Had Christmas eve here, the resort is beautiful and the staffs were all helpful and friendly. I wish we stayed here. They have plenty of things that their guests can do like Billiards, Table tennis, swimming, picture taking and shopping. Pepito Supermarket is just across the road and a lot of nearby Spa and shops too.

Just got back from a 10 day stay at Bali Tropic. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed a romantic dinner on the beach and a cooking experience with the Executive Chef which was the best experience ever! Food was great and plenty of choice, we had a fantastic 10 day stay.

If you want “out of the way and no humbug” this is the place. Apart from an issue with the aircon (which was fixed) and some areas looking a bit tired I would highly recommend the place.

Overall friendly staff, nice Food, clean and relaxing. Everything was good except that we payed a deposition and it hasn’t been refunded. I have called, emailed, sent massages and even our driver was there to ask but No answer and No refund after nearly 1 1/2 month since we left the hotel.
Pity really since everything else was excellent.

Fancy and clean, beautiful Balinese architecture and gardens. Peaceful and it has a great swimming pool. The staff also is very friendly.

Animation-Tourism top, Tranquility and Relaxation not so much… The personnel is friendly and the breakfast buffet is decent. While on honeymoon they provide a neat extra service including surprises, spa and dinner special offers in your room. But the surroundings, pool and beach area are quite noisy. The hotel is targeted towards entertainment and party loving tourists although kept in Balinesian style infrastructure. There's almost always western style pop music in the pool area or annoying dance music mixed with animation during the program times. The beach area is always influenced by the noise of sometimes more than 6 jetski and thus not a place to calm down either. Even in the closed bedroom the loud music from the pool area could be heard until 10 pm. If you like entertainment and you are capable to relax in the described surroundings, this hotel maybe is a place for you. If you aim for a relaxing holiday in authentic calm balinesian surroundings, this is not a place to be.

A very nice resort for the price, staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort has good amenities and the grounds are well maintained.

Balinese owned and managed for nearly 30yrs. Creating jobs for there locals. Traditional Balinese food and western. Freindly helpful staff, normal hotel rooms small and most dont have a view. Bungalows Are the best choice for comfort. Views, and close to pool and resturants. Large rooms, best amenities for bali owned. Service is outstanding.

The area is beautiful. You can't swim in the sea. The room is average, the view is no. They said to pay $50 a day if we want a good view from the balcony. The food is average. The service is good at a high level.

We just had an amazing 8 night stay here everything about this place is excellent, the Food, Pool, Gardens, Location & of course the amazing staff who can not do enough for you all ways greeting you with a smile, lots of water sports to do off the beach yes the water is a bit shallow, and as lots off seaweed but if you want to swim you have the pool, if you want a truly Balinese experience this is the resort for you, would recomend this place to family and friends and would certainly return if we visit Bail again in the future, thanks for making our holiday keep up the good work.

The hotel is classy, atmospheric. In the morning on a balcony squirrels came for peanuts. With bathing problem from behind ebb, but the beach not crowded, sunbeds on are located far from each other, full relax.

This is the right place for one who is looking for traditional Balinese style hotel. The interior, exterior, hotel room, everything is decorated with traditional Balinese style. The hotel room is big and very spacious. The hotel and its furniture look pretty old but they are still functioning very well and very clean. Most of the resort area is garden so be careful about mosquitoes. However, the hotel provides mosquitoes repellent cream if guests did not bring anyone. Breakfast is pretty good and there is a variety of food available. The breakfast is served at a beachside restaurant. The swimming pool is very clean and the bar inside the swimming pools is fantastic too. The spa is hotel offers a variety of spa treatment and they are superb and not very expensive. I stayed at Bali Tropic as our 5th-anniversary trip and there was a surprise decoration from the hotel. Thank you Bali Tropic for surprise decoration. The staffs are very friendly and they are always ready to help. Overall, I had a great time at Bali Tropic.

What a place to chill & relax! This resort is located in the heart of Nusa Dua. More feel of villa rooms surrounded by lush green gardens. Check in was welcoming, great staff, pool aerobics was amazing! Very affordable stay and breakfast is out of notch! All happy Definitely try the spa!

A cozy hotel in Balinese style. The bungalows are built long ago but are maintained in good condition. The whole technique works. The staff is friendly, but not intrusive.

Enchanting atmosphere… We feel happy to live, and listen to that sweet Indonesian birds and music and Zen Zen.

