Great building, wonderfully renovated rooms. However the service is lacking. Our sheets had a blood stain on them. Discovered after we unpacked and were ready to go to sleep. We were not presented with an option to have our sheets changed, only with being moved to a different room the following day.
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Berlin. Loved the atmosphere of the hotels. Rooms are cozy and interior is beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.

This was the second time staying at Honingmond Botique Hotel. The facility is beautiful with oil paintings throughout the hallways and rooms, antique style furnishings, and a nice courtyard that guests can sit in. There is also a small area area by the lobby that has snacks, wine, coffee & tea for guests. The coffee/tea are free and other items can be purchased on the honor system and charged to rooms. In the morning, there are pastries available for about an hour. Related to those, their website offers "Hot Deals" where you pay a bit more. They state "exclusive breakfast" which we interpreted to mean a hotel breakfast like many chains offer. We got a follow-up confirmation email stating that they do not have a restaurant but a small one is next door. It is actually on tge corner with a limted menu. There are several small cafes within several blocks but again, their breakfast menus are limited and some do not open until 8am, which creates a challenge uf you plan you go on day tours and want food before going.
There is a small park with sections of the old Berlin Wall, along with narrative displays about 10-15 walk from the hotel (adjacent to trams/buses).
Location-wise, larger restaurants are four or more blocks away. Trams and buses are about the same distance. If you plan to take a BigRed double decker tour bus, the nearest stop is likewise about a 10-15 walk away.
Overall, a great facility but if you have walking issues, I'd recommend a more central location.
