If I can give a zero I will give it to this restaurant. Horrible service I went there with my pregnant wife and the waiter refused to serve food. We infant requested the waiter to check with the chef if he can do something for us however the waiter asked us to come back at 7:00 pm. Poor customer services and rude behavior. Please don’t visit any of the restaurants in hayatt they are rude and horrible food.

Hyatt properties are always very hospitable. They have maintained their standards in every aspect. Always love to stay here during business & leisure.

This is probably the 4th time I am staying in this hotel, but this time the service has been excruciating, tiring and completely demeaning to the Hyatt brand. We are still at the hotel, supposed to check out tmrw but thinking to leave today itself. Since the time we have entered yesterday, the dining service, in-room and restaurant is so so pathetic, it is an epitome of careless, incompetent and discourteous hospitality. I chose the hotel for my birthday staycation and no chances have been left to thoroughly screw up the occassion. Shall remember this for long, thanks.

Water was leaking from ceiling, informed about it at 1 am mid night, they didnt changed room nor they attended, just took a bucket and placed there in room even bucket was dirty, the whole night coudnt sleep because of the dip sound from water, pathetic 5 star experience.

I have been double charged. I booked online and before my check in I was charged. And while check out too they didn't see their account and double charged me which I paid total amount by cash. I didn't check my account as I frequently travel and when book online we give card details for safety. Every hotel I visited while check in they ask that if I will pay by cash or card. But this was my first experience with Hyatt Regency Chennai. From last 10 days I m following up but only getting assurance that within 48 hours amount will be refunded or 3 to 4 working days it will be refunded. You people talk about International Standards. This way you show it. Will never recommend anyone.

Kind of a neat place. Of course it’s integrated with a mall. Parking has less space. The ball room does not occupy more than 300 people. Food is better than Crown Plaza.

Stayed here 3D/2N. Awesome experience. Wonderful swimming pool they have. Exceptionally good water. Unlike any other places I had been. Staff in charge for section Mr sathish if I remember correctly was helpful. Overall experience was 5 star with sauna n steam bath complimentary with booking. Highly recommend this place. Ask for pool view rooms.

Had a pleasant visit here. Hospitality is great. Room service menu can be improved. There are very few food items. Some. Basic amenities were also missing but it is manageable. Overall a fine stay and would come back again especially to enjoy the restaurants and the wonderful spa.

The tall facade in Mount Road Chennai is quite imposing. However, the missing panels on the front face of the tower made me think a bit about staying here. Once I got inside all my hesitation vanished. The interior of the hotel is well made. You cant but feel awed at the interior once you step in the lobby. The rooms are arranged by the exterior walls of the building and the middle of the building is let open almost through the entire height of the building. It looks enormous. Check-in was very pleasant. This was the first time I was staying at Hyatt. Upon knowing that this is my first time at Hyatt, the staff member at check-in was kind enough to upgrade me to a higher category of the room. He did make me think of becoming a loyal Hyatt customer. Overall service was good. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurants but the ambiance looked pretty nice. Except for a small hiccup at the breakfast buffet, the staff were very courteous. They even packed breakfast for us as we didn’t have time to eat breakfast in the morning at hotel. Viewing the Chennai skyline from the hotel room is an impressive experience. I would definitely look forward staying here one more time.

A lovely place to hang out, thanks to the Ramee Mall attached, Decathlon and other restaurants. The Hyatt as such is a great place for business meetings, parties or even group lunches. It's a kids friendly space. I love the ambience and the decor across the space. Very beautiful and thoughtfully done. They have redone all the damage from the cyclone and rains now. An added advantage is their location.

Went as a team to spice buffet. The dishes has very poor taste and only 2 non veg starters, Biriyani n chicken gravy. No prawns, no grills nothing. They kept steam rice, sambar, Rasam that we normally eat at home. What's the point going to buffet to eat the usual dishes? Highly disappointed. I recommend not to waste your.

I was completely impressed by the purple decor at the entrance. I was also impressed by their lifts. The huge lobby caught my eye, once I stepped in. The lounge is a place where you could forget time, just by sitting on the lavishly luxurious couches. The staff were courteous and answered my queries clearly and politely. On the whole, it is a beautiful hotel.

Beef should not serve in Hindustan India as it's linked with religion in India. Many people which was with me not taken lunch dinner after they seen beef below red covered pot. Rest fair. One counter required for spicy food. To save water hot water line should be mentioned and separate in all the washrooms. Many guests are wasting water for cold and hot water out. Thank you! Jai Ho!

Din like the food at spice Market last Friday. The ambience and hospitality was good. Lamb had a raw smell and there were delays in refilling the non veg starters. Apart from these two turn offs, rest were good.

