I couldn't ask for a better stay, with a great location to explore Berlin. From the moment I checked in the staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel was deliciously quirky with the decor and objects, this theme continued into the room. The room itself was a perfect size, with a lovely comfy bed and a great shower. My only criticism would be that the room wasn't air-conditioned. However a fan was provided which kept the room nice and cool. I didn't have the breakfast as I was one a room only rate. In short would I recommend to other people? Of course. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Great spot to stay in Berlin. Lots of attractions within a few minutes walk and the local underground was minutes away. Staff were friendly and helpful room was small but practical and more than enough for a short stay. Only downside was the heat! The room was boiling, no air con although we did have a fan it was impossible to sleep with it on. For safety the windows don't open very wide so air flow was poor. Would absolutely stay there again, maybe not through the summer months though.

Good location for the major sites, 10 minute walk takes you to the Berlin Wall and exhibition, Checkpoint Charlie just around the corner. Underground station 4 minutes walk — again a very handy location. We booked Junior suite for more relaxed space — everything we needed and the mini bar — water/juice replaced each day. The only downside with the room was lack of air conditioning however we visited Berlin during an exceptional week of very high temperatures. We coped just, with a huge fan. The staff were awesome — all went out of their way to help especially Anna on reception. The breakfast staff were again fantastic and maintained the breakfast room so nothing ever ran out. The Breakfasts are excellent — a wide range of choice each day with home made cakes on offer as well as a full range of usual breakfast items; cold meats, cereals, freshly cooked eggs (to order) bacon and vegetables. The start of the day was always a pleasant experience. Fully recommend this hotel and will probably us the Lisbon one when visiting there next year.

A wonderful modern hotel in the city centre, friendly staff helping to solve any issue. There's the internet, the safe, the TV, the phone. No fridge or kettle. Delicious breakfasts:)

Excellent location. Lovely helpful staff. Room was warm but window opened enough, and a very good fan was provided. Small bathroom but a great shower! Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. Only real criticism is how hot the reception area was. I would recommend staying here if you want easy walking access to all main sites, with plenty of places to eat nearby too.

A good hotel. When you get to the city for the first time you look for references and sometimes someone who understands your language. In this hotel many speak your language and advise you assertively and recommend you the day of arrival of the places you should visit the first day. Nice people. A very practical place, it moves away from unnecessary luxuries, although it does not skimp on modernity.

The location was excellent being very close to checkpoint Charlie but on a quiet street. The rooms clean, charming, fresh and with comfortable beds and nice linens. There were also nice modern storage components that made the tiny room perfect for a single traveler or for a couple on a very short stay. My single complaint was that there was no air conditioning and, because of the very limited window opening, the fan did not adequately compensate. Of course it would not be an issue had the temps not climbed to over 30 degrees but something to consider during summer travel. Bravo to this hotel chain for a very nice budget friendly option.

Great hotel. Stayed in it for a week. Located in the center, two metro stations (different branches) are within walking distance. The street on which the hotel is very quiet, slept with an open window. Clean and comfortable. Downstairs restaurant with Italian cuisine. Recommend.

I spent a fabulous week in Berlin, the room spotless clean, good light and windows, not listening to noise. Located near the checkpoint charlie and other historic sites where you can go walking. The breakfast is varied and good. The staff is collaborative and friendly. The access to the public transport system is very close and the route to the airport is quick and easy less than an hour. Would come back again? of course.

A nice hotel, I spent a weekend at their home, and I really loved the rooms are well clean. And also I took 2 times breakfast at home too and it was great. Employees are also respectful and professional. And if possible I'll also go back someday. I would definitely recommend it. I hope you'll also admire. The rooms are also equipped with a free Wi-Fi network and a TV screen placement. But with chain moin 20 or less. Spend a week-end the BA I hope it would be good for you. Thank you.

Brilliant hotel with pleasant-simple and fun furnishings of the rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast room kept a little cramped. Very central yet quiet location. The nearest subway station is only 3 minutes away.

