Of course the rooms are small but clean and tidy. There were no problems for 5 days of residence. Very convenient location.

The hotel is very nice, but it could be better cleaned in some places. On all floors, the windows are not or untidy cleaned. At my room, not everything was clean either, especially not, the mirrors and doors were full of fingerprints. The people who work in this hotel are very friendly. When it rains, you can borrow umbrellas at reception for free.

Well situated near the Berlin Zoo. At first glance it's a 4 star, but the rooms (well, our room at least) have a musky, earthy smell. It helped to pour water in all the drains in the bathroom but this really isn't the guests job. Breakfast was on the boring side. Good selection but not more than expected. I would stay here again, mostly because of its location.

Whilst this hotel is adequate and clean with friendly staff there are a few issues. Exterior is tired Rooms are very basic and dated There's a giant photo of an African tribesmen in the room… why when I'm in a Berlin hotel!? Breakfast should be included for all (advice here is to leave the hotel and walk 30 seconds the cafe on the corner. The breakfast is cheaper, environment is quieter and food is better). Beds aren't comfy.

A very dirty Place. There was a lot of Dust on the Surfaces. The Carpets were very dirty and spotty, the Air Conditioning loud. In the Bath lay hair, Many Hair. Breakfast was good. Still, unfortunately, I can only give one Star as the Bed on the Side behind the Cover was full of blood Splatters. Has anyone been killed here? I absolutely can't guess about this Hotel.

Central location in Berlin in about 5 minutes walking distance from train station "Bahnhof Zoo". Rooms look a bit old but are generally clean and tidy. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast room too small and average quality of breakfast.

Rooms no longer the latest but clean and with good beds. Have paid everything together with the ice ticket from Ulm. In this package, price performance was very good.

Despicable place. They gave us a room one door down from renovations. The whole stay it was incredibly loud and filthy, and house keeping didn't come. When I complained I was not offered a different room or compensation and despite my request house keeping didn't come. Since reception never (during the entire stay) answered the phone I had to go down to them again. We didn't insist to change rooms (that's on us) because we were there for work and were too tired to be bothered, still there is no excuse.

Rooms were okay. A little dirty and something unlovingly prepared. Disappointing: Even after reference to it nothing was changed…
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. But poorly organized. Very full…

I travel a lot and I know the group from other countries. Therefore, I would say the hotel is passable with a lot of air upstairs. We were accommodated for a concert visit in the hall opposite here. Basically you can recite from previous reviews. Small room, damn small bathroom… Prices for breakfast expensive, good options for eating in the near vicinity (see other review of mine) …

The hotel is the in he perfect location to navigate to anywhere in Berlin. The rooms are up to standard and are fantastic for the price. I spent a long weekend in a twin room with a friend and we had enough space to be more than comfortable. I would recomend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Berlin.

It does not deserve 4 stars, not very large and outdated rooms, the regular bed, the regular cleaning, friendly staff.

Good value for the price. Ideal for city travelers.
Negative: Something in the years of the 1970s construction, bathroom. Toilet paper was not replenished and places thick layers of dust in the bathroom and rooms which have not been seen by the staff for a long time.
Nevertheless recommended for City trips.

The breakfast offers a great variety. The service at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. The rooms seem inviting at first glance, unhygienic at second glance. The carpet had stains, the balcony was unkempt in winter and the operations hooked into the process track. The silicone of the bathtub has not completely filled the gap between the bath and the tile.

Rude receptionist, not helpful, PAID FOR DOUBLE ROOM, END UP WITH TWO SINGLE BEDS. However this has been solved by a very nice receptionist in the morning after second complaint, very nice stuff at the bar — Andy was serving us. Very nice cocktails. Room that we have been given as a replacement room was just perfect — spacious, nice bed, nice bathroom. I would recommend this hotel.

Staff nice. But hotel is dirty. Dirty corridors to rooms and rooms are dirty.