Pros: 1. Separate houses in the Balinese style with cool canopy over the bed. We lived in a Bungalow
2. Your beach — which is super rare in Bali and in Nusa Dua in particular (other beachfront hotels are separated from the beach track)
3. Sunbeds
4. Cool Breakfast at the local scale with a view of the ocean
5. Most atmospheric area
6. In Noosa is generally the most pleasant Balinese staff are wonderful. 7. Softly, as in a fairy tale
8. Next to the cheapest Bali tourist shop (exit through the road and to the right a couple of houses)
9. Be sure to relax in the hammocks. In the evening you will hover over the bats. Cons: 1. The hotel is not new, the wooden furniture is rubbed in places
2. Swim will not work. In this place the ocean of small, waist-high. Relatively expensive by local standards. Spa not tried do not know.

Love this resort. Amazing real Balinese architecture. Private beach resort. Beautiful this place. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I want again and again to come back here.

Spent a fantastic week here in April 2018, Had one of the royal rooms and were more than happy with the space/cleanliness and wonderful gardens (we come from South Australia and it's rather dry and brown here in April so a lush green garden was very nice) and the water features everywhere are great.
The food was amazing to eat and very fairly priced (cheap for $au) and much cheaper than Kuta restaurants. The 3 restaurants gave us so many choices I kept going back to Ratna restaurant as I do enjoy a good steak! The breakfast buffet was always fresh and enjoyable. The sirloin steak is I think the best I have eaten anywhere! and a generous serve.
I don't know how you could complain about drink prices here, beers and cocktails are very well priced and spirits at the worst cost the same as our home restaurants, which is understandable considering how much more a bottle of spirits costs in the shops compared to home.
I could write this much again on the staff, they really are that good, always welcoming and happy. We had an anniversary and a birthday during our stay which the lovely lady in the restaurant pulled me aside without my wife's knowledge to arrange, had a stunning romantic dinner on the beach that had us in disbelief at how good the food was and the great staff again.
Can't wait to come back again.

Spent an amazing 2 weeks here. Beautiful place, beautiful food and beautiful people. This hotel has a proper traditional temple in the grounds and is a well established resort with the most friendly staff I've ever met. We will be going back! … 2 years later… We're back, and it's just as great as we remembered it. With the added advantage that the beaches all seem much cleaner this time (we walked all the way down to the blowhole island)

Good condition the hotel all very clean workers, excellent the rooms spotless the food good the most important the fruit is delicious.

We come from Australia and the drinks are cheaper there! Very over priced and buffet bbq dinner with over cooked meat and not much variety was $70 Australian. Not worth it at all.
The room we stayed in was nice and location is good. But still over priced food, drinks and activities…

Warm place near beach. Great hospitality. Need to control mosquito especially during breakfast time by covering open cut fruits.

Located at Nusa Dua Pratama Street. Balinesse style with a nice staff. If you like water activity, Bali tropic is the answer. Near with Benoa Water sport activity. And they have a lot repeater guest till 14X times been there. So, I recomended to you about this hotel. Lovely place to stay.

Very balinese style resort. Older but still relatively clean and tidy. Breakfast is a big plus here with good selection of fresh, buffet and pastry items. Staff are generally very friendly of the exception of a few of the reception/bell hops. Situated right on the beach close to water sports with hotel discounts is great.

Very amazing and scenic resort. Its a four star property. Area is build up on 5-6 acres of land which has private beach. They have various activities like yoga, spa, pool table on the beach, etc. They arrange scuba/snorkeling tour as well. This place has four five restaurants. Breakfast has huge variety. Very polite and professional staff.

Very nice and helpful staff! The houses have all that is needed (the canopy over the bed from insects), shower, bath, hygienic shower, refrigerator, safety Deposit box, Hairdryer, large veranda and so on… Though the hotel is not new it is pretty clean and neat! There is coast line with sandy beach and pool. PS — were there on my Dr, the staff congratulated and presented the cake ;)

Upscale hotel with quite large territory facing the beach. There's a decent pool, daytime activities and a surprisingly nice temple right at the perimeter. The room we've got was spacious and well furnitured, I didn't quite like the transparent shower door, but it's okay. Breakfast was pretty good, with predominantly indonesian cuisine. I also liked the garden work, good job on that. All in all satisfactory experience.

Beautiful rooms, huge beds, beautiful buildings with traditional look, all inclusive formulas, very decent buffets.
On the other hand bathing on the beach is not Super at high tide and downright impossible at low tide.
So we take advantage of the pool and its bar ☺

Hotel: Super beautiful hotel complex, bungalows in traditional style, manicured gardens, 2-3 restaurants, in total the years but great, friendly and courteous staff, direct location on the beach room: Spacious, clean, rather older Equipment but well-groomed impression, room service very attentive breakfast: Rich and large buffet, little varied.

