Which the Po purports to be. The next day I pen my complaint on the appropriate form on the website. I ask for a response. There is no reply after 48 hours. I called the front desk and tell them that I’ve logged a complaint and they say they will pass it onto management. I hear nothing. And I’ve heard nothing up to this point. The significance of that I think is that it shows the regard management hold their customers in. My complaint aside, the staff are fantastic in that hotel. They are the Po’s greatest asset. And breakfast was amazing too. But I do not understand why they do not feel they need to respond to a legitimate complaint.

First time stay in here. Breakfast very good many menu traditional food I like. And I like bircher muesli and the coffee. About the room my husband want to shower waiting 1 minutes still warm. Nice place and near from airport.

I had an amazing stay in po hotel. The rooms were clean and specious. The staff was friendly, helpful and humble. Breakfast buffet was traditional treat with a wide variety if delicious menu. Location of hotel is so strategic and close to shopping mall is plus rate.

Amazing stay for the business trip. This is well situated with easy access to all the areas such as shopping malls, Transportation, airport as well as our business location. Amazing breakfast during my two weeks stay at the hotel and missed to have other meals due to tight business schedule. All the facilities including Gym, pool, …etc well organized.

We have stayed at the Po hotel a few times before. Its location is excellent and all the staff are lovely. It’s the same problems as last time: it’s just a bit run down these days. The shower head wall holder was broken, the shower head itself squirted most of the water out the side, and the towels were still pretty old and threadbare.
Some new towels and some minor renovation (new shower heads which cost pennies) would transform the hotel back to its former glory. If the management do read this review, please do try and get this little things fixed.
The last issue is that the fire detectors flash a bright green light every few seconds. Fine in the daytime to check they are working but at night it’s like a strobe light right in your face. I am sure these don’t need to be like this.
A couple of small issues that actually mean the stay is disappointing. Hopefully these will be rectified before we come back again next year. 🙏🙏

Good room & restaurant. However we paid the same price for a room that we requested to change, but one room had so many amenities from renowned brands, while the other had only like 3 mini sized amenities? Some staffs were super polite & welcoming, we asked q lot of things and 2 staffs were super helpful. 2 other staffs did not carry themselves well & came off rude. One kept on staring at us in the eyes while we're eating, one was called to our room and he talked in a straightforward manner, we asked for something and he said "that? " & such tones.

The club lounge provided by the hotel is extraordinary! its especially Rifka shes very helpful, friendly and gives excellent service. The lounge had free flow drinks (beer, wine, water and etc. ). The food there also tastes great with quite a variety of them to choose from. Overall recommend to get the room included with the club lounge. Very worth it!
