Awesome hospitality and staff, food was very good and rooms are clean and neat.

A decent place to stay. The rooms are not so great which will make one very happy. The hotel has a very good location The proximity to key areas is the biggest advantage of this place. It does not have parking and has chaufer.

Rooms are good. However the staff really need to learn to mind their own business. The are too inquisitive. Everytime in the lift the lift attendant will keep asking you every time if you are checking out or where are you going and all…

I give this hotel two stars despite the good food and clean, well-equipped rooms because of the very unfriendly and unhospitable behaviour of the reception staff here. Just seeing the stark difference in the way they talk to their white guests as opposed to the non-white guests is sad! Also, them not letting even a family member of a guest enter their room because of their "security and moral policy" (and the way they choose to enforce this) really makes you feel either like a thief or a hooker. Unfortunate experience.

Not the fanciest of places, but it is very neat and well kept. Everything is up to date and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to be of help and make you feel welcome. Service is very good. It is also very centrally located.

The hotel is located in most happening place of mumbai. Hardly 500 mtrs away from Gateway of India and Hotel Taj. Overall good services but in breakfast the variety is not that much and from outside it looks like a paltry hotel. But the rooms are too good to stay. Staff is cooperative. Thanks suba palace for such a good memories in the first visit to Mumbai.

Having said that, I'd like to bring to your notice that this hotel was quite disappointing few reception staffs and definitely not at par with the kind of expectations I've developed for a 4-Star Hotel Hence, I found it inevitable to write here. Such an inconvenience is disrespectful and demeaning for guest who has had a long association (Nearly 75 Days) with you and I'd definitely think twice before holding any event with this Hotel in the future as I don't feel like a valued customer anymore.

You could not ask for a better location, only a couple of blocks from the Gateway and Coloba Causeway. The room was clean and air conditioned. The entire staff were super nice and extremely helpful. Really above and beyond from them. The free breakfast had both Western and Indian food to fill up on before going out to venture for the day.

Excellent hotel, Staff was very friendly and helpful Nice rooms nice breakfast. Best part was that I checked out hotel 5 — 20 am, They knew I am traveling by train, So they packed a small breakfast for me fruits and more, good gesture from their side.

This is a very good small hotel which has been updated. The staff are friendly and they have a good breakfast. The rooms are updated. The hotel is older but well maintained and very clean. I stay here very often when in Colaba area of Mumbai, David.

Hated it too old fashioned and very very bad english type attitudes. BAd old fashioned expensive english type attitudes: english were kicked out in 1947 time this hotel became more international and NOT english: americans are english too.
