We had a small but immaculate room with a great shower and bathroom. The room was modern and the bed super comfortable. An ample buffet breakfast was included. Also in a great position to access the sites. Brilliant. Thank you.

Rooms are quite small and not very comfortable, neither convenient. On the other side bathroom is big enough with nice hot water. No mini bar / refrigerator in the room, nothing actually into the room except a bed. In smoking rooms no ashtray and once you bring your own the staff didn't clean it. Cleaning could be improved. Fresh fruits in restaurant are free for breakfast but if you go and take an apple later the day from the open space will be charged €1. Good location, mixed experience.

This place was really good. Made by the 24 hour restaurant. Lovely outside area to sit and chill with a beer. Close to all public transport. Close to shops. I would stay here again. Fantastic staff. 24 hour desk. This place is everything you need and more.

Newly made structure with spacious rooms, soundproof and equipped with new, clean furniture. 24h/24h Reception with courteous English speaking staff. On the ground floor a restaurant/bar open all day, acceptable prices for the area. The proximity to Alexanderplatz (5 minutes walk) is the no plus ultra. The only flaw is the sweet breakfast: apart from jams and hazelnut cream, do not expect anything else and if not the traditional offers of northern Europe.

The hotel is very well located, perfect for a short stay. Good price/quality ratio.

Excellent bathroom, pleasant shower, modern soap and shampoo dispensers. Real espresso coffee and scrambled eggs that tatste like eggs. Decent choice of cold meats, cheese, breads and rolls. Fruit salads and fresh fruit on offer. Good value.

For the short notice with which we booked and for the central location in which it is located, I have to say that we paid a really good price! It's really a short distance from Alexanderplatz, so you can easily walk to it. Breakfast offers a good choice between sweet and salty. Only flaw that I would like to point out is that maybe the rooms are a little small, however it is really well maintained and very convenient for the location.

Great location, but rooms are very small. Clean and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is average level, not a lot of choice and no rotation of menu. Service is average as well, TV not working, we had to ask twice for towels that were missing and service made mess in the bathroom. All in all, great as a sleeping point but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Great location, just minutes from the Mitte Center and AlexanderPlatz station. The rooms are bright, but small, especially the space for clothes and suitcases (limited to a coat hanger behind a wooden panel and two shelves) may be insufficient for a stay of several days. No fridge and also safe. Small bathroom, but with the advantage of a large shower, nice idea of distributors of soap instead of the usual samples, but lacking other small necessities (shower cap, handkerchiefs…) that are now everywhere. It was a very nice Breakfast. The area used for meals is Very chaotic, with little rationalization for the distribution of the food stations and the sitting areas. Presence of an internal refreshment point open h24, with the possibility to buy (at a high price) also takeaway. Hotel Staff helpful and polite, someone also speaks Italian. Overall recommended for short vacations.

I stayed at the Hotel H2 from 27/04 to 2/05. The Hotel is close to Alexander Platz, a great location with connections such as trolleybus train and Metro to the various parts of the city. Great value for money Clean and modern Rooms, breakfast buffet rich and good quality! Young and friendly staff! Great to spend your stay in Berlin.

Had a really good stay at this hotel. Very smooth online booking (booked directly with the hotel which actually saved me money) — very good communication. Friendly staff who were happy to look after our bags as we arrived before our check in time of 3pm. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast was very good — despite the number of people (and it was busy one morning) there was always more food coming out! We ate in the bistro once (pizzas) and again very good — all the better for getting 20% off food and drinks with them! Would definately recommend this as a good base for exploring Berlin. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you — but it suited us just fine.

I had visited this hotel well located in Berlin with my wife in 2015, the situation did not change however I found the room for three people very small. Not recommended for 4 people.

Stayed from 29/03 to 01/04. Very good value for money Double room not overly large but clean and cozy. Breakfast is plentiful and included in the price. Very close to Alexanderplatz from where all the public transport to be able to turn the city. Recommended for those who want to visit Berlin.

Clean, great location view of the proximity to the station and in the surroundings there are different kind of locals. Attaccatissimo There is a very quaint Munich pub, a more sophisticated place is the Soho house always nearby.

Nice Hotel. The rooms turn out to be small compared to the actual effective liveability. Clean and warm. The bathroom is definitely adequate. Breakfast is plentiful but the furrow pieces are slightly limited. Follow the indicated times.

Die Anreise mit dem PKW ist sehr entspannt. Das Hotel hat eine eigene Parkgarage. Die Rezeption ist sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, jedoch sehr sauber und modern. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ok aber nicht mehr. Außerdem ist das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen, sodass man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln überall hin kommt.