There was no air conditioning in the lobby and in the party halls. We had functions 2 days in a row and both days there was no air conditioning. Moreover we saw a cockroach in the room booked for the bride n groom. The staff was not co-operative, to even receive the complaint, leave alone take action on it. Pretty pathetic for such a hotel not to maintain its standards. Atleast ensure to provide value for paid services!

One of the best luxury hotels of chennai. Good food, best ambiance, aesthetics unmatched. Conference rooms well maintained and acoustics good. Costly, it's obvious isn't it. At heart of the city, not far from airport or railway station.

This property is really good for the price it was offered. Rooms were big with good amenities. I stayed at Hyatt Regency in New Jersey and trust me it was nothing in comparison to this hotel in Chennai. I booked this place for my Visa interview. US consulate is roughly 2kms from this place. Highly recommend this place.

Once inside the hotel is excellent. Amazing staff, superb service. Well maintained as per the standards. Staff always has a smile, support is beyond expectations. Food is outstanding. It was a comfortable stay for the group. Would recommend some more groups here.

As Hyatt is always been known for its hospitality, this one is no less. With all the facilities at your disposal. They provide a near perfect stay. Moreover it's location is very good. There is Ramee mall nearby to visit as well. But this is nowhere near the coastline so no sea view.

Really nice hotel with fantastic food… Have been there this week for an official meeting in the the big ballroom they have. The power supply was very intermittent which brought down the lights very often. We had to lit up our mobile torches while doing our presentations. It was really a pathetic situation & embarrassing in front of our India Head. Apart from that the ambience was good along with the food & the tea they provided.

Friendly and helpful staff at the gates, reception, floor service. Spacious corridors and lounge. Comfortable, well equipped room. The food had a good variety.
I enjoyed my stay on 24 and 25 of March. My guests had a good, chatty time with no intrusions.

A five star hotel en route to the airport coming from the city, this hotel has all the facilities that a big hotel has. One of the best features here is the 365 club here. It attracts a trendy crowd on the weekend, and its an after party spot. The music played here varies from techno to trans. So if the music you like is either of the two prior mentioned genres then you must pay a visit here.

The hotel is very poorly aged, a smell of moisture persists in the rooms. Very disappointed with the performance.

For a hotel as humongous as Hyatt, ones expectations have a tendency to stand beyond the roof. A proud name which is visible from as far as Kodambakkam. Thanks to the cyclone 2 years ago, the exterior is an odd visual. Work is underway, but the interiors are breath taking. I have been there for a Cambridge conference; food was delicious and the space was well designed. For all the beauty, the price too speaks. So it is best suggested to ones who have saved capital over time and would like to experience some luxury.

My visit to Hyatt regency hotel was for a short time. I've been to the ballroom. It looked quite interesting with some traditional art across the room. Background music added advantage to the ambience. Tea served was just simple and elegant. Good place to conduct corporate parties and events.

I came to attend a wedding reception with my 3 month old son… He got uncomfortable from all the crowd and noise… So requested the staff for some space for child care… If u don understand it means I wanted to breastfeed my child and to calm him down. Even if u don't have a space it's fine… the way staff treated me was bad! (a stare as though I am talking in Greek and Latin and finally a point blank No). The other day residency towers had a room dedicated for child care… Dat lead me to think that even Hyatt would hav. Complete bad experience.

The interiors of this hotel are unique. The lobby ceiling extends up to roof (5-6 floors up). There are displays of old kitchen tools, containers, buckets, etc. In restaurant. Models of daily village life placed here and there. Good spread in restaurant. Dessert was with large number of options. Nice pool with lot of chairs placed around with secluded seats. Did not stay there so cannot comment on the rooms.

The Hyatt regency Chennai, I visited it for the first time. And it was an awesome experience. Everything in the hotel was very well arranged and the food was fabulous. The rooms and all those things and the waiters etc. We're very well behaved. I would rate is 5/5

Very close to airport and citi centre. Impressive lobby and spacious two restaurant including one Chinese and one coffee shop and spacious bar. Superb table service and dedicated Service team and you will certainly enjoy your time either in morning buffet or brunch or your dinner in the night. Overall very good spread and tasty food items. Enjoyed the stay in spacious club room and liked the table service Very good and well maintained swimming pool and gym. Great Hotel and my marks are 5 out of 5.

I stayed there four days. It was an awesome experience. All the staff are well experienced and well behaved. The rooms are good and beautifully decorated. Only one thing should be changed is the TV with flat screen wall mounted. Lighting in the rooms need a little bit more bright. The lobby and resturent is clean specious.

Attended an event here. The hotel location is good and not noisy… Nice ambience portico area. Spacious lobby and ambulating areas. Good event ballrooms. Courteous staff. Food could be a touch better though!

Not at all a 5star hotel. Staff behaviour also not good like other hotels in this category. Things have to ask for. Professionalism is less except 2-3 guys in the hotel. Front desk is ok. I had to wait for almost 45min to get a room. Will never recommend.