+ Room Nice + breakfast good to OK-partial dust — and worst of all, unfortunately, was the air.
When I came in the heater was on 5 and it felt like I was in the sauna.
Even after the heating was turned down, the air was consistently bad and dry.
Unfortunately, I was not the only special 4 of my colleagues to say the same about the air.
I wish the hotel all the best and hopefully soon improvement;)

Value for money is great. The location is perfect for a city/Shopping-/Partytrip in Berlin — only recommended! Our room was clean and strange smells didn't exist at all. As described in other reviews, however, the rooms for a 4-star hotel are in need of renovation — who is looking for a "real" 4-star hotel, should look elsewhere (but also be willing to pay more). Looking at the price in terms of the rooms and the overall impression of the hotel I find the place absolutely recommended!

Everything was fine, but a friend forgot the tablet and it was not returned.

Although, my stay was short, I was absolutely a fan of this hotel. When you walk in the lobby, it's like walking into a scene from a Steven Soderburgh movie, sexy mood lighting and dripping sleekness. The hotel staff are young and very friendly. I didn't visit but the bar in the lobby was beautiful and certainly where I go spend a couple of Euros had I more time. The restaurant was also very highly rated. So good food, not just good hotel food, if ya know what I mean. I must say it was clear when you entered the room that the building was retrofit to be a hotel. Which leads me to my one gripe. The showers could have been a bit cleaner. Full Disclosure, I am a bit of a neat freak so I am speaking mainly of the corner of the shower and the groat in some sections. However, it certainly wouldn't stop me from staying there again and it certainly shouldn't dissuade anyone else either. It's in a great location, close to public transit and many different shopping sectors!

In walking distance to the main shopping area in Berlin and 4 minutes to the Zoo Train Station. Great service, nice staff always helpful. Amazing breakfast with a lot of choices from different continents and cuisines. Cozy and quiet bar with a fine selection of Scottish Single Malt.

Always happy to stay there. The people at the hotel are always good mood, courteous and accommodating. The Wyndham has become my regular hotel in Berlin.
The location is great and the hotel is very close to everything.
The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired.

For the money, this is a great option near the Zoologische Garten. You may find nicer hotels in the area, but you will pay 2-3 times as much… and who wants to hang out in the room when you are in Berlin? I agree that the facility could use an update, but I feel the value/location of this hotel is great.

Good hotel only need to improve the cleanliness, good connection to the center of Berlin.

Very nice hotel. Very good location for visiting the city. We only had breakfast and it was very good! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel while you are in Berlin!

I have reserved three rooms for 2018 and hope that something has improved by then! Especially the cleanliness could be improved immediately! The reviews/ratings let me consider cancel!? : — (

Rooms are simple from another time. Water runs through somewhere in the bathroom. Ancient pipes under the wash basin from GDR times. Flat screen TV felt from a similar time on the football watch, for example, not possible because of the bad picture. There's dirt in the corners. Absolutely not worth his money and four stars are a complete joke.
The breakfast was very good.

Very low value for the money paid. All the hotel has to be refurbished. Old carpets, holes in the ceiling. Generally the room is not ok. Breakfast, location and the staff were more than Google.

Room was clean and big enough. Hotel generally looks a bit run down and could do with some redecorating. Wasn't a huge fan of the breakfast but plenty on offer. Staff helpful and hotel perfectly located for a visit to the zoo. Not hotel's fault but other guests talking loudly in corridor one night, literally sounded like they were in my room. Air con didn't seem to work, room was hot at night despite radiator being off.

Overall we liked the stay, the spacious and comfortable room, the friendly service, the great shower, the super comfy beds. But when we arrived they had not cleaned the floor of the room or the bathroom. We said it and they cleaned it half… But enough. Quiet and quiet. Very good value for money, although you have to keep in mind that in a 4 star outside of Spain it is like a 3 on the peninsula. Very good location, close to Central Park and a train station, bus and subway. Nice neighborhood.

Everything is too small (rooms, bathroom, breakfast area), bed quality is poor, everything is too old and not well maintained.