This Hotel has a great location for Sightseeing and Shopping. Our room was clean the shower was very good. Checking in was done efficiently which was good as we arrived late. Breakfast was good with a varied choice which suited us. We would use this Hotel again, everything you need for a city break.

It is a really great hotel! From there, you can easily reach the TV tower, Alexanderplatz and the subway station, about 5 minutes walkway! It's completely uentral! The reception is really super friendly and help you right away! The rooms are absolutely classy and really clean! The beds and mattresses were good, so there is no back pain! The breakfast has everything you need, actually something for everyone! The service picks up the used dishes etc, you are careful to take it off and feel comfortable there! The warm menu is not overloaded, but is so completely sufficient and the good one can be prepared in front of the eyes! It definitely tasted great! We definitely want to go back to Berlin and the hotel will see us again as a guest! I had a price that was totally fine, it voted!

Three in a room and well something fair but fine. All very new and clean. Breakfast very good. One day they didn't make us a bed and another day they left us an open window. X the other very good quality price.

I've been housed here professionally. For me, the H2 is more the character of a youth hostel. Various rooms with 4 beds and little room to put off suitcases and stuff. Breakfast for 5, 70 euro is okay. However, it remains to be noted that more "young people" check in here. For professional stays, the H2 is not recommended in any case. Standards such as fitness room and sauna are also missing. There is no alternative to the adjacent H4 either. Use there must be paid with 10 euros extra.

The location is excellent. 5 minutes from Alexanderplatz so you have direct connection to the whole city. The room has a tight size but a large bathroom and with heated floor what in cold days is appreciated. Breakfast has a lot of variety and is very abundant so you can have breakfast every day in a different way.
For putting some glue I would say that the pillow is too thin so the first night I did not sleep very well. Say in his defense that the next day we asked for a second pillow and we put it without problems although for my liking (I imagine that surely there are some who prefer the soft pillow) would prefer another kind of pillow a little firmer.

Modern hotel, well equipped. Breakfast Buffet very decent but a bit expensive for only a two star. Attention, lots of groups of teenagers on noisy school trips.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are good and the stay was great. A star deduction since I had to wait a whole day to get fresh bedding where no hair or stains from the predecessor were on it. Despite super nice staff that immediately assumes a problem to solve it.

The best budget hotel I've ever stayed in. From the efficient and helpful reception to the well equipped rooms (lots of electrical sockets, bright, quiet, warm, clean, Wi-Fi good, full power shower, comfy beds) and the breakfast was great too. I wish all major cities had a hotel as good as this for the price we paid (80 euro for 2 people per night)

No minibar, no kettle, no slippers in the room. I put do not disturb sign but room cleaning entered the room. My sleepwear was missing, I found it under the curtains covered with dust. I informed reception but they did or suggest nothing as washing it etc. good location, comfortable bed.

The hotel is very centrally located. The various sights, shopping malls and party locations easily reachable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast good and the rooms pleasant. Our room was cleaned the next day nicely and the bath towels changed, which made me feel good. The restaurant/café on the ground floor, which is open 24 hours a night, is ideal if you are hungry or want to eat something small after the exit.

Very decent for the price in the center close to everything except the Berghain.

For the first time I found myself a hotel whose photographs inserted on booking faithfully reflect the reality: that is, as it is, as you see it: Modern, lumimoso and functional.
Even the reviews I read are accurate; I found myself in everything that they wrote the people who have stayed there before me: excellent breakfast (it is definitely worth paying a little more to enjoy), spotless, central a hundred meters from Alexander Platz.
Two Italian speaking receptionist make sure I can give the praise to this hotel.

The bathroom is divided into a double room that separates the shower from the toilet, very useful when you are in 2 to reduce the preparation time.
The only downside or negative note is not compared to the hotel, but to the area where it is located.
Reading the reviews (never having been to Berlin), I thought Alexander Platz was more central than locals and restaurants. It is an important pivot point for the Metro, so there are many shops and commercial clothing chains. A kind of central station, so if you want an area that allows you to go out even in the evening, maybe it's better to move a couple of blocks.
In any case, it all depends on what kind of trip you want to make; So if I were to go back to Berlin, I would still choose H2 with my eyes closed.

In H2 we stayed from 02.01.18 to 05.01.18. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Alexanderplatz and a 20-minute walk from Branderburskih Gate, on the central street of Karl Libnihta. There are many restaurants, cafes, shops and shopping malls nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is not large, but clean, cozy, with a new renovation.
There is an underground parking for cars, cost-€20 per day.
Breakfast is buffet style but serves the same dishes every day. Would love some variety!
Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel! Good value for money. Recommend!