They really look after their customers, one of my favorite hotels in the country. Rooms have a great view and really comfortable. Makes you feel at home.

One of the best places I've visited. Loved the food. Desserts are a let down. Western food is great. Stayed only for a day, so haven't explored other facilities.

The rooms are really comfortable and good looking. The architecture is excellent. The design of the rooms is such that you cannot be disturbed from the noise of the doors from opposite rooms because opposite rooms are really far away. That is how a real hotelier who thinks about minute details should design a hotel. The things the hotel lacks is the quality of things like a received a stinky towel. Had to change my room because the curtain wouldn't day because it was broken. Was getting yellow water from shower during my last visit. So you never know what might surprise you in the next visit. All in all comfortable. 4 starts because of the quietness and architecture. Also it feels like a happening place.

One of the best 5 star properties in Chennai, very spacious and ultra luxurious rooms. Food is amazing as they have one fine dining Chinese restaurants one Italian and one restaurant along with the coffee shop. Has got very good gym and swimming pool as well. Very well located property on Anna Salai easy connections to railway station.

Extremely loved the place and food specially breakfast. Of course it is a place of luxury but worth every penny. The rooms are designed so well that every sq ft is designed and used. Well receiving staff. Quiet ambience. Great lawn and pool. Definitely an yes for future stays.

First of all, the yesterday wedding reception of Chi :GM Vishnu Prasanna with IWM Sow Raghavi was nostalgically held at this Hyaat Regency where the World Chess Championship between Anand and Carlsen took place exactly at the same Ball Room Hall. Right from the screening at the entry point, the Hotel Staff extended full courtesy with all smiling faces. The reception hall was nicely set. In the dining hall, the food items were spread out so nicely with more than enough space for movement of guests. Though buffet system and some round tables to put down the food plates and eat, yet some attention may also be given to the Seniors Citizens, Physically challenged to rest on the chairs to have to have thei r dinner, Overhaul, the entire proceedings were fully taken care of by the Hotel management. The hotel itself is a decent, small pool. A few restaurants, the food is delicious. Always want to write in a check what you did not order. Tax on local beer 10%, and on the foreign 52%.

The Chinese (Stix) and Italian restaurant (focaccia) are out of the blue. The bar is quintessentially good. Comfort at its very best. The place to be if you like to be pampered.

A five star hotel is striving for perfection, and for me it has achieved count that. There is a good choice of restaurants, breakfast is great, the room is very stylish, and the service was immaculate. Maybe the swimming pool was a bit too sunny for my taste, but the great gym easily makes up for it. I will come back if I get a chance.

Nothing like a Hyatt Stayed here for couple of nights last week. The staff/service was very patchy. The check in guy was very indifferent, didn't even smile once. He tried to sell me an upgrade package which includes Wi-Fi, I reminded him that my booking includes complimentary Wi-Fi. Other times the staff were friendly. In the morning I realised that I didn't bring along my toothpaste, but there was no dental kit in the room. I called guest services multiple times and the promised delivery in 2 minutes never happened. Also, you have to keep dialling to get to reception/guest-services, most of the time nobody picks up and even if they do it will be after a long wait. Room was big and the bed was comfortable but everything looked a bit dated. Other than couple of beers and soda, there was nothing else in the mini bar, no juices and no snacks. Ordered room service from the italian restaurant, it was good but expensive. Overall it is a good hotel but with such patchy service doesn’t deserve to be this expensive.

Very unpleasant experience with Hyatt Regency, though I wasn't staying there. On 21st Nov 2013, a friend of mine (who was part of a group) was staying in a certain room, and had asked me to call him at a certain time to pick him up. He is from Holland, and doesn't have a phone of his own. I called up Hyatt and asked for his room no (1024), but was refused connection, proclaiming that `there is no guest by the name you mention', by one Ms. Chandvi. (The joke is, I was connected on two previous occasions without any problems). I tried to explain to her for about 10 minutes, to convince her — that he was part of a group and it might be a group reservation; that I had visited him in his room many times during the previous week, and hence was convinced of room no. I offered her the compromise — call the room and check with the guest before connecting. Nothing was heard. The irritating `there is no guest by the name you mention' was repeated about 15 times. I was connected to the duty manager (name not noted, unfortunately) who took my mobile no, and promised to resolve — NEVER DONE ANYTHING. I again called in the afternoon — different operator. And Lo! I was connected to the room and spoke to my friend. After an hour I called, and again the same reply — `there is no guest by the name you mention'. This time, the duty manager too refused to talk to me. 1. I wonder if they'd treat me the same, if I was a VIP 2.

Fantastic place to stay! Staffs were friendly and polite! Like the interior a lot. Very clean and always staffs are willing to help! I had a fantastic time staying there — will visit again probably in future.