Great hotel located one step away from the famous Check Point Charlie. Convenient to the Underground (Stadmitte stop) and very close to the Brandenburg Gate. Friendly and helpful Staff, minimal design rooms but comfortable and clean. Breakfast fee, but it is a standard of Berlin hotels.

We really enjoyed this hotel located near check point Charlie i. E. A relatively central position in the city. The hotel is quiet especially at night and the bedding of the rooms is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be improved or its price somewhat diminished. If one day we go back to Berlin, we would choose this hotel again.

Nice clean hotel on solid 3 stars. The breakfast is very good.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to explore Berlin. However, our room was very quiet. All the staff were friendly and helpful and set up for international guests. The rooms were clean and spacious (junior suite with balcony), the bed comfortable. Only the single, large duvet could not inspire us. There was also a delicious, varied breakfast (coffee unfortunately not quite so tasty).

The structure is modern and the environment is reserved and quiet. The rooms are clean and cozy. Nice interior arrangement and the photos lit above the bed. The hotel is in a central area and close to the subway. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Only flaws the excessive cost of breakfast that we did not try.

Friendly and clean. But the atmosphere is reminiscent of a green-painted fridge. Bed and bathroom was OK and for one night that's enough.

I loved my stay at Gat Point Charlie. The location was perfect, it was easy to find and centrally located to all the sites. Public transport was steps away and most sites were within walking distance. The one thing I didn't like had little to do with the hotel and a lot to do with the guests in the next room who got into a screaming match in the middle of the night. But the hotel staff were helpful in this situation as well. I'd recommend Gat Point Charlie in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a funky, clean, centrally located hotel at a reasonable price and with the best staff.

Equipment is very basic but adequate for 1 week everything clean, very good service and class location Breakfast is also ok the restaurant in the hotel is really good to try anyway.

Great location! Not only to reach important points — by subway and by walk — of Berlin but also to feel the the excitement of being at the critical point of the city's history. You are at the border of east&west. There are great places to have breakfast, lunch, dinner… very close to the hotel location. If you look for vanity this is not the place. But if you care about young, contemporary approach, both hotel building and the rooms are well designed, small but practical, highly efficient enough for few days touristic visit. The last but not the least, all crew starting from front desk; is very friendly, kind, helpful, elegant people. If I visit Berlin one more time, this is exactly the place I will stay again.

Perfectly situated in centre of Berlin for all attractions. Clean and comfortable. Restaurant serves excellent Asian food. Bar makes great cocktails. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Only downside was no coffee making facilities in the room. Only a minor thing I know but that would have made a difference.

An affordable and friendly hotel for a visit to Berlin.

I loved my stay at this hotel, a minimalist décor but very design just like I like. Good bedding, a very good location and especially a wonderful breakfast. The negative note of my stay was the outside temperature which was negative but the hotel is not there for nothing:)
And I was going to forget the 2 restaurants at the foot of the hotel that I tested and that I would recommend too.

Great location with friendly staff. Room was clean but unfortunately the curtains didn't want to close properly. That was annoying, especially as it was possible to look into my room from the window next to the lifts. Not the way a female traveller would want to stay over. It didn't make me feel comfortable during my stay. Loved the choice of pillows by the way!

Quiet and clean. Great location right in the center of Berlin.

It's better than the last time when I've stayed in bigger room in 2016. Small room is cozy, the bed is comfy. The bathroom got a proper mirror, but very under lit. Construction nearby is going on 7 days a week, but it's not very loud. But there is ONE THING that was very annoying: I forgot the multi-charger in my room with Apple cord in it. I've returned in an hour after my check out and concierge kept me waiting for 15 minutes (I could be back in 2). Than he said that the device was found and kept me waiting for another 10. After that he announced that it was a mistake, nothing was found in my room and smiled to me like nothing happened. That was nasty. Apart from this – it's a decent hotel, especially during the Berlin Film Festival.

Chic, contemporary, clean, good location! The staff are courteous, attentive and helpful! Clean rooms, toilet, comfortable bed, the room was well-kept, bed is made and towels are changed everyday, has a functional air-conditioner in the room, it was winter when we went, the room was always warm after a day of walking around with snow. Our room has a view of the small plaza on the street below. Above all, you get more of your money's worth! Highly recommendable!