A super hotel that is convenient but still the value for money is right. Very central in Berlin. Room clean and tidy. The size was absolutely adequate. There was free Wi-Fi (which worked well) and the staff was very friendly. Had only 2 nights and unfortunately the breakfast was both times absolutely identical and the juice was already empty 1 hour before the end. However, I was very happy and can only recommend it to anyone.

Modern Hotel in a convenient location for transport to the airport and the city centre, which can be reached on foot with a pleasant walk.
Excellent soundproof room, although basic and without closet, with comfortable bed, bathroom with excellent shower (missing the bidet) and heated floor and good cleaning. Television has no Italian channels.
The buffet breakfast offers mainly salty foods, but certainly excellent and abundant. You can also dine in the hotel at an affordable cost. The service bar and reception are h. 24.
Very quick the formalities of in and out and payment.
Absolutely advisable for short stays to visit the city.

Great hotel, clean, well located, comfortable rooms (in my lacked the minibar), air conditioning, copious breakfast with wide choice and good quality. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The only downside is that having almost 300 rooms, there is so much confusion for breakfast but neat.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, in the center, within walking distance of all major attractions. From the airport to the center runs a bus to it. Good breakfast. The rooms are cozy but small. Close to the famous restaurant of German cuisine.

Me and a friend of mine reserved a room but unfortunately had to cancel for private reasons as the trip could not be made. We canceled it a month in advance but still didn't get any money back. After 2 weeks have passed we have called to ask where the refund is and they simply told us that the cancellation was not free and have charged us the entire amount! This is despite the confirmation that the cancellation is free! 300 euros thrown out at the window. We will certainly not book any more.

Beautiful and modern hotel, the staff is very accommodating and polite. Breakfast is really great, and everything your heart desires, the hotel restaurant is open 24/7.
What is also positive about, the proximity to Alexanderplatz (about 200-300m), the nearest bus stop where the 100 & 200 stops is also only 100m away.

Central location and easy access to public transport. With the service was fully satisfied. Suitable as a base for excursions. I stayed here at a conference. This took place in H2 and neighbouring H4. The conference rooms and catering were very good.

Went here with a group of 32 students and 3 other teachers. Was absolutely perfect for this purpose. Good breakfast, pretty decent buffet dinner. Rooms clean and nice. The location was perfect, so close to alexanderplatz.

Very clean comfortable quiet good location to discover the city.

This hotel has good breakfast, friendly staff, with good location and the room had an excellent shower. The bed was also very good to sleep in. There is a supermarket behind the hotel and good restaurants in a walking distance, Block House for example. However… we received a room that was not very clean, there were a lot of spots on the walls in the bathroom, on the mirrors, a coffee stain on the floor, dust on shelfs. We went downstairs to complain and were offered a new room but we just asked them to clean it the day after which they did not do. We stayed for 4 nights and they never cleaned it as promised. We could have complained more but we were with a group of people who had other stories to tell about their rooms — a broken chair, unable to lock the bathroom, stains on walls and so on. I don't care about the outdated things as long as it is clean.

The location of the hotel, very close to Alexanderplatz, was the key for me to choose it. It was not expensive, either. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room included breakfast, which was good enough: self service with many options (a bit crowded at peak times. ) Everything in the building (like the lobby, lifts, corridors, etc. ) do not look tacky. The room, including the bathroom, was not very clean, though. It did not even have a chair, but only a stained stool, which may not be bothering if you are going to spend the whole day exploring Berlin, coming back only to get straight in bed. Otherwise, I did not find the room comfortable to have some rest or just to chill for a bit before going out again. On the other hand, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable enough. Even though the heating seemed not working, it was never cold inside. In sum, the hotel was not excellent. But probably worth the value.

This hotel was very central. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast up to 11am was great. 24 hour restaurant at the hotel was an added bonus. Great value for money.

Our experience was excellent. It is not luxurious but provides excellent value for money. Staff was professional and helpful. The building is big and modern. The room was modest but clean, quiet and modern. Beds are good. Breakfast was good. Location is good, it's a nice short walk away from Museum Island but there are also good connections by public transport. The theme is a little strange (blue bubbles) but that's about it and it's not substantial.

A very well located hotel with good decoration but a lousy service.
I have not made a trip alone to the hotel to be able to assess it, but if as a group of students where we tried to scam with bail (wanting to keep it), and denial many things by being Spanish when you had groups from other countries told us that nothing.
I do not recommend for anything at all, the hiring of this hotel if you are going with a group of friends or students because the horrible quality of the service you offer.

The hotel is nice, well placed with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and have modern facilities, but no tea or coffee making equipment. The food in the restaurant is well priced and tasty, and they have a selection of drinks available. There is a large selection of items for breakfast, a self service coffee machine for espresso based drinks, and a variety of teas. The hotel has free Wi-Fi which is available in all areas, and the televisions in the rooms have HDMI ports that are usable to connect a laptop or Chromecast, though remember to bring an HDMI extension cable.

