I do not recommend this place at all. Firstly, the rooms are way too small. Its embarrassing. We were three in our room and we could barely feet our luggage in the room. The beds were very uncomfortbale. On top of that, security within the hostel is embarrassing. Anyone can access the area where the rooms are. In addition, it was extremely hot inside of the room. It was impossible to stay inside. The bathrooms were quite dirty. On the day we arrived, there was blood in the bathroom, and it took two days to have it removed. On top of all of this, there is no common area where you can make/eat your own sandwich. One of my friends and I were eating homemade sandwiches at the hostel bar, and we were kicked out in a very rude way by the manager. He wouldn't even allow us to eat our sandwiches on bench close by. Really terrible stuff. I find it embarrassing that we paid for the hostel and we couldn't even have a frickin table to eat a sandwich. Quite unbelievable. The only good thing about this place is the location, with the hostel being located right in front of the train station. Horrible place, wouldn't recommend it at all. Please avoid this hostel.

Really overpriced for what it is. Extremely uncomfortable, small cubes, almost no space for storage inside (apart from a tiny coffee table). Not comfortable for sleeping, as it gets very stuffy inside during the night. Facilities (showers/bathrooms) are cheaply made.
The biggest problem is the sound isolation of the cubes, that is literally is non existent. We were lucky that neighbours were quiet almost all nights, but generally speaking, you can hear every coughing/quet talking from your neighbours. One day there were some people drinking beer outside their cube at night and you can basically hear everything they say, if they were in the same room with you.
Worth mentioning that they do not allow you to store your bags with them on the day you leave.
The main advantage is the convinient central location. But otherwise would not recommend.

The rooms are tiny, but that was expected. The showers were okay, more effort could be put in to making them a bit cleaner.
Check in is strict and closes at 8pm so make sure you arrange something with the staff if you’re arriving late.
The toilet block was centre in the middle of the cubes for easy access. The location of the cubes themselves is quite cool with the sports courts near by, which is a great atmosphere.
The little bar/restaurant area is lovely and the snacks from the fridge are excellent and offer a good selection of healthy food :)
The entrance was easy enough to find to the property. I arrived in the daylight and it was fine, but going back to the room after having dinner it was dark and as a solo female traveler I felt uneasy walking back through the poorly lit alley to the entrance. I think some more lighting would help immensely to make guests feel a bit more comfortable.
All in all a good stay, it’s budget accommodation in the middle of the city and definitely a “you get what you pay for” experience.

This hotel is great! the rooms were quite small but it's what was expected. Fan included in the room was useful. The bathrooms were not too busy and kept clean, as was the entire site. The site itself was very nicely decorated.
The location is quite good. It's located on the site of the former Berlin wall which is very interesting. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and also has great transport links with trams and metro. Walk to the city centre is only about 20 minutes.

It's ideal for a few days of city trip. The cube is small but comfortable, and you don't have to share it with unknown people. It's the joys of camping paired with the comfort of an affordable hotel room. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and centralized between all the cubes.
The location is great for going into the city but horrifying at night. The entrance is in an alley with no lights. The second it gets dark, it's not comfortable to walk into anymore, especially as a woman alone. During the summer I imagine it's not that big a problem as long as you don't go out until midnight but in the autumn it's dark early this far east. I hope for future visitors that the lighting situation in that alley gets fixed because it is very creepy.

Great concept! You wouldn't expect a good beach vibe in the middle of Berlin, but it's actually real. The cubes were very clean, as were the shared showers and toilets, although the ground outside was sandy. The rooms are very small but you are aware of that when you book. It does, however, require some flexibility. Next door was a beach bar and a volleyball field. However, it was very noisy and you are exposed to a lot of noise. Next to the lodges is an event room and the entire facility was dismantled and cleared up loudly until 04:00 in the morning. It wasn't cold in the lodges either, although it was around 15 degrees outside because there is heating. It is a bit stuffy after a few hours, an additional small window on the back would be desirable.