Excellent stay. Beautiful hotel, modern, very good decoration and excellent location with a metro station to a Cusdra. Very good staff attention. It is a chain of Spanish hotels, so that all speak Spanish and for us and for us it was very important. Excellent breakfast. Recommend.

The location is perfect for touring and the evening is peaceful as around there are mostly offices. Few restaurants and almost no local but close to the U-Ban that will take you to the nightlife. The room is basic but perfect, small but cozy. Good value for money You can do without the breakfast as in the surroundings it is full of bars.

Modern, centrally located hotel. No mirror over the sink. Overall very relaxed service. We were able to check in earlier than planned and later check out as planned. Breakfast was OK. Light in the bathroom only from the right, bad for shaving or makeup. TV strangely placed and qualitatively more bad.

Bright, comfortable and spacious rooms, pleasant and efficient staff; Gourmet breakfast buffet, varied and plentiful. A real pleasure.

We liked the hotel, the location was great to be able to move easily and get to know the city. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But as it hits a lot of heat in the room at night, too. And as for room service, the second day we left at 9:30 and on returning at 15 we had not yet made the room. I say it as constructive criticism. Thanks a lot.

The staff was extremely helpful, good info, nice tips… the room was super cool, comfortable, clean and the light effects are amazing. Quite place, near to subway by walk and main places too. I recommend to rent the bikes and move around the city. The Asian restaurant they have also incredible and good value for money.

The hotel is very close to public transit, which makes it very easy to get around. It is also walking distance from city center. Overall, great value for the price, and would highly recommend.

Meter and several means at two steps. Inside the Hotel a good Fusion restaurant with different dishes and modest prices.
The staff is absolutely exceptional both from the professional point of view and for the presence, smiling and sympathetic some speak Italian.
The comfortable, warm and spacious room with all the comforts you can ask for on a trip.

International hospitality, Asian Hotel Restaurant and an extensive breakfast with Spartan but good room comfort. The breakfast room is quite cramped and small, but a star deduction.

It was a very nice hotel. Clean and tidy rooms. Only flaw, if you can definirore it, is the presence of a package of cigarettes used and the ashes of the Sigarrette on the carpet of the fifth floor, near the window next to the elevator, which remained there for the duration of my stay. However I had a great time and hope to return. Thank you and good luck.

Great Hotel, Super Central location, exactly to Checkpoint Charlie. All major attractions in Berlin are within walking distance of just over ten minutes. Quiet area and very well connected. Clean and quiet rooms Breakfast was great I definitely recommend it.

Small but fine hotel right in the centre. Only 100 m to Checkpoint Charlie.
Unfortunately the hotel does not have its own parking lot. However, you can easily stay in front of the hotel and check in before you arrive. Nearby there are a few streets where you can park for free permanently. You just have to search…
The rooms are simple and functional. The TV is far too small and the spring mattresses were well located. You can feel every single feather in the night. There is an urgent need for action here. A safe is available free of charge. The WLAN is free but open (no encryption) and limited to 3 mbits per device. There is no fridge and no mini bar.
Breakfast is convenient with a small selection of food. The coffee is pre-cooked and kept warm.
The hotel bar is ok but too expensive.

The Hotel is very nice, comfortable, well cared for and in a great location, right in the centre, but out of the traffic, in a quiet block, two steps away from the U6 stop and a few steps further from U2. Everything is exactly as you expect us seeing the pictures on the site, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in a very comfortable Junior Suite with balcony. There is not a nice view on that side, but we did not bother (and then on the other side there is a window that gives on the lovely little square in front of it). Of the furnishings we enjoyed everything (comfortable bed, with many pillows, design elements… clean carpet), and especially the lighting system, with hot and cold lights together, adjustable in a thousand ways, as you prefer. Bathroom fully functional and equipped (only the slippers are missing, but the rest are not announced). The environment is well heated, even too if the cold outside diminishes, as happened to us in the early days of staying;). The neighborhood is not the most characteristic, especially in the evening when the shops close and the area becomes a little ' cold and inanimate, but in ten minutes you reach the densest areas of locals and nightlife. Super recommended.