This hotel is not worth staying, I stayed here for 9 nights because of the business trip, and concluded following: 1) The room is pretty small and not clean. I found a spot of blood on my cover and bed. 2) The bathroom is horrible with old facility and bad ventilated. The bathtub was plugged for 3 nights, we took shower in dirty water. Besides, there is not separation between bathing and grooming facility, so you will get a wet ground and toilet after shower. 3) The bed is like camp-bed, not made by wood and not fixed on ground, it is with wheels and easily move away all the time. I have no idea about it, and of course the staff didn't inform their bed is camp-bed, I leaned on it, and the bed moved away, I almost fell down on the ground! If you have children to stay with you at this hotel, must watch their safety in the room. 4) The last item is the most unbelievable and ridiculous one for a so-called 4 stars hotel. When I checked out and asked a receipt, the staff can't find my any reservation record, and asked me to write email back to hotel to ask receipt by myself! Excuse me, I already paid as I arrived on first day, but they can't find my any record of my booking! The staff didn't apology for the mistake and even throw my passport, very rude and not professional. Then my colleague also asked for her receipt then I found the receipt is titled with my name! What a "4 stars" hotel! 4 stars stupid?!

I did it on a night of two nights. The staff are very welcoming, the room was clean and the restaurant excellent. Unfortunately the soundproofing between the rooms is not terrible.

Amazing hotel and great location. Breakfast is good for vegetarians as well. Accessibility to metro and main market is an add on.

Good location, rooms are average, comfortable beds and powerful shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is high quality. The rooms probably needed some light cosmetic work but don't let that bother you on a city break as you'll be outside more than inside. Would stay again. Can't comment on breakfast as I never made it down in time :)

The staff was very friendly Very clean and functional rooms. Good to have a coffee or tea in the evening with the kettle in the room.

Close to the metro and bus station, convenient x move to any other part of the city. Helpful and very attentive staff.

Hotel overall valid. Great service and facility. The only drawback are the rooms a little dated in the furnishings.

Nice and quiet Hotel. Plan to get up early if you want quiet lunch at the terrace (at 7am, there is no one).

The rooms are rather small and a bit old, but quite acceptable. Also the bathroom is on Minimalfläche housed. The location of the house number is, of course 1a.

The bathroom is definitely too small. The architect was probably from a height of max. 1.70. Location is great, Breakfast good.

At the Berlin Exceliror Hotel is supposedly a 4 star Hotel. Unfortunately, this hovel of was once a good Hotel for a maximum of 1 to 2 stars earned! Here 196 euros without Breakfast for two nights for 2 people to take a Kundenveraschung the same! On the first night, drove the car through the abgewrackte room on the fifth floor. The next day after the complaint, there was a quieter but also abgewracktes room.

The Hotel is OK, the food is very good, the rooms are a bit in the years to come. The name makes much more since than the Hotel itself. Not a bad Hotel, but there are better.

We were in December to train with the company in the Hotel to guest. Meeting rooms and food and entertainment are good. The lunch was ok, the beans and the meat was not quite my taste. The room was ok but a bit small. The bathroom was good with the tub, but this was on one corner is already very great damage to the mosaic and my hair dryer was already broken and have been taped. Luckily I had my taken. The Breakfast was very good, only for the size of the hotel are not enough space available. So who in the morning longer sleep must eat Breakfast queue.

Nice hotel, although for that price it could be little better. Room for two was very small. Bed was very comfortable, we slept great. Tiny bathroom was ok, clean. Mini fridge available in room, filled with drinks and snacks for use (prices, for example: 2, 5E for Sprite 0, 25l bottle). A lot of mirrors on walls (probably to hide overwhelming whiteness of the walls). Small TV in room (mostly German stations). Generally it was good place to stay for the weekend. People from service at reception desk were very friendly.

Really like the look of this hotel. Reminds me a lot of the W. Shower is nice, rooms are small but cozy. Aesthetics are gorgeous and the staff has been very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

Inexpensive and in the heart of the city. I really liked it.

Nothing to say about the cleanliness of the rooms but for a 4 star hotel It is very just in equipments.
Wi-Fi is charged (6 EUR/hour), free-access stations exist but you have to queue before accessing it.
Poorly tuned TV and poor quality reception
Defective electronic lock.
Moreover breakfast in the morning is a noisy factory or it is difficult to find a place.
