A great hotel with a lot of charm and very friendly, courteous staff. Very clean. Here the guest is not king, but even emperor.
The only criticism: the cocktail bar is a smoking bar, so that you are reluctant to stay there as a non-smoker, or avoid it. But that's really groaning at the highest level.

Rooms are worn, furniture is everywhere scratched. No ventilation in the bathroom. Bathroom very small and tight shower. No Air-Conditioning. Breakfast overpriced total, we will not use. A typical capital city hotel with rip-off prices and verwohnten rooms.

Excellent location for getting around Berlin. Staff all professional and friendly. Room overlooking courtyard was quiet, smart and very comfortable. Mini bar, coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of minaral water everyday. Room and bathroom cleaned to a high standard. The hotel has all the modern facilities you would expect but in a building with some character and style. Traditional rather than modern but this makes it feel smart and adds a feeling of style. Definitely would recommend a stay here. Close to an underground station, 5 mins walk or less. Plenty of resturants of various styles within 10 min walk. Area feels safe at all times.

From 12.07.2018 to 03.08.2018 I made a guest appearance at the Hotel Savoy Berlin. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The attached restaurant Weinrot with garden offers very tasty cuisine. The smoking bar with attached air-conditioned room for cigars only offers exquisite Cuban cigars and cocktails. The location is centrally located at the U-, S-, Bus station Zoologischer Garten. For the culture: opposite is the Delphi Theater and around the corner the Stage Theater of the West. Negative was only in the high heat no air conditioning. But I got a fan. Despite all this a pleasant stay: again and again!

Russian-speaking staff. Polite and sympathetic. Good breakfasts.

Excellent location. Very nice vintage hotel. A good starting point to explore Berlin.

Retire-honoured, but out of date. Clear point deduction due to insufficient value for money. Overheated rooms due to lack of air conditioning. Not worth a 2nd booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during a business trip. The services were acceptable and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of meals.

A little bit of the years. If you don't stand on a cigar scent, you run through the lobby, that might bother you. Otherwise centrally located, stylish, friendly, excellent breakfast. With an old G. Small limitation, a place of well-being, where I have spent several days several times and will be happy to come back.

Great receptionist when we arrived, hotel has an older style but embraces it with things like a cigar bar. The cigar bar smells a bit in the night but it isn't as bad as some other reviews make out. Quite a few local places around for drinks with a cool jazz bar across the street or a bouncing club just down the road.

Very nice hotel, very good value for the price. Great breakfast. The staff is very attentive, friendly and nice. The location is very good. 200 m to Zoologischer Garten station. From there, most of Berlin's sights can be reached in a short time. The next time you visit Berlin, I will book this hotel again.

I was at the Lynx in the restaurant claret. Excellent food. Wonderfully presented. Very nice light furnishings to match the name. Well attended at lunchtime. Reasonable prices. I like it again.

I've never been to the Savoy Hotel. However, I regularly enjoy a cigar at the Savoy Bar. A wonderful ambiance! Thank you very much.

Absolutely loved it. Really nice hotel. We only stayed two nights and had one breakfast, but that was delicious.

A very comfortable hotel… the gym to improve and the smells a little unpleasant… smells a lot like fried.

The hotel itself I can not judge, but had the pleasure to get to know the cigar lounge. And. The. You should. Visit. Who cigars. Like. Good advice, it should be reserved…

They make no effort to understand the Spanish and of scarce sympathy. The hotel Esra very well located, tiny beds.

Actually a nice and well located hotel. Rooms, beds and food good. Only the cigar and cigarette smell that pulls through the whole house is very annoying. But you said you were working on a solution.

Great Restaurant… Great Lunch.

I've been a regular for years. Near the Kuhdamm there is no better location for a hotel. The staff is at a high level constantly friendly and helpful at all times. The house has a personal charisma.
Perfect breakfast. The selection is hardly to be overoffered and it is constantly freshly redefined.

The room was OK, not super. Service is good. But it looks better in the pictures than in truth.

Very disappointed, and surprised. Came away for a special weekend. Booked suite to find it was just two rooms and nothing like any of the photos. Second room was just an adjoining room which looked setup as a single room, small bathroom single everything. At night the hall stunk of cheap cigarettes from the roof terrace. Bed was comfortable but only two small singles pushed together, again not representative of the photos. Asked reception and was told house keeping has left for the night and couldn't do anything (this was before 10pm and a double had been specifically asked for). Room itself was rather tired and just a standard twin, had the beds not been pushed together. Had a small coffee maker, no tea, hot chocolate, kettle etc. Bar fridge was understocked and massively over priced even for a hotel. Room service was limited to 11pm and 6/7 items again over priced and then came with an additional fee. Second day, came back to dirty cups, glasses and bin. Again told house keeping has left already. Reception did however quickly put everything right there. Long story short, we would not be coming back for a very long time, if ever. Not what is expected at all from what could be an incredible hotel.