My daughter and I visited recently Berlin over the weekend. As other reviewers have already pointed out the location of the H2 hotel is TOP really. Alex, the Red of City Hall or the Monica is quarter in just a few minutes on foot.
We found the hotel very comfortable. Very friendly & helpful staff, very clean rooms and a rich breakfast at a fair price. So, cities are fun trips!

Just checking out after just 4 hours. We got a room with dirty sheets full of hair, kindly asked to be changed when we checked in. After 3 hours they didn't do it. We asked again, waited for an hour with 2 small kids, still nothing. The guy at the reception was extremely rude, not even apologizing when we complained the first time. Second time he clearly stated he is on a break. The girl on the reception, on the other hand, very nice and helpful. Too bad.

The hotel is nice and it is located in a great location close to transport, but the services offered are not in line with a four star, both for breakfast and cleaning.
Regarding the food breakfast selection was limited and not high quality, some things were available only for a fee (breakfast croissants).
As far as cleaning on arrival was dust on the shelves and during our stay of one week was clear not picked up on the ground because accumulated dust flakes.
Poor service: when the rooms serviced not always were left the towels and the mat, need is therefore to require them. There were no samples of SOAP but a regulator that was not restored in time, so we had to ask for it and showering a day without. One day we were also forced to take a cold shower because the boiler was andatavin block and has not been reverted promptly.
The hotel was too, therefore there were always too many outside in the lounge in the evenings. One evening there was a boy who was smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer right on the outer side of the slides from which we had to enter.

It was super clean… The breakfast, very tasty and enough… Staff were very friendly and small Unannehmigkeiten promptly done… The only thing that the rooms were a bit small… otherwise everything was great… Will come back and continue to recommend this hotel…

We were five people for two days in this excellent, centrally located hotel. Quiet, clean and well maintained rooms, excellent and very well presented breakfast buffet, catering and shopping facilities in the corresponding SB restaurant around the clock (24 hours). Friendly and attentive staff at the front desk and the breakfast service. Only downside: the unfriendly gentleman in a suit at the front desk at check-in on day of arrival, which struck me repeatedly in the word and tried to teach me besserwisserisch. Hospitality looks different.

The hotel is perfectly located in Berlin with possibility to communicate on all sides with ease. Services such as the garage and the breakfast are very good though expensive. The deal is impersonal but effective. The room is small, in the limit uncomfortable for an international traveler with baggage. Mattress needs replacement.

That, I said, is a good hotel, modern, good price, friendly and well located. In our case the room was double and not very big but sufficient. What you like most? Perhaps a larger wardrobe cast in lack or little more than space to place things, but okay. Same, justito bath but enough with a very positive point, has under floor heating that is regulated from the private bathroom which makes the stay as warm as you want. And it also has a connection with the music of the television. That is, that while you aseas you you can be listening news, Ana Rosa, the time, the secret of old bridge program or whatever, while the other person sees the TV. The staff is attentive and all speak English. The breakfast is the typical pretty nice buffet with two zones. Eye, there is life beyond the coffee maker… One night we were to dine at the hotel because traps were and the truth that was also well, quite normal, but well. You have some incoming, hamburgers, rolls, salads, sandwiches, something for dessert. And the most important thing. The cafeteria is open 24 hours… Although we never got to find out. Another plus is that you have Wi-Fi free both in the common areas and room. The situation as I say is very good because it is 5 or 10 minutes from Alexanderplatz.

The location is top. It is located directly at Alexanderplatz square and from there, you can quickly reach all in Berlin.
It was at the hotel but unfortunately almost.
The hotel staff is very commendable and also totally friendly, but with the rest we were not really happy. The rooms were unfortunately not really clean. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling, the Windows were dirty, on the ground white layers were in the bathroom and the glass shelves in the bathroom were covered with dust. That was unfortunately in both rooms, we had to. (1 x change of room due to a construction site just outside the window) In one of the trash can was not even emptied.
The breakfast buffet was unfortunately too wishes left… As we at 09:30 there were, it was quite crowded and quite out of print. Also, the rolls at the time were already rock hard. I would probably not even book this hotel because up on the friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel, the rest don't really liked.

Very clean centrally located hotel with comfortable beds, modern but very small rooms, no locker for storing clothes, only a few hangers in a kind of no enclosed Cabinet. The dining room at breakfast is at the reception. At the beginning hits a little. Hours breakfast tips there are problems to get free table, but the staff is pending and tries to solve it. Reception staff is very carefree, you serve well, but they aren't too helpful.
Generally it is a good option for short stays.
