Note: 4.35/5. A large apartment with large armchairs and beds with which can fit up to 6 people. Even a huge screen with Netflix available. Our room was an attic with quite large stairs, this would be a problem if someone with reduced mobility wanted to sleep on that floor. Otherwise it is great with great views and privileged place something… Sinister. It has an impressive level of detail for a price of 165/20000K approx. 100% recommended.

The apartment was very modern and offered all the amenities needed for a visit. We were pleased with our accommodations.

Room was nicely large and spacious.
From our bathroom it smelled like a canal all the time, which we couldn't get out of.
In the hallway it always smells somehow of grass (drugs).
But otherwise everything was uncomplicated with the codes.
But I don't think so again.

Excellent place with wonderful view. The location in my opinion is very good. The staff hardly saw it, but the instructions to enter the apartment and the location of the keys and the disposition of all the necessary for the stay made it a unique experience. I loved it. The truth would go back to that place, it's a very good and economical option if you go with a group of friends.

Great location, free parking and Wi-Fi, TV with many stations, amaing view of Reykjavik, everyting necessary for a home away from home. We cooked every evening and the kitchen was well appointed. What's not to love?

Room with a beautiful view, warm and cozy, with large windows. Close to the train station. There is a mini kitchen with utensils.

Fantastic location… 15 minute walk to the downtown area. Thankfully it had a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and the usual small appliances. It would be VERY expensive to have to eat out for every meal. The Kronan grocery was a 10 minute walk.

This was an ok stay; I would say that it was a very basic accomodation. Bathroom didn't have handwash or toiletries. Lights in the apartment were a bit dim. The apartment we stayed in also had paint chips all over and there was no headboard!

The hotel itself is great, if not centrally located but that is not the fault of this establishment. Cozy, clean room.

Pictures look good. But don't be surprised. You will see dirty pillows, cushions and blankets. I had to message the manager and had them to bring new sets of linens. Price is not bad for location.

Not too bad. It was good for the price I paid. Though, I travelled throughout iceland most of the time and only stayed at night, bolholt was very easygoing and I enjoyed the simple services they provided. Very nice in the way they presented themselves, though they should check with a couple of rooms towards the end that can get pretty chilly because their heaters don't work as well : ( Overall, I am content despite that small issue!

A good and simple place to stay. It has everything you'd want for a somewhat long-ish stay, including a kitchenette and a bathroom with the ability to store things in. The little studio flats are not very luxurious, focussing on sleeping in comfy beds. As a base of operations for exploring Iceland, Bolholt Apartments are perfect. There's a supermarket down the road and a gym nearby as are some hotel bars. The apartments are a bit of a walk (around 15 minutes) from the centre of town, but it's a nice walk down Laugavegur. All in all, a good place for a good price.

Well. Not a short stay kind of place as an alternative to a hotel in winter — it's way too isolated. The location is behind a gas station not exactly a view. And definitely not the place to stay in winter with out a car. Rent a car if you stay here! The walks are not shoveled and there are no decent stores or restaurants that serve past 8-9pm anywhere close. If you come here in winter bring heavy snow boots or you are screwed as you'll break your neck or freeze your feet walking anywhere. Cabs are insanely expensive and buses are few and far between. It's quiet and clean but sparse and absolutely no frills. Not even a bar close by.

It was inexpensive and walking distance to the city. The apartment was clean and what we expected. There is no desk you check in at nor is there staff there around the clock, it's just like an apartment. There are outlet adapters (being from America it saved me $30) I would book with them again because it made me feel less touristy and more like my own place.