It is a very comfortable place and a great location; From here I walked to several museums and other points of interest in Berlin; Returning to the city, I would stay here again.

Hotel is decent, but the walls and ceiling are very thin so I could hear people walking at night upstairs, having sex, and snoring! Very nice people and good breakfast, but they could use some more variety of fresh fruit. Excellent location though! Close to everything or by transit.

A very nice hotel with very attentive staff. It has a very modern aesthetic at the same time as cosy.
It is located in a very central area and very well connected from where you can go to any point of the center on foot in less than 30 minutes. Which is always nice because it allows you to get to the tourist spots without having to go by Metro.
The varied breakfast offers from pastas, typical German pastries, to scrambled tortillas, bacon, different types of cereals and fruits.

Cons: — There is no minibar and although there is a vending machine it is very expensive. The water bottle from 50cl to 2, €5.
— In 3 days they have not replaced a towel and the room has done far above.
— To travel with babies it is difficult to heat the food by not having a microwave in the dining room or thermal carafe in the bedroom.

Great hotel, easy location to the sights. Clean rooms & breakfast was included however not enough seats so had to have breakfast in the bar. Water for the room here is €5 for a small bottle. Look up 'Rewe' nearby supermarket one block away, large bottles of water for less than €1! Easy!

Very simple hotel with very small rooms. For the price absolutely ok. Nicely central. Breakfast is massive and very restless. The buns in quality not so great. Unfortunately, the rooms have a few defects. Rust, stick stains and flattened paint in the shower. The toothbrushes were really dirty. And vacuuming and — cleaning could be made more careful.

Breakfast is good. There's a little choice of sausage and cheese. There is a huge selection for you in milk. From soy to cow's milk, there's plenty to try. There is also a choice of rolls. Only the seat possibilities are already very own. The missing cups for tea or teapots have also been noticed. Only small cups allow breakfast to become a standup breakfast.

Areas of improvement: Fresh fruit salad to be offered for breakfast and room temperature in the breakfast room (draughts) as well as in the bathroom of the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was great. It also has good communication with Metro and Bus. There is a bike rental option for €12 a day.

Very centrally located, clean modern rooms, but without wardrobe and no real chair to sit. The sockets are also impractical, as a meter is attached above the bed. Breakfast is average, the room is rather uncomfortable as there are also only stools and no chairs.

The hotel is amazing, really nice staff and well laid out. It’s one of the nicest ones I’ve stayed in around Europe. There is currently construction work going on next door which understandably is not the hotels fault but my room is basically on the construction site. Power tools and hammering start at around 7 in the morning and finish at about 6 in the evening. I would recommend this hotel if you can guranatee a room away from the construction site or once it’s finished.

Close to Potsdamer Platz, rooms are large enough for one or two nights, were with child and since the double bed was just too small (160cm), the staff was very friendly.

Good value for the money. Friendly staff. Central location close to subway. Only issue is that there is no AC in the rooms and it can get pretty hot inside. This is why I give 4 stars instead of 5

Efficiency hotel, in a GREAT location! Room is clean, nice shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. Efficiency is no frills, everything you need, nothing you don't. Loved the one eyed cat mascot! ;-)

Structure in a fantastic posozione, very convenient to get to every part of Berlin. The service of the hotel is great and the rooms although small are well appointed is complete with everything. Recommended.

Good things about this hotel: Location, breakfast, and water pressure. Bad: Availability in rooms to hang clothes, major construction next to window, and in the summertime the rooms are EXTREMELY hot. (There is no AC). If you're visiting Berlin in the summer, do not stay here. I wish I would've paid more for accommodation elsewhere with AC and better equipped rooms.

Nice, decent little hotel right around the corner from Check Point Charlie. Small, clean rooms. Very efficient and reasonably priced. Their breakfast buffet looked nice, but price was too high, with dozens of cafes right around the area. Will go back.

Good location, clean design room, good shower, best free Wi-Fi ever found. I was at the last floor and it was just a bit hot, air conditioning could be a problem in (unsual for Berlin) hot days.