For me the best cigar Lounge in Berlin. Cosy and with a great selection in the walk-in humidor.

It's a quiet hotel and the main train station is around the corner. This place has a great location, and a private gym is around the corner with only a 5 euro day pass to use the gym.

Food average but good. Excellent service. Nice yard with tables. Great place for summer lunch in the city.

You certainly feel welcome and at home. Very courteous staff and excellent breakfast buffet. The décor is lovingly and with a lot of charm and thank god not sterile at all or the usual hotel look. Everything is very clean even the mattresses. If now the upholstery of the chairs and armchairs are refreshed a bit there is nothing to complain about.

Discreet, clean. Listening to the customer. Remarkably located.

Loved staying here fab breakfast and elegant spaces. Our room was warm as no A/C but bearable with window to small balcony. I liked the cigar area, although I do not smoke, if I did I'd like to indulge in this room, tainted with the rich smell of good tobacco. Excellent staff and good service at reception. Enjoyed the view from our room.

There is very special bar. Which is heaven for smokers and especially for cigar smokers. There are cigars of very high class.

Clean well appointed rooms, lift and good restaurant. Excellent customer service from front of house.

In the context of VisitBerlin "Experience Your city" we took advantage of the opportunity, the Savoy as the Locals know it well. The prospect of an evening with Jazz and Dining was just as enticing. The house is near the train station offers a very good access and proximity to the popular Kurfürstendamm shopping street. In a room to the yard, it is still surprisingly quiet, the train is not at all to hear! The staff from reception, Service and the Restaurant is exceptionally attentive and friendly! Pleasant Surprise as Berlin! The dinner in the Restaurant and also the Breakfast menu was overwhelming good. Ever the attentive chef, replenish and add to. Nice also that obviously the bathroom in the room not too long ago renovated. Also the beds are very comfortable. Otherwise we were as a non-smoker, however, from the strong smoke smell when Entering the house, shocked. The reception in addition to the as a Smoking lounge equipped Bar has a lot to endure. The Bar was then for us, unfortunately, unbearable, we have a visit to apart. Unfortunately, the house in many Places is really very old. Close the doors difficult or impossible to correct, the emergency exit signs are adventurous on the bare cable suspended, and the ancient Windows, you can see even naked bröselnden plaster.

Superb! extremely friendly and helpful staff, my Wife recently had surgery and therefore have difficulty walking, the Receptionist arranged a wheelchair within an hour of our arrival. Beatiful room, and guest areas, and the Bar and Restaurant were top-notch!. We have decided that the Savoy is THE Hotel we stay in when visiting Berlin.

2 weeks ago we have a WE in Hotel Brandenburger Hof spent. Therefore, we have it more or less aware of it constantly with the Savoy compared. The location of the Savoy is more pleasant and "cool", but it was at night quite loud. The rooms were perhaps a little less luxuriously equipped, and for example, the Sofa in The rooms on the corners are very worn. This was the bathroom at the Savoy considerably more beautiful and high-quality equipped. The Breakfast menu of the Savoy was significantly more diverse (and this at the same price as a Hotel in BH). In the overall standings wins easily, the Savoy, mainly thanks to the better Breakfast and better Bads. Also to be considered is that of the Brandenburger Hof is almost double the amount per night.

Location is quite nice — good Access to Restaurants, stores, and the S Bahn and U Bahn. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are sufficiently large and comfortable.

Staff are very helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is very close to where I needed to go. It is a 5 to 10 min walk to the zoo station in a very nice area.

A wonderful place to stay. The restaurant is extraordinary with the best breakfast you can get in a hotel. Thanks to a chef who loves his guests as much as he loves to eat. Servants and personel is extremely friendly and helpful in whatever need you are. This is a hotel to stay in when you love to feel at home.

The only negative fact was that our room was situated the side of the street so that it was quite noisy because of the train. But we spent a wonderful time in Berlin, and really appreciated the Savoy. Very clean, excellent localisation, very nice team, delicious breakfasts. We also enjoyed the Times bar! We hope we will come back.

We were 8 days in Berlin and well felt in the "small" Savoy very. The staff is very friendly and accommodating (some people has rated the staff as unfriendly, but it isn't, it was surely only language problems). Room 114 is very nice and clean. The case by mail send ahead, makes no problems. Breakfast was good and also sufficient. Also just before 10 00 h is still sufficient.
