Berlin Hotels near Designpanoptikum

The Hotel is very well located near lots of tourists attractions in East Berlin. We managed to walk everywhere. Friedrichstrasse is the closest Metro.

I would first of all like to say this is my favourite hotel ever. I had the best shower of my life. Water was warm during winter and pressure was good. 10/10 shower.

Return visitors. Love it here. Amazing views (superior room floor 5) … and a warm welcome. Like the quirky style and unusual room layout, with movable screens and curtaining.

Enjoyed it but not a 4-star hotel. I also fan very loud at night and made it hard to sleep. Good breakfast.

The stay there was exceptional. A wonderful apartment with a living room and a bedroom. Everything is tastefully decorated, with endless closets for storage and plenty of accessories.

We had a great experience — check in went well and was super friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great.

What a treasure! The feel of a lovingly maintained bed and breakfast in an historic building, but the privacy of a hotel.

Great hotel! I LOVED the location, quiet neighborhood. The hotel and its surroundings have a beautiful charm, you feel like a local.

I had a great staying at the VCH hotel. The location is great. Walking distance to many things and also accessible by the public transportation. The room is small but very clean and well maintained.

I had such a pleasant stay. I was supposed to check in at the hostel next door but they don’t have room anymore.

Very pretty hotel for a surprising price.
The nearby Monbijou Park is a nice are to be in a big city like Berlin.
Hackelscher Markt around the corner offers food and public transport.

We stayed here for 2 nights for business but I liked the hotel so much I wanted to leave a review. On arrival at 22:00 we were greeted by Oscar who was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

What can I say? We had the most fantastic studio apartment facing out on to the street, perfectly located for the underground and a range of different amenities such as shops and restaurants.

I stayed for a week. I would say accommodation is amazing for the price. And location could not be better as well for what I wanted and needed. Clean, new and comfortable. All amenities as described.

Rooms were quite tiny, without much wiggle-room, however, the location was amazing.

This hotel is great! the rooms were quite small but it's what was expected. Fan included in the room was useful. The bathrooms were not too busy and kept clean, as was the entire site.

I was staying here for a week, and I love the hotel! It's perfectly located (only less than 5 minutes walk to the metro station), and close to all of the main tourist attractions.

Only negative comments, the hotel has no reception staff, we didn’t like this. It was a self check in and out, fine for an Airbnb but not an hotel.

This was our first time in Berlin and so glad I chose this hotel. Check in and out so easy, great room with great facilities, very clean, really comfortable bed and breakfast was plentiful.

I spent my summer here with another friend and we have no complaints. The location is perfect, only a 30’ walking distance to the museum island and it is a very nice and youthful neighbourhood.

As a solo female traveller I felt warm and safe in their capsule rooms :). Check in was nice and easy, but you are required to make your own bedding.

I arrived very late and had a check-in at around midnight. The staff were friendly and explained everything perfectly, considering this was my very first time staying at a hostel.

We stayed 3 nights in Zarenhof hotel. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but we had to leave a day earlier.