But it should be borne in mind that the beaches on this coast are normal. Very shallow, knee-deep water, even at a distance from the shore. You can't swim. Only the pool. Therefore, if you are a fan of swimming, in no case do not take a tour of hotels on Kuta.

Awesome place. Very helpful staff. Swimming pool is also good. Lots of option for physical excersize. Nice breakfast option. But no option for veg people. We are vegetarian so we take only bread coffee and froots. But if you are non veg lover then there are many options.

Please do your very best to avoid this awful godforsaken place! I genuinely wish I could give a less then one star but unfortunately it does not allow us to do that. The room that was provided did not have air conditioning that works properly that meant I didn't sleep the whole night and after requesting a refund I was refused. Hotel manager came and said he will look after us with a free dinner and massage, so after 3 days there, I had no Internet of any kind for the last day. Upon checkout I was made to pay the Restaurant bill that was apparently supposed to be for free. The hotel manager is a liar he cannot be trusted if you stay there please get everything in writing!

My wife and I stayed at the Bali Tropic for 10 days in April and said we would bring our family back another day. This December we are coming back as a group of 5 and looking forward to seeing all the wonderful staff. Look out the waiters at the pool bar! Cheers.

Value for money. Private beach with beach beds. Clean water. In house restaurants by sea side. Outdoor swimming pool with kids pool. All places are accessible by wheel chair or baby stroller.

Very good. All inclusive not worth it unless you there 24 7. Lovely views and very well looked after. Would visit again.

Just pass this beach front hotel and apartment. Fantastic white beach and long romantic sandy beach. A must to visit if you go to Bali.

The resort has traditional balinese architecture with beautiful gardens around the rooms. The pool is great and the staff is really polite and helpful. A good place to relax for 3 days if you don't mind the fact that it is an old fashioned resort with old furniture. The wooden ceiling in the rooms need maintenance and we found a gecko on our bed. Breakfast was plenty but not tasty. The beach is clean and nice but there are not many sunbed for all the guests. Also there is too much noise from the water sports.

Tasty food and very helpful staff. There are several problems: 1 disgusting taste of water in rooms 2 poor water pressure in rooms 3 mosquitoes 4 very large humidity in the rooms.

Old ethnic hotel with direct access to the beach… nothing special with the food, bungalow style hotel with convinience store opposite, but a bit far from nusa dua, the place is a bit dark at night, quite nice if we want to do beach sports.

Very very Not Recomended.! Why if someone come to room must pay extra carghe? So this hotel not recomended.

Just arrived home after spending two amazing weeks at Bali Tropic. What a little gem this place is. Hidden treasure. The staff are always smiling and can not do enough for you. The gardens are kept beautifully and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Looking forward to our next trip there, in the near future.

Feels at bali not in same resort.

Beautiful property, rooms looks nice, BUT! Staff is not friendly at all! Lizards and Mosquitos and ants everywhere! And add to that the stupid rules about towels and internet and the keys! Yes it looks gorgeous in pictures, but I wouldn't recommend that to anyone, there's a lot of better places around!

Service was poor. Lack of communication with guest.

Excellent two-storey hotel with beautiful grounds with 150 rooms. Neighbors can be seen only at Breakfast.

I have stayed at the Tropic 5 years running and will continue to do so. Luckily it does not have the new world concrete and glass super hotel that reach into the sky feel that a lot of people think of as a holiday but instead it has a friendly, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Close to many restaurants, shopping and easy transport. Great staff and a truly unique environment.

Do not go, it is in need of major up keep and food is horrendous.

This is not Kuta and Nusa Dua. The hotel is nice, quiet. The cottages and rooms luxurious. The area is amazing, green. Squirrels (throw on the heads of tatapani — local nuts) and note : large lizards ;) however innocuous) ) it was a very beautiful temple. Breakfast — very tasty and varied — the main thing to restrain myself ;) otherwise they will burst ;) ) ) The sea is so-so, we had a fantastic stay. The pool is beautiful, but my kids enjoyed It cons. The beach is much better at neighbouring Melia Benoa, there can freely pass. To the shopping center "Bali collection" there is a free Shuttle. However, if you have dinner there — will take you back for free as a compliment from the restaurant. Evenings creep in all the restaurants of the hotel — right on the shore or on the territory lay a table, serve cocktails and live music. In General, I very much recommend, I put 4, only because after I saw NIKKO! ;) ) ).