Great location, within a 20 minute walk from many attractions. The hotel is very modernist (in a good way), and the rooms, while not huge, do not look or feel cramped. Great shower, and a bed that isn't huge, but comfortable enough to get a full night's rest. The only downside is the lack of air conditioner. It wasn't hot outside, maybe 70F/20C, but the room was rather warm. Opening the window helped, but at the cost of added noise. Overall, we'd happily stay here again. Cheers!

Hotel very new and well located. The rooms are quite comfortable, small but super well designed with space for everything. The bed is very comfortable and the shower great. The staff were so genuinely friendly. The paste main, perhaps, is the lack of common areas. There is a bar and a restaurant but not a nice area to wait or to be simply with the laptop in the lobby.

A decently priced hotel with surprisingly funky interiors. Room and breakfast were nice, except the room was too hot without air conditioning. But still ok for its price and location.

All of the staff speak English, are very attentive and help you in everything you need. It is a modern hotel, central and not expensive if we are in has what it offers.

A cheap, centrally located, hip hotel that is clean, safe, quiet, friendly and well located. They do a very good breakfast for 12/14 Euros with multiple cofffees. The rooms are the perfect size for sightseeing in. Berlin. Suggest they add a small mini fridge to each room. Highly recommended!

Good futuristic Hotel. Unfortunately, there are also a few drawbacks. Electricity will be turned off when not in the room. (no charging of devices is possible). An Elevator was broken. My Safe was broken.

Un hotel encantador, diferente al resto. Lo encontré de casualidad buscando algo céntrico y barato. No es tan económico como un hostel o una habitación compartida, pero tampoco caro como el resto de hoteles en la zona. Está muy bien ubicado, con buena comunicación y zonas turísticas céntricas. El trato fue genial, sobre todo porque hay varios españoles trabajando allí y todo fue mucho más fácil. La decoración en tonos verde y blancos es bastante moderna y bonita. Los muebles son modernos, a la par que elegantes, con un estilo bastante diferente a lo que suelo ver en otros hoteles. Mi habitación no tenía armario "cerrado", ya que tenía como unos estantes y perchas incrustadas en los mismos bastante originales. Todo muy limpio y ordenador. Algo muy importante. La cama era comodísima y no escuché ruidos por la noche. Eso sí, el desayuno me pareció algo caro, 14 €, por lo que desayuné fuera.

The location is very convenient, but the rooms are quite small and you can Park here in the wider area, practically nowhere.

Great impression when Entering the Lobby. Room product appropriately and simply. Housekeeping during the stay is non-existent: the bins stay full, bathroom not mopped, the shower room is not padded. Employees are overwhelmed or understaffed, not talking to each other, or, or, or?!? The only bright spot: the friendly Night Manager who tried after midnight the misadventures yet to repair!

We have just returned from a holiday in Berlin. We stayed a week in this hotel. It seems to Me an excellent hotel, very central and well connected. It has a very original design and everything is very clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. And best of all is that they speak Spanish all, or almost all, that makes you feel like in your country. It has been a very good choice. If I return to Berlin I will stay here.

Hotel Gat Point Charlie is a great, affordable, conveniently located hotel in Berlin. Sure there are some things missing like a lot of storage space, coffee machine, and a fridge, but for the price and convenience, it is definitely worth it. Staff was very friendly, gave us suggestions and highlighted a map for us upon arrival for at least 10 minutes with a wide variety of suggestions. The hotel is very modern and clean. It has a trndy feel with vibrant colors and art as well as odd touches like a green (literally) shower with no door or curtain, hangars that don't move, and giant light up posters above the bed, but it was overall a very nice and comfortable place to stay for a few nights. The bed was not overly comfortable, and I had some issues with the internet on my laptop, but it worked fine on our phones and ipad so it may have been me. The location is fantastic. A less than 5 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie and about 15 minutes to Potsdam platz or the Brandenburg gate. Berlin is a great city for walking around and the hotel made that very convenient.

No air conditioning. 35 degrees C. Furniture looks like it was designed by a kindergarten class, it's utterly useless and not comfortable for working. On the other hand, the staff are extremely nice and very helpful.

A very nice hotel, spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
